Already looks like it's almost on shore if the outer bands and clouds are part of th storm then when the clouds go over you and it starts to blow and rain then the storm has arrived
those outer rain bands before the core of the storm arrives on land makes the flooding so much worse too

Can we compare Beryl to the last storm we had back in May when we lost power for 5-6 days? Comparable in wind strength? Rain amount?

No, compare it to 2008 cat 2 hurricane ike which strengthened and rapidly intensified like beryl will on approach 2 Galveston+Houston… HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF & IKE WAS A CATASTROPHE!!! 8th most costly us hurricane of all time CAT 2
