@@andrewthies9408 this is my biggest music pet peeve of all time. why cant trombone and baritone just transpose bass clef. so random dude way back in the day decided it was a cardinal sin to read bass clef and have it transpose, so you end up with the weird fact that you can read euphonium in treble or bass cleff, but if you read treble clef its transposed in Bb and you can just read trumpet fingerings, but if you wanna read bass clef now its in concert pitch and you have to learn new fingerings. imagine the world if they could just transpose bass clef and all the fingerings would all be the same and the trombone slide positions would match up with trumpet valves
This just reminded me of Michael Bublé's Santa Claus is Coming to Town. Have no idea why. It's groovy though. One that makes the mind continue the tune for ya.

Plus... James is playing the piano in the key of B flat and the trumpet in the key of C. Props.
this is truly a feat. I immediately looked to see if he was cheating with a trasnpose button and nope, he's the genuine article!
He also plays trombone and other low brass instruments, so he's likely pretty comfortable with thinking about brass instruments in concert pitch.
@@seth094978 Low brass instruments are pretenders Bb gang all the way

Nice! I uploaded my transcription of the same solo 8 months ago and it's not even reached 3k yet!
Bloody algorithm!
Oh damn :D I didn't even see that. I swear, i am not a stealer)
the algorithm is really like this, you need to upload consistently and be lucky to choose a good title
Don't worry! I originally called mine "When The Pianist Doesn't Show Up"!
i didn’t even realize he was playing piano until end 😳
:D

Basin Street Blues
😮
What trumpet he using? Seems so weightless 😁
James Morrison, playing on a Schagerl Raven. A rotary trumpet that looks like a cornet!
@@lukebeasley6298 He designed it so that he could have the precise articulation of a rotary but being able to play it with one hand.
