Ok go for a 100 dlls Nike and breaks your ass. Tha bike as they componentes itself makes a conplement with the rider. I live pm sonoran desert and ride on nite only
Perhaps you should blame your lvl of fitness, personality type or childhood instead of the bike, huh? I have a much cheaper Trek 29'er that's about 3 y old and frankly I haven't dared ride above my skill level yet so I blame fear of injury and personality type for not having much skill. If you're not skilled/beginner/amateur/n00bish some slightly used 29" Trek hardtail from 1-3 y back will be plenty of bike to aquire skills with, but that requires hard work, a good teacher (friends maybe) and a good location (great tracks to advance skills and hone techniques).
@@jairdabrini Damn, I was about to pull the trigger on a Santa Cruz Hightail as my first bike. Just b/c it looks so damn fun. Haven't ridden a bike in over 25 years.
Trek is well known enough for being the best I don't think this video does a company like that justice in my personal opinion but yeah this is a pretty good ad if you will.
I’m getting a 29er and I was worried it’d be too big and not as maneuverable but now I think it’ll totally work and not be sluggish or slow or anything
I just noticed that the top tier 2019 Stache is whopping 0,4 kg lighter (12,6 kg vs 13,0kg) than the 2018 model, albeit about three hundred dollars more expensive - still it should be easier for a highly skilled rider to do these kind of tricks and jumps with the newer one.
I was wondering, when the guy changes his brand, he will have to return all these bikes? As soon as you have to return your box fiber at the end of your subscription 😄
Nick Burgess The bike for 2016 was designed around 110mm so thats ideally the travel you want but more travel from a fox 36 would be fine, a few people have that setup
2017 models (at least some of them) now have 120 travel so you could go up to that and be good. You just need to get a Fox 36 with Boost spacing that is compatible with the plus sized tires.
Just like 26 was an option when 27.5 came out. Boost 148 will replace 142. Just watch. I love it too when my 142 hubs will be obsolete in just 2 years and will be hard to replace/fix.
I stumbled upon this video and noticed how familiar his neighborhood that he's riding in. I found out today my neighbor is a famous mountain biker
Noah Simmons try going outside for ounce in ur life
Ruslan Kostenko I already do that
Ruslan Kostenko Four ounces is equal to 1/2 a cup
Sage Roberts lets be fair, im 16 and i dont like chemistry or english, also i said for ounce, not 4. So its not that funny
RussIan Kostenko i thought it was funny - and helpful. 4 ounce of sealant in a tire = 1/2 cup LOL
was it by accident that he used the number 29 chairlift? hmm great video though, so creative!
Serious skill! Its the rider..not the bike.
LuisM. Hdez totally agree not the bike it's the bad ass rider
So true! Now I'll go out and buy a mongoose full sus for 100 dollars
The bike is awsome, you shuold try

You should try to backflip a folding full suspension electric 20 inch tandem fat bike
I’ve watched this video 4 times today, mostly to assure myself that you can do crazy stuff on a 29er
Dang, I have this bike, I cant blame the bike anymore :(
why tf would you blame it, it is fucking sick i wish i had a bike like this

jairdabrini I think you missed the point of his statement.
i absolutely love my stache, its frikkin awesome.
man... amazing!!! i thought it was going to be impossible do a sigle trick on a 29er. such a good rider!
He sure knows how to have fun on a bike! That's what it's all about to me. He does a lot better job than most RUclips MTB guys.
Rode one of those today. I was so skeptical and then I was just floored at how agile the bike is.
Great effort + top skills (very talented rider).
That was super fun to watch. Love the flip flop 1/2 mile wheelie!!
Freaking loved this! Brought home a Stache 5 29+ yesterday...give me a couple days to finish my checklist :-D
Literally got my 2020 trek stache 9.7 yesterday
Awesome to see him showing what the Stache is capable of. I love mine.
i watched this video like 10 times. one fo my most favorite videos.
"He's mad at me because he already started his Strava" - ROTFL
I've got the normal 29er version of This bike and it's amazing
This is such a good ad
Trek is well known enough for being the best I don't think this video does a company like that justice in my personal opinion but yeah this is a pretty good ad if you will.
I was ripping cocc all summer - never got to meet you man. legend
that was sick but made me feel so shit about myself 😂
Same same
Absolutely mad skills!
Vid also makes me homesick for my home state. :-(
I’m getting a 29er and I was worried it’d be too big and not as maneuverable but now I think it’ll totally work and not be sluggish or slow or anything
That whirlybird... why cant i find any pictures or anything in youtube of that, it looks extremely cool
Completely awesome talent!!!!!!!
That was awesome. I can't even pop a wheelie. Thanks
Man you would be such a fun guy to ride with. I gotta make a trip down to Bend soon.
This guy has skills for days lol
Can you do a 24" mtb challenge
got the trek slash 29 and struggle to do wheelie with 29e and full suspension bike hard to see him xD
Awesome rider !
Mate, you're having too much fun. Awesome clip
Easily one of my favourite riders
Can’t believe this was 3 years ago already
Best part was defo the sparks at the end!!
That was an awesome video to watch :-)
woowww you killed it.. ur a pro rider so Im going to hit the subs. right now
Hi! May I know what fork did you use fornyour Trek Stache 7? Thanks! =)

Anyone know the resort at 4:13 ? Oregon license plates everywhere but it doesn't look like Mt. Hood.
Mt. Bachelor
dude impressive bike skills but then again you've done the rampage steel balls for that event
Absolute sexy Tundra V8. Yes!!!
0:03 My neighbors ask exactly the same but all their bikes are stolen😂😂
the 29 inch challenge sounds pretty rough
What was the rigid fork used at the start?
trek i guess :/
I was wondering, when the guy changes his brand, he will have to return all these bikes? As soon as you have to return your box fiber at the end of your subscription 😄
Monster skills on a monster bike.
Well now I want a stache.. which was the exact one he was using?
The stache 9 2016 (the frame)
ZacharyOlsen I'm just confused. Will a fox 36 fit on it ok? Does anything have to be done to put one on?

Cam needs his own show

crazy stuff, love it man
i wonder how did he felt like in downhill corners god damn its huge
did you do a barspin with brakes on? if yes than does the bike has a gyro?
W0LF MTB im wondering that to
Pre wind the cables.
check out pics of the bike here - www.vitalmtb.com/videos/features/Cam-McCaul-and-the-29-Challenge,32246/sspomer,2
What fork does he have on here?
The industry is pushing hard to get people to buy plus sized wheels with boost axles.
Goodbye 142mm regular sized 27.5's, hardly knew yah. :'(
ronald0609 Yeah, I hate it too when I have more options to choose from.
Just like 26 was an option when 27.5 came out.
Boost 148 will replace 142. Just watch.
I love it too when my 142 hubs will be obsolete in just 2 years and will be hard to replace/fix.
I could do that... oh wait, no I can't.
Seriously impressive stuff there.
Which Fox fork is that? Seems to have plenty of clearance for 29x3.
Great video!
Such a great video. The Trek Stache 29 was discontinued unfortunately. Any other bike like it?
surly makes some 29+ bikes and a few other niche brands do.
Heck of a strong rider.
If you've never wheelied one of these on a windy day, it is ridiculous how even a small gust can make you do a 180 if you aren't carful lol
Cam, for the weekend warrior, is this a bike you'd say "hell ya" or "run dude"?
What is the frontal suspension for the first bike appearing in the video??
dude is ultra fkn sick on a bike!!!!
I keep wondering if this Aluminum. Is it? I may have missed it if he mentioned it
Does anyone know where they filmed this?
Yo I know how you feel I got a 29" and I wear size 13 shoe
What are These shoes at the end or how do you make them? Just put a metal Thing at the soe or what?
Looks like a fun bike
you make the 29er look so easy to ride
He makes all bikes look easy to ride!
this guy is a beast
Cam McCaul... The man who can do anything on two wheels.
Wow you do have skills
Cam is awesome
Wow. Just wow.
Awesome!
Trek Stache long Life!!

Take that 27.5" fans!
No double front flip?
Mad bike!
Give that man a street race bike and he'll do tricks :D
I ha e the same bike. What fox fork is that?
Which frame size is it ?
How do you go up stairs with out smashing your rim
your a beast Cam!
He's like a Cali-version of Sam Pilgrim. Just replace "the dream" with "a charm"
And how much travel? Thank you! =)
Anyone notice he was putting his 29er on chairlift...29 XD?
Cam what kind of forks are those??? I didn't think fox made 29+ Factory forks yet......
Also nice video, Mad skills and my favorite part had to be riding up the stairs to Manual!
26" wheels one love ! other things make triks riding WORST
My dream is to have a bike like that
What's the song during the beginning
Do it on drop bars, Tomac style.
