- We just wrapped up van build number 22 which is our last client build for 2022! This Beach House layout was built in a 2022 170” Sprinter Van.
Designed with all the comforts you need to truly enjoy life on the road - the Beach House Layout by Custom Crafted Vans includes a Wet Bath, Convertible Table Bed, Hanging Closet, 130L Fridge & Kitchen. Powered by a 540 AH Battle Born lithium battery bank and featuring a 12v Dometic RTX AC unit and Espar Diesel Heater.
This layout includes custom butcher block countertops, tile backsplash and storage solutions to make the most of all the space the 170 High Roof Mercedes Sprinter has to offer. We are so excited at the finished of this beautiful van inside and out!

Love the van, it looks so fresh and clean with the color, also with the wood!!! Can you tell me why you choose to use Sprinter over other makers?
Wondering if you have any tips/videos on doing the bed liner on the lower half of the van. I have been told many conflicting things about it and not sure how or what I want to do.

Love this layout! I've seen some where the cooktop is where the sink is. Isn't that a good spot so the smoke and heat don't damage the overhead cabinet? And when you're not using the cooktop you have a spot to sit groceries or whatnot when you step into the van. Thoughts?
Yes that’s a great idea and that is where we put it if a client wants it built in. Definitely not good or up to code to put a cooktop under the upper cabinets in a van.
No drawer locks?! They don’t come open while in transit?

What is the smallest (length) van that you guys work on?
We only work on Sprinters - the 144" is the shortest Sprinter van.

Awesome build!!! Looks like you attached Overland Vehicle System storage box, how did you secure it to the roof?
It’s the Roam Adventure box. We use their mounts and attach them to the Aluminess roof rack

Yes, but you'd have to make the benches wider in the back - right now we do 23 inch benches which would be pretty small to sleep on.
