You've got to fit rick shiels at some point. His recent video trying to pick a driver was screaming for you guys to help 😅
Rick needs Ian to tell him to take his long irons out of the bag bc Rick cannot hit them reliably whatsoever.
Rick has never seemed to be big on the fitting side for some reason or he thinks he can do it himself. Or he thinks form is more important. It may be strategic with the nature of his channels content helping viewers pick their own clubs. Never makes sense when he is putting his golf game out there for the world to see and scratching his head with the results
Yeah, honestly with the HIT channel, it really shows how little Rick knows about the numbers. He doesn’t even have to speak to them, but not having AoA, Dynamic Loft, CHS, Landing Angle, even flashed on the screen is so frustrating to watch.

@@victorchen8484I think Rick is just sent his basic specs via mail I’ve not seen him ever post a manufacturer outdoor fitting session like Ian and Mike do throughout the year each year.
Love showing how there are differences and similarities fitting female golfers; especially such a great example like Amaya. More women and juniors is a great addition, Thanks!
I’m curious why with her love of the G425, a G430 wasn’t tested. I was interested in seeing what the differences may have been.

It seemed pretty clear that they wanted to get overall weight down, to help her pick up speed overall. Ping heads are just too heavy.

Weird, they make lighter sole weights to get to lighter headweights.

Yes please. I'd love to see Amaya back for a bunch of videos. Her driver speed of 96 -100 mph is the perfect representation of the majority of male 'weekend golfers' - the majority of your audience (I'm guessing). Her upbeat personality is very engaging, as is her smile and she would certainly be a 'draw card'.
Boys a hell of a job on this vlog. Amaya your such a sweet heart and such a happy person and your attitude is so perfect with happiness and determination for anything. The new driver setup looks sweet and I hope you enjoy it. Ian and Mike again he'll of a job with this vlog and I would like to say is that I really enjoyed it and also if I had to say is that I put this vlog on top that is the best of 2024 so far. She definitely deserves a putter fitting. I hope to meet Amaya one day on the golf course or even at Club Champion on my full bag fitting soon. It always seems like with the TM drivers, you have to really focus on getting the strike slightly above the centerline. They always want to be low on the face and spin goes up a lot. Seems to be the opposite of the Pings, which manage spin much better across the face.
Maybe my favorite video you’ve ever done. Amaya is awesome. Her swing is awesome. The fit was awesome.
Even the square driver era didn't sound as bad as a G425. Wouldn't play it under any circumstance.
That driver literally sounds like wood
Would like to see a few more high handicap iron fittings. Some with people that have a less consistent swing to see the benefit of a proper fitting.

Great to see more women on the channel, especially cool to learn about such an accomplished and talented person like Amaya. The technical tips mixed in are also really helpful, and show that you guys are about more than just selling a product, you’re all working to grow the game and really help people improve. Love it!
Ian is totally right - a couple/few forever drills is a great way to approach keeping you within some fundamentals. Thankfully, I have recently found mine!

Hey Ian, can you make a video about a second driver fairway finder setup? The brnr mini driver is expensive and I’m wondering if you can accomplish this with a 12 degree driver head, especially for a fast swinger.

How do you go about fixing the toe strike? I find I have been hitting off the Toe.
Fix your position or swing. You might be to far
You might want to try something like what PGA Tour pro Sahith Theegala does at set up (I wouldn't try to emulate the rest of his swing, it's very unique). He sets up with the ball towards the heel of the club (especially with driver, he sets up with the ball almost at the hosel) because he knows his swing is going to deliver the clubhead towards the middle of the club face with this setup. You also might want to try to reserve some time on a launch monitor if you have a facility near you that has quality launch monitors that can show you where you are hitting the ball on the clubface and show you your swing path (a Trackman or a Foresight GC Quad). It can tell you if you are creating a swing path that may be leading to your toe strikes and you can play around with different setups to see if you can improve your strike location.
This was one of my favorite fittings. It demonstrated how expert club fitters can blend instruction with component changes. Great subject with Amaya, really like her swing! Thanks guys.

Why not try TSR2? I was fitted to TSR2 coming previously from a G400 LST. My numbers are close to hers. TSR2 with a Diamana shaft is sneaky long and doesn't get the sub 2000 toe ball that drops out of the air.

I think Mitch would be super interesting given he used to be really good and is recently getting back into golf and he hits it a mile.
I love the aggressive move though the ball. I tend to not be able to swing fully indoors.

Having picked up 3 mph club head speed with QI10 it’s unlikely we could compete with that in a 10K without changing the head weight to be lighter.
Can we talk about how bad the G425 sounds.
Changing the shaft on the Ping driver would have probably made all the difference
