I tried playing yba after some months and the first thing i saw was a guy doing an op combo with scary monsters and vampire on me. The fanbase is made of sweats at this point. I dont know what to say about aut. Its very grindy but its kinda fun to play if you have some friends
My least favorite part about the insane amount of moves you have to juggle (which I failed to mention) is that it's REALLY HARD to learn a build. Since everyone's build is different it's hard to find amazing tutorials and they are too complex to just figure out in less than a hour.
🔥 oh yeah the highest player count the game had was approximately 2,000 when Eclipse made his video, but we havent done any sort of promotions or advertisements since, so newer players havent been coming
Man I just missed 2020-2021 yba and aut because with my friends it made them 100x better, now without them and the game just regressing just makes this fun
imo the yba devs have every right to be upset considering yba:L is all stolen assets, but i also have zero pity for them because theyve been acting like they are in the right through their entire history of not updating the game. uzu has anxiety we've been told, he doesnt communicate whatsoever, he also tells lies to the community so they will leave him alone, and he very clearly struggles with motivation. paragon stays loyal to him through it all and treats us like idiots in sub-announcements when we complain even though its all been justified. YBA is dead and aut became a casino. its a 'pick your poison' type of situation where aut lets you have like zero moves and yba has WAY too many fuckin moves.
I had hope in YBA even after the vampire rework (copium) but the moment they released SM rework it was over, now when i try to even enter YBA 1v1 it doesnt even let me
I agree on most points like in old Yba's combat being better but only for the most part. Stuff like pluck NEEDED a rework or nerfs because of the position it was in as a buggy mess. Not only this, but old Yba had it's fair share of 75% or 100% health combos. Like Kc, Twoh, Sptw, Sp, Any TS if you do the bug, Hg, CD if they got off a rock trap, SCR, SC, and I'm sure if i was given more time i could think of more. Not only this but we also had Pilot barrages, Pluck thrust cheese, Pluck Pierce strike linger Cheese, Unblockable Inhale, GER, timeskip during TS, True Ragdoll > TS, KC R Reality marble posing, and other stuff. I also believe that all old yba metas, or atleast most of them, would probably mog all new meta from Modern Yba. I agree on most of what you've said though, i just believe people are looking at old yba with rose tinted glasses though if you change your glasses set you realize it's just the same game but m1s are better and the moves are not as spammy as modern Yba.
Yeah.. old YBA had its own unbalanced things. Luckily YBA:L does balance changes almost daily, so it’s actually more balanced than the original old YBA. Some people find these changes not accurate to YBA, but I would fit them with the QOL changes
i havent seen them patch most of the game breaking meta things that made Old Yba painful sometimes. I've only seen them make life a little easier in small QoL changes. So i don't really think balanced quite fits the picture.@@MissingHunter

This is pretty much riding tbh. old yba also had some crazy unbalance like kc cheese, twau, etc, and it's kinda just glazing cuz it's just old yba but with quality of life changes and balancing but I do agree with most of the stuff you said
A reason that was brought up by Eclipse, and a bunch of other people is ethics. To them, it simply isn't ethical to take a persons original concept and re-do it, even though it may be what you really want.
I think the reason for why they aren't playing YBA: L is eclipse. He's very influential, even with his decline in viewership since his departure of yba content. It doesn't matter if most people in the comments are giving him shit about it, most of the people who watched that video are going to take what he's saying to heart and not play the game. Honestly, i don't really care too much about old yba being back, we need other original games, not just the same game but emulated into being slightly better.

I would compare it more to like emulation Emulation allows players to play older versions of games that aren’t on the market anymore, just like how old YBA isn’t playable anymore. It forces companies like Nintendo to either make their older games more accessible or make products better than the old one (competition). It forces the company to make better products than the previous one, or players will just play the previous product. Case in point, how YBA:L is being played since the older version is better than the current product.
Eh keep it, you don't know if in the future you wanna go visit the grave of this game when it has less players and nothing of value. I certainly will see it in the future like that.
If the YBA staff wasn't corrupt and acted upon its community over very minor rules which lead to punishments like bans, I wouldn't have issues with either version of the game. Only reason why I support YBA:L over the original version is the corrupt staff, which banned me because I forgot my other discord account (which I had lost) was banned for "misuse in the trading channel" 💀💀💀 Overall, I would probably support YBA:L more regardless for nostalgia, and that the original YBA game can't recreate due to its mass reworks on everything they possibly plan on. (AUT was mentioned in the video, and all I gotta say is AUT was the game that brought me into JJBA as a whole, and I still play it regardless just for the fun of it, not specifically for the grind)

personally I got into jojo games via ABD and for YBA (which was sub surfacing as the new JoJo meta) I played that only to realize it just gets worse from here like depression so I switched to old AUT where I just afk for cursed orbs and Shinigami stand and stuff it wasn't half bad but I went to modded ABD to restore nostalgia back to ABD which got worse and worse to the point where the game just died and yba and AUT being overall a downward spiral I just quit the JoJo genre altogether because it is INFACT no way shape or form will feel like its old self and even then itself was pure asscheeks for a game as players get older and more criticism is made more people move onto different games and either those games you start playing either DIE they discontinue development its just not even a good game or just a horrible fanbase you just cant win on roblox

this video is pretty dumb, sure, beying able to read and redo old YBA code is a feat, but its like saying that someone remaking Minecraft with the same source code, but changing it so you don't have to wait to swing again, makes it any good, its still stolen code, and also , saying they make updates 17 times faster than YBA is very dumb, because even though I don't think uzu really cared, they still had to come up with NEW content, example: if i re-recorded the sonic movie, but used the old ugly model instead, it wouldn't mean i made anything new, the movie script was already done, the story, the voice acting, all i did was change a few details, i didn't have to come up with the content of it. TL;DR; the reason YBA:L seems so much better, is because YBA already made 97% of it, the small QOL features don't make up for the fact there ARE stolen assets in the game I'm not the best at arguments, so maybe my point isn't clear, and no, I'm not debating 10 year old's replies
In my opinion I used to play old aut yeah it was so grinding but I would feel so happy getting made in haven back then now it just feel boring obtaining some things and plus the gambling and all these people in aut gambling for skins its not the same anymore that just my opinion
I dunno man... Even if they're updating the game and improving it, the base of the game isn't theirs. I agree that old YBA and YBA:L are better than current day YBA in terms of the game itself but I can't endorse stealing code and assets like that... You could also say that they're riding on YBA's success by using their name which is also underhanded if you ask me.
YBA:L is more like a non-profit project rather than an actual competitor. The game doesn't make any money and there's no way we could get a better version of YBA without the game taking some of YBA's playerbase. However, if YBA wants to actually improve they are gonna have to start treating YBA:L like a competitor

YBA:L was built on YBA:AU, and YBA:AU is a YBA stolen assets game, playing any YBA stolen assets game, recording it on video and uploading it on youtube will lead to you getting banned on YBA, it was always like that. So banning YBA:L youtubers isn't "beating down" on YBA:L, it's just simply enforcing the rules that were set a long time ago

What i meant is that if your going to have old yba, it shouldn't repeat the same mistakes that yba has always done and actually listen to the community for balance changes. The point of yba: legacy is to be better and an improvement over the current yba and maybe even the old one. I do understand wanting the old glitches and bugs back but that cheese should be left in the past, specially if it leads to a better balance and a better playing experience.
Only reason why I’m still playing YBA instead of starting a YBA:L journey is that I have a lot of skins in YBA. I like the look of my YBA skins and I’m just not willing to go get them all again in another game.

My TL;DR is that I heavily disagree with this video because I see the points and evidence here as being poorly constructed. Read if you want to, but I'm only going to respond to civil counterarguments here. 4:38 - Explains how YBA players need TOD combos to win, proceeds to show the exact opposite with Star Platinum players in neutral. 5:04 - Recommends Eclipse for an opinion of YBA's new reworks... while also showing his video explaining why he doesn't like YBA:L. 6:04 - The players aren't there because they're afraid they will get banned for playing the game (which currently isn't true, you only get banned in-game if you supported YBA:L in any monetary way). And also, it's pretty clear that not everyone wants to go back to the old version. There's so many balance changes that are in the current YBA that are missing from YBA:L. It's a matter of having nostalgia goggles which many players either don't have or can see clearly through. 8:44 - Eternal Battlegrounds is not an ABA copy, it has completely different combat and isn't even being worked on by the same team as YBA. Think of it more like Skyrift (very niche game) or Deepwoken combat. Uzu isn't abandoning YBA, he's just working on something else because he's tired of focusing on YBA all the time (at least that's how I'd imagine a dev working on a single project for 5 years would feel). 9:12 - YBA:L RUclipsrs are being banned because the game does steal assets from YBA. Making content or supporting games that use stolen assets leads to a ban, this has been in the rules for over a year now. 9:43 - Competition? Really? If someone stole one of your videos word for word, slightly edited the script to be more engaging, and then still used your original footage, would you take that as a sign you need to do better? No, you'd strike that person for stealing your video. That's the same idea going on here. This is why games INSPIRED by YBA (such as TCA, Roblox is Unbreakable, ect.) are being left alone, whereas games like YBA:L or YBA:NU are not. Also, be completely honest. What are the YBA:L devs going to do once they finish "re-creating" all of YBA's stands and specs? Even if they had to go through so much effort just to make all of this work, they're literally only copying old YBA. At this point, the devs should just reuse this code for something new and fresh similar to TCA. Hell, I bet they'd get way more traction that way by actually having original ideas while keeping the combat INSPIRED (rather than stolen as it is now) from YBA.

However, Uzu is most definitely abandoning YBA in pursuit of EBG. The reasons are as follows: 1. The code is completely fresh, and will be smoother than YBA's framework 2. The game is easily marketable due to its large variety of characters from various franchises 3. It has the battlegrounds aesthetic to it, which has been a trend on ROBLOX for quite some time now. In the end, it's very clear that Uzu has lost motivation for YBA entirely. Although I don't fully remember what he said regarding his comparisons between EBG and YBA, it's very clear that he most likely no longer enjoys working on YBA and wants to branch out to more animes, assisted by EBG's diversity. Uzu has also always been quiet regarding YBA, and he hasnt said antthing about it since EBG, and we also haven't gotten a single patch since the SF rework, signifying that he probably doesn't even care anymore. Roblox is Unbreakable and That Crazy Adventure are insanely different from one another, and they share almost nothing with YBA as well. They may be inspired, but YBA:L and YBA:NU are both meant to be copies. I don't know much about NU, but YBA:L introduces what would happen if Uzu didn't cause the downfall of his own game. What if Uzu cared for his game and actively engaged with his community? What if Uzu updated frequently? Those are questions that nobody will ever know, and they'll simply stay as what-ifs. In a sense, striking somebody for stealing your footage and making a slightly better product of it is simply by choice. Some people would see it as competition, as somebody else made their own video better than the original. It is *actual* competition because they are using your own things *against* you, and showing how it could have been done better. Now, your final paragraph is just downright pointless. If you paid attention to YBA:L, (there is a must-read channel in which I yapped my heart out to explain the entirety of the game's future) you would have your answers shown right off the bat. However, since you probably won't even after this reply, here's what you're missing: 1. Well duh, this is meant to be a LITERAL RECREATION of old YBA. Please refrain from being a broken record. 2. Reuse this code and make a fresh product, and using *TCA* as an example? Hell no. The code is horrendous, and the game is extremely unoptimized. (Also quick thing to note, it's YBA:AU code, which is different from the actual YBA) Most of the time is spent fixing bugs and attempting to polish performance and the code as a whole. And yet, even then, the code would still be unfit for a fresh product. This game is not, and never will move on to be its own "original" game. It is a relic of YBA, but with changes made to make it BETTER. Turning a game MADE to replicate old YBA into an "original" game will not gain traction whatsoever. TCA and RIU are both examples that you have brought up, both of which have failed to gain traction and have had diminishing player counts since their release. I'm sorry, but YBA will forever be the most popular jojo game on ROBLOX. AUT has slowly been killing itself, similarly to YBA, and other games like Sakura Stand and World of Stands are just drastically different. I'm not even sure if Uzu could make his 3rd attempted comeback and save YBA and ROBLOX jojo as a whole, as even jojo is losing traction without the release of Part 7. Anyways, just please pay attention and do proper research before your rambles. It sometimes hurts to see people who are misinformed, and I promise that I'm not trying to look down on you in any sort of way. I'll gladly hear out to what you have to say, but PLEASE read what I said in the must-read channel of the YBA:L discord server. It quite literally sets out the game's legacy.

The first two aren't insanely flawed, I just wish there was better evidence for his points there. Secondly, yes, I have looked at YBA:L (on an alternate account with no premium so I don't give the devs money lol) and I have to say, there's quite a lot that's still missing (or at least when I played it, these might have been added... or not, since they're "quirks" of old YBA). For a few examples, double barraging is still a thing. You can barrage the same person someone else is and do even more damage (which is especially frustrating for things like SBR or just messing around in main game. 2v2s I wouldn't mind this in.) GER's RTZ lets you instantly barrage (and is also generally way more unbalanced imo). SCR... I don't think I need to touch SCR considering they didn't remove the damage cap on Conqueror's Will. I could go on, but this is the stuff old YBA players wanted back so who am I to judge I suppose? And finally, even IF Uzu had completely given up on YBA, it'd be nice if the devs actually waited for him to *say* that or for him to not update in a longer time. I agree that I don't think YBA will be around much longer, but that state of mind is jumping the gun.

I just happened to have this footage on me, and used it since it’s modern YBA footage. The footage I choose in the background does not invalidate my argument, in fact I could leave the screen blank with no footage and my argument is still the same. Hell, I could choose my video to be a podcast and the argument is still the same. The footage is just meant to fill the screen, rather than be boring and blank. The footage isn’t being used as evidence. 5:04 - The reason I recommended Eclipse was for his videos about YBA’s balancing, not about YBA:L. I don’t agree with his opinion on YBA:L, and a lot of his commenters don’t agree too. Again, the background footage isn’t evidence, and it isn’t me recommending those specific videos, and I actually included this line because of Eclipse’s video on the vampire rework when it came out. 6:04 - That’s an interesting theory! I didn’t include this theory in my video because I simply saw it less likely to be true than the one in my video, and the video already was longer than I would like. I saw your theory to be less likely to be true for two reasons: Only players who are in and somewhat active in the YBA discord or YBA RUclips would know about the whole bannable thing. The majority of YBA’s community nowadays are children trading skins and screwing around in main game, too young to use discord. While this community is on RUclips.. they would most likely only have seen Eclipse’s video on the matter, in which he did not spread this misinformation. The majority of players who play YBA:L would rather play it instead of YBA. A lot of YBA:L players don’t care if they somehow do get banned from YBA, YBA:L is better anyways! As for the nostalgia goggles thing.. damn you are seriously calling current YBA better than YBA:L?? How enjoyable a game is is subjective, so I cannot completely validate your opinion.. but from what I’ve seen the majority of players agree that YBA:L has better combat. In fact, there’s a trend where players who never played YBA when it was old are playing YBA:L, and the YBA:L community are calling them “newgens”. There are players who never played old YBA that choose to play YBA:L, no nostalgia included. As for your response comment.. the script is me asking why YBA has more players, DESPITE YBA:L having better combat. I did not say what you say I did. 8:44 - That comment calling EB an ABA copy was an exaggerated statement to add humor to the script. It's not meant to be correct, and honestly if I were to remake this video, I would leave that line out. It doesn’t contribute to my argument or back anything up anyways. I was not referring to them making the rule. As for YBA:L’s plans in the future.. they are planning on only doing small balance changes and fixes once the game is up-to-date. YBA:L was not made with the goal to become a successful game or to make money. The developers made YBA:L as a passion project for old YBA, since them and many others miss when YBA was better. YBA:L devs simply do not care about how much traction their game gets. I can see the YBA:L developers make their own project in the future and trying to make it a popular game, but that’s not what they plan with YBA:L. I think a lot of these arguments came from misunderstanding my script. Some of this is my fault, I made this video in only a few days so it would come out before I became busy and eventually scrapped the video entirely. A reason that was brought up by Eclipse, and a bunch of other people is ethics. To them, it simply isn't ethical to take a persons original concept and re-do it, even though it may be what you really want.
I think the reason for why they aren't playing YBA: L is eclipse. He's very influential, even with his decline in viewership since his departure of yba content. It doesn't matter if most people in the comments are giving him shit about it, most of the people who watched that video are going to take what he's saying to heart and not play the game. Honestly, i don't really care too much about old yba being back, we need other original games, not just the same game but emulated into being slightly better.

Emulation allows players to play older versions of games that aren’t on the market anymore, just like how old YBA isn’t playable anymore.
It forces companies like Nintendo to either make their older games more accessible or make products better than the old one (competition). It forces the company to make better products than the previous one, or players will just play the previous product. Case in point, how YBA:L is being played since the older version is better than the current product.

If the YBA staff wasn't corrupt and acted upon its community over very minor rules which lead to punishments like bans, I wouldn't have issues with either version of the game. Only reason why I support YBA:L over the original version is the corrupt staff, which banned me because I forgot my other discord account (which I had lost) was banned for "misuse in the trading channel" 💀💀💀
Overall, I would probably support YBA:L more regardless for nostalgia, and that the original YBA game can't recreate due to its mass reworks on everything they possibly plan on.
(AUT was mentioned in the video, and all I gotta say is AUT was the game that brought me into JJBA as a whole, and I still play it regardless just for the fun of it, not specifically for the grind)

personally I got into jojo games via ABD and for YBA (which was sub surfacing as the new JoJo meta) I played that only to realize it just gets worse from here like depression so I switched to old AUT where I just afk for cursed orbs and Shinigami stand and stuff it wasn't half bad but I went to modded ABD to restore nostalgia back to ABD which got worse and worse to the point where the game just died and yba and AUT being overall a downward spiral I just quit the JoJo genre altogether because it is INFACT no way shape or form will feel like its old self and even then itself was pure asscheeks for a game

this video is pretty dumb, sure, beying able to read and redo old YBA code is a feat, but its like saying that someone remaking Minecraft with the same source code, but changing it so you don't have to wait to swing again, makes it any good, its still stolen code, and also , saying they make updates 17 times faster than YBA is very dumb, because even though I don't think uzu really cared, they still had to come up with NEW content, example: if i re-recorded the sonic movie, but used the old ugly model instead, it wouldn't mean i made anything new, the movie script was already done, the story, the voice acting, all i did was change a few details, i didn't have to come up with the content of it.
TL;DR; the reason YBA:L seems so much better, is because YBA already made 97% of it, the small QOL features don't make up for the fact there ARE stolen assets in the game

I dunno man... Even if they're updating the game and improving it, the base of the game isn't theirs. I agree that old YBA and YBA:L are better than current day YBA in terms of the game itself but I can't endorse stealing code and assets like that... You could also say that they're riding on YBA's success by using their name which is also underhanded if you ask me.
YBA:L is more like a non-profit project rather than an actual competitor. The game doesn't make any money and there's no way we could get a better version of YBA without the game taking some of YBA's playerbase. However, if YBA wants to actually improve they are gonna have to start treating YBA:L like a competitor

Forewarning here before you say "not reading all at" or whatever, this is a MAJOR yap session. My TL;DR is that I heavily disagree with this video because I see the points and evidence here as being poorly constructed. Read if you want to, but I'm only going to respond to civil counterarguments here.
4:38 - Explains how YBA players need TOD combos to win, proceeds to show the exact opposite with Star Platinum players in neutral.
5:04 - Recommends Eclipse for an opinion of YBA's new reworks... while also showing his video explaining why he doesn't like YBA:L.
6:04 - The players aren't there because they're afraid they will get banned for playing the game (which currently isn't true, you only get banned in-game if you supported YBA:L in any monetary way). And also, it's pretty clear that not everyone wants to go back to the old version. There's so many balance changes that are in the current YBA that are missing from YBA:L. It's a matter of having nostalgia goggles which many players either don't have or can see clearly through.
8:44 - Eternal Battlegrounds is not an ABA copy, it has completely different combat and isn't even being worked on by the same team as YBA. Think of it more like Skyrift (very niche game) or Deepwoken combat. Uzu isn't abandoning YBA, he's just working on something else because he's tired of focusing on YBA all the time (at least that's how I'd imagine a dev working on a single project for 5 years would feel).
9:12 - YBA:L RUclipsrs are being banned because the game does steal assets from YBA. Making content or supporting games that use stolen assets leads to a ban, this has been in the rules for over a year now.
9:43 - Competition? Really? If someone stole one of your videos word for word, slightly edited the script to be more engaging, and then still used your original footage, would you take that as a sign you need to do better? No, you'd strike that person for stealing your video. That's the same idea going on here. This is why games INSPIRED by YBA (such as TCA, Roblox is Unbreakable, ect.) are being left alone, whereas games like YBA:L or YBA:NU are not.
Also, be completely honest. What are the YBA:L devs going to do once they finish "re-creating" all of YBA's stands and specs? Even if they had to go through so much effort just to make all of this work, they're literally only copying old YBA. At this point, the devs should just reuse this code for something new and fresh similar to TCA. Hell, I bet they'd get way more traction that way by actually having original ideas while keeping the combat INSPIRED (rather than stolen as it is now) from YBA.
Before I begin, your first two "counterarguments" are invalid; they only nitpick at the video.

Have you not paid any attention to the game *at all?* If you did, or even played YBA:L, you would realize how much more balanced it is compared to the current YBA. Ignorance is your worst enemy in your entire argument.
8:44 Not much to say for a rebuttal as I don't know much about EBG and don't care for it at all. However, Uzu is most definitely abandoning YBA in pursuit of EBG. The reasons are as follows:
1. The code is completely fresh, and will be smoother than YBA's framework
2. The game is easily marketable due to its large variety of characters from various franchises
3. It has the battlegrounds aesthetic to it, which has been a trend on ROBLOX for quite some time now.
In the end, it's very clear that Uzu has lost motivation for YBA entirely. Although I don't fully remember what he said regarding his comparisons between EBG and YBA, it's very clear that he most likely no longer enjoys working on YBA and wants to branch out to more animes, assisted by EBG's diversity. Uzu has also always been quiet regarding YBA, and he hasnt said antthing about it since EBG, and we also haven't gotten a single patch since the SF rework, signifying that he probably doesn't even care anymore. 9:43 What does this even mean? What's your point here? There is no counterargument at all. You're merely just comparing completely contrasting things with each other. Roblox is Unbreakable and That Crazy Adventure are insanely different from one another, and they share almost nothing with YBA as well. They may be inspired, but YBA:L and YBA:NU are both meant to be copies. I don't know much about NU, but YBA:L introduces what would happen if Uzu didn't cause the downfall of his own game. What if Uzu cared for his game and actively engaged with his community? What if Uzu updated frequently? Those are questions that nobody will ever know, and they'll simply stay as what-ifs. In a sense, striking somebody for stealing your footage and making a slightly better product of it is simply by choice. Some people would see it as competition, as somebody else made their own video better than the original. It is *actual* competition because they are using your own things *against* you, and showing how it could have been done better.
Now, your final paragraph is just downright pointless. If you paid attention to YBA:L, (there is a must-read channel in which I yapped my heart out to explain the entirety of the game's future) you would have your answers shown right off the bat. However, since you probably won't even after this reply, here's what you're missing:
1. Well duh, this is meant to be a LITERAL RECREATION of old YBA. Please refrain from being a broken record.
2. Reuse this code and make a fresh product, and using *TCA* as an example? Hell no. The code is horrendous, and the game is extremely unoptimized. (Also quick thing to note, it's YBA:AU code, which is different from the actual YBA) Most of the time is spent fixing bugs and attempting to polish performance and the code as a whole. And yet, even then, the code would still be unfit for a fresh product. This game is not, and never will move on to be its own "original" game. It is a relic of YBA, but with changes made to make it BETTER. Turning a game MADE to replicate old YBA into an "original" game will not gain traction whatsoever. TCA and RIU are both examples that you have brought up, both of which have failed to gain traction and have had diminishing player counts since their release. I'm sorry, but YBA will forever be the most popular jojo game on ROBLOX. AUT has slowly been killing itself, similarly to YBA, and other games like Sakura Stand and World of Stands are just drastically different. I'm not even sure if Uzu could make his 3rd attempted comeback and save YBA and ROBLOX jojo as a whole, as even jojo is losing traction without the release of Part 7.
Anyways, just please pay attention and do proper research before your rambles. It sometimes hurts to see people who are misinformed, and I promise that I'm not trying to look down on you in any sort of way. I'll gladly hear out to what you have to say, but PLEASE read what I said in the must-read channel of the YBA:L discord server. It quite literally sets out the game's legacy.

Secondly, yes, I have looked at YBA:L (on an alternate account with no premium so I don't give the devs money lol) and I have to say, there's quite a lot that's still missing (or at least when I played it, these might have been added... or not, since they're "quirks" of old YBA). For a few examples, double barraging is still a thing. You can barrage the same person someone else is and do even more damage (which is especially frustrating for things like SBR or just messing around in main game. 2v2s I wouldn't mind this in.) GER's RTZ lets you instantly barrage (and is also generally way more unbalanced imo). SCR... I don't think I need to touch SCR considering they didn't remove the damage cap on Conqueror's Will. I could go on, but this is the stuff old YBA players wanted back so who am I to judge I suppose?
And finally, even IF Uzu had completely given up on YBA, it'd be nice if the devs actually waited for him to *say* that or for him to not update in a longer time. I agree that I don't think YBA will be around much longer, but that state of mind is jumping the gun.

I don’t normally respond to long comments like this so sorry if this isn’t well worded.
4:38 - I picked this background footage because I don’t want to bother trying to play YBA, the game is so unbearable for me I don’t even want to get footage. I just happened to have this footage on me, and used it since it’s modern YBA footage. The footage I choose in the background does not invalidate my argument, in fact I could leave the screen blank with no footage and my argument is still the same. Hell, I could choose my video to be a podcast and the argument is still the same. The footage is just meant to fill the screen, rather than be boring and blank. The footage isn’t being used as evidence.
5:04 - The reason I recommended Eclipse was for his videos about YBA’s balancing, not about YBA:L. I don’t agree with his opinion on YBA:L, and a lot of his commenters don’t agree too. Again, the background footage isn’t evidence, and it isn’t me recommending those specific videos, and I actually included this line because of Eclipse’s video on the vampire rework when it came out.
6:04 - That’s an interesting theory! I didn’t include this theory in my video because I simply saw it less likely to be true than the one in my video, and the video already was longer than I would like. I saw your theory to be less likely to be true for two reasons:
Only players who are in and somewhat active in the YBA discord or YBA RUclips would know about the whole bannable thing. The majority of YBA’s community nowadays are children trading skins and screwing around in main game, too young to use discord. While this community is on RUclips.. they would most likely only have seen Eclipse’s video on the matter, in which he did not spread this misinformation.
The majority of players who play YBA:L would rather play it instead of YBA. A lot of YBA:L players don’t care if they somehow do get banned from YBA, YBA:L is better anyways!
As for the nostalgia goggles thing.. damn you are seriously calling current YBA better than YBA:L?? How enjoyable a game is is subjective, so I cannot completely validate your opinion.. but from what I’ve seen the majority of players agree that YBA:L has better combat. In fact, there’s a trend where players who never played YBA when it was old are playing YBA:L, and the YBA:L community are calling them “newgens”. There are players who never played old YBA that choose to play YBA:L, no nostalgia included.
As for your response comment.. the script is me asking why YBA has more players, DESPITE YBA:L having better combat. I did not say what you say I did.
8:44 - That comment calling EB an ABA copy was an exaggerated statement to add humor to the script. It's not meant to be correct, and honestly if I were to remake this video, I would leave that line out. It doesn’t contribute to my argument or back anything up anyways. However, you can’t deny that EB and ABA are very similar. They share a similar or in some cases identical art style, gameplay loop, characters, and target audience. It would be more correct to call the games very close competitors.
9:12 - My point still stands. YBA:L is being sabotaged by YBA through this rule, even if the rule was made a year ago. This rule is preventing YBA:L from gaining players through promotion on RUclips.
I think what you are trying to say is that I’m saying that this rule was made in response to YBA:L. I can see why people think I am implying this, because I proceed to talk about “YBA purposefully sabotaging YBA:L.” This was a statement I left vague, because I did not want to mention the actions paragon has done.. because that’s a whole different clown show.

As for YBA:L’s plans in the future.. they are planning on only doing small balance changes and fixes once the game is up-to-date. YBA:L was not made with the goal to become a successful game or to make money. The developers made YBA:L as a passion project for old YBA, since them and many others miss when YBA was better. YBA:L devs simply do not care about how much traction their game gets. I can see the YBA:L developers make their own project in the future and trying to make it a popular game, but that’s not what they plan with YBA:L.
