I can't believe I have to type this out..... Paragon has told me on countless occasions NOT to make video's on stolen games. Their stance is that any publicity is good publicity, and if it brings any more people to the game, it's technically promotion, and I'm responsible. If I'm deemed to be promoting the game, I get permanently banned from YBA. That doesn't sound like them asking me to do a video on this game now does it? Do you guys REALLY THINK that I got on here to defend a game I actively don't play, and am pissed at? Don't you think it'd make more sense for me to come out with a video saying "COME PLAY THIS GAME TO TAKE YBA'S MONEY!!!!!" But I didn't do that, because unlike a lot of the brainless 12 year olds in this comments section, I have morals, and self respect. Maybe give that a try...
Eclipse that doesn’t matter this game devs actually listen instead of Uzu ofc it’s going big and they literally said in the desc based off of yba you never called nu out so why start now
Eclipse blink twice if the YBA devs are holding you at gunpoint forcing you to make this (P.S those of you too mentally slow to understand this is a joke, i do not feel sorry for you)
they aren't forcing him or telling him to do anything, it's just what he personally thinks is right to do. also he literally said in the beginning of the video that he didn't care about YBA anymore.
If they do that the new yba will lose tons of players and its alr on life supports and not to mention the mods and parafraud's ego it's to high for them to put old yba back
now i want you to explain to me, why would he make an old version of his game? he and his team worked hard to make the new map and stands, so just returning back would be nonsense
@@jotarokujo6956 your completely right on that front, but consider the fact that the YBA community is leaving the game because of the new changes made. Paragon actually made a poll today asking if the community wanted to remove some spec moves, and so far it’s a 3:1 yes ratio. The game is completely different, it wasn’t what it was before. Let’s say Uzu won’t create another Old YBA game, as yeah it’s not likely. At least making changes to the game to bring it back to its former glory would be better than what we have now.
Still more fun than the actual game. It's essentially a message to UzuKee and the team. They have constantly ignored the community's wishes to revert back to the old versions and completely rid the game of most of the things that have ruined the game (every single rework and spec rework). Not to mention the CM of the game, treating every player like an infant as if they know nothing about what would help the game and what wouldn't. And with the recent allegations and clear proof of the vile things he's done, safe to say that this compares to nothing he has done
All of this could've been prevented if: 1.) Uzukee and the developer team stopped making poor choices after the heaven update of 2021. 2.) Kept his motivation to keep updating instead of working on another seperate game. 3.) Back to reason 1 and 2.
nah it was immediately after heaven, the game was still fun honestly till early skin then it died. like around when RHCP was added was the true beginning of the end
This comment would have been prevented if: 1) You understand how detrimental making code is and how stealing it is morally and legally wrong 2) You're cheering on a game that just wants attention and if the develpors truely cared they would make a game similar to YBA just like what TCA did
Is everyone forgetting that NOT ONLY is YBA profiting and developed based on an an IP they don't own: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, But the game YBA itself was originally stolen from the in-dev Roblox game StandVerse over 3 years ago when Uzukee quit that game and took all the assets he was payed for to make YBA. YBA is rotten to the core from its very origins to the staff, to the owner himself. Taking down copies of a game that is a copy is hypocritical at best, and comically greedy at worst, especially when they don't even work on their own game.
Yeah hardcore denouncing any roblox game that copies another is a bit of an eye roll because just about every roblox game is stolen property at it's core, especially when that obvious fact is never acknowledged.
I think you’re greatly misinformed/ignorant on how this game was developed + the thought process behind doing so. While I’m not going to comment on your ethics on “stolen” games because that is a very valid and noble opinion to have, this game is not completely stolen, nor is it keeping the money they make from premium payouts (aka the mysterious method of their money obtainment that you didn’t bother to explain). Retracted has recreated several aspects of the game by himself, which is why many of the things in this game are not present as of now. He spent two weeks recreating the SBR map, the storyline and refining the old code of it to the best of his ability. Clearly, it paid off because of this video’s ignorance to really understand the development process but I’m not going to fault you for that. Not everything is stolen. Sure, bits and pieces of it are “stolen”, but for the most part this is a passion project. All of the robux he’s made from this project has been given back to the community through several events and giveaways, so they’re not keeping it for themselves. Mods don’t get paid, everything goes back to the players. Your point on them stealing money from YBA is fair, but at the same time it is almost entirely their fault that nobody wants to play their dogshit, especially when they ignore their community. Uzukee also did not create JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, so by your logic he’s stealing money from Hirohiko Araki. This is supply and demand being delivered when it has been asked by for the community for the last year, and some point it was going to be delivered by somebody other than them whether you agree with it or not. How do you even know they haven’t given up on YBA yet (or at least lost most motivation to continue developing it)? Because Uzu said he wasn’t? You don’t even believe that because of your comment on his EBG trailer, so I don’t understand this thought process. I really wish you had just done more research on this before making misinformed, ignorant statements to your audience on something you have barely taken the time to look into. This is not made out of spite for the original game, or to profit off of it, this is simply a place to enjoy what we’ve lost and yearned for since 2021.
creating a fan project based on a manga/anime you like is way different to completely stealing a game (replicating the same shit they did does also count as stealing)
Yeah, it's essentially theft. Fun, though. Edit: Alright, finished the video. Well, I'm gonna level with you here, I do not play the normal YBA anymore. It's not fun. I don't play TCA because it doesn't have the stand variety I like. I don't play AUT because it became a gacha game. I wanted roblox jojo like it was before and this game delivered. I wasn't gonna be giving money to the YBA devs anyways, so I might as well direct myself elsewhere. I don't think the game being stolen will dissuade me from playing. I consider it akin to piracy - it's wrong, but I can't take it seriously.
90% of the ppl playing ybal wouldn't play yba in the first place , and the premium money they get is given back to the community trough giveaways . It's thievery but I couldn't care less since it doesn't have an actual impact ok yba . Eclipse missed with this one
I dont understand how making money on roblox works but yba legacy doesnt have any gamepasses or currency meaning they dont earn money from it, the premium payouts are given back to the community in giveaways. Plus, the people who play yba legacy are the ones who quit yba long long ago or got banned. Of course, stealing assets is wrong but the developer wants the ogs to experience the same old yba because Uzu doesn’t care. Just my opinion on this
@@Elrixly_ nah i play the legacy because the game was honestly better back then. And a lot of the older players can support me here, the old game was indeed better. The yba team should create a legacy mode or smth ngl that would be fire
All roads lead to piracy, YBA Legacy is fundamentally an issue with Uzukee, not one with the community. Uzukee could release a 2021 build of the actual YBA and it would probably take him 15 minutes and it would double his revenue. YBA Legacy is not intended to last forever, it is going to die, YBA Legacy is a message.
@@LucySteel-of2td You really shouldn't take your king eclipse's words at face value, the developer of YBA:L has made it explicitly clear multiple times that the game will not include any new content and it will be exclusively content from 2021 yba, nothing more.
@@LucySteel-of2td I don't see an issue honestly, some people just wanna play old YBA. I personally enjoyed old YBA more, plus it wouldn't take much effort for Uzu to just drop a legacy version of YBA
The argument that the game is morally wrong personally falls flat to me because I feel like uzukee has constantly ignored his community. I don't feel bad about stealing from Uzukee because I feel like he's constantly lied to me. When I play YBA:L I feel like I'm exercising a form of civil disobedience. I'm not happy with the current treatment of YBA: Why shouldn't I go elsewhere? Theseus's ship: If the YBA:L developers rebuilt old YBA from the ground up, everything worked exactly the same, and whatever else... that'd still make it a copy of YBA? What's the difference? I guess the intent? I don't care that I'm taking money from Uzukee. Eat the rich. I feel like my trust has been constantly exploited by the YBA developer team. I feel like the updates we get in YBA are not the updates that YBA needs in the longrun. YBA:L has the old map, old specs, and pre-rework stands. That's what I loved about the game. Where do I go in the new version of YBA if I want any of those? Why should I, personally, have to digest the slop Uzukee puts on my plate? You're free to not like the game. I just couldn't care that I'm taking money from who I believe to be some bad people. I don't think Paragon, Uzukee, and whoever else on that staff team are people I care that are losing out on money. Is it stolen? Oh. DEFINITELY! I just am numb to that fact; I literally don't care. Maybe if the developers, staff, and owners treated this community better I'd be against it too.
also the arguement that they are stealing from Uzukee by taking players aways falls almost COMPLETELY flat, bc basically no one who is playing it now would be playing normal YBA if LYBA didnt exist, they would be playing something else, bc normal YBA rn is just awful and we want things to go back to the way they were before.
Even if the devs betrayed the trust of the community, it doesn’t justify shit. Instead of defending a stolen work, just leave the past behind and search for something else that you can enjoy
@@IsmaelQuinto732 oh you are totally free to do that i have no problem with people who do and dont defend the work i see why they wouldnt im just gonna play something i enjoyed anyway though it doesnt make a difference if its moral or not to me if its fun im going to play it
Don't know if you will ever see or read this Eclipse, but as someone who has been a sub for years I think I can reasonably explain why most people like myself have dropped actual YBA completely for YBA Legacy. I'm not trying to (or do I believe I will) make you agree with any of the reasons players like me have done this, but maybe this will give you a more clear understanding without it coming from someone who is raging in your comment section spamming you with personal insults. After the past year of Uzu, it just feels as if he lacks any care for YBA anymore. Recent updates have either been blatant cashgrabs with nothing but skins and 0 balance changes, or the content that we DID get absolutely nuked the games balance and still to this day hasn't been balanced after being in the game for MONTHS. Many players like myself stopped playing YBA completely after the spec reworks. The game just wasn't fun anymore, and trying to play the game against "good" players was overall terrible because of the button mashing and spec ult meta. I only got back into "YBA" when I saw YBA Legacy was getting popular at the beggining of this year. I played the game myself with all of my friends, and thanks to the absence of the stupid "rker" changes in actual YBA you can have insane amounts of fun. You can hit people while they are being barraged, and you can even stack barrages. All changes that were removed from the actual game because of people being "rk'd" in public lobbys. It makes team fights feel like actual TEAM fights and not just 3 people all having 1v1's at the same time because of not being able to team combo with barrages. Out of all of this, even if you absolutely hate YBA:L I think there is something you can take from it. YBA:L is a show of how many dedicated players are fed up with how garbage the state of actual YBA is in, to the point that they will resort to playing a rip of it. If Uzu doesn't want to put effort into getting those players back by focusing on improving YBA instead of Cashgrab battlegrounds, then they won't come back. We will gladly play a ripoff of a game, if the dev of the actual game only cares about cashing in on the recent trend. If money is all he cares about, then we are glad he isn't getting ours by playing a corpse of a game he refuses to develop. Maybe my absolute spite for Uzu is showing a little too hard here, but I honestly could care less at this point. I think it's hilarious that Uzu and Paragon will bitch and whine about losing players to a rip of their own game, yet won't talk about why it's happening. If you are going to put 0 effort into your game and then focus towards blatant cashgrab efforts like Eternal, then don't whine when your playerbase gets tired of being constantly being shit on by you and punches you back by leaving your own game, and then playing a rip of it. The release of the Eternal Battle Grounds trailer felt like a blatant "Fuck You" from Uzu to all of us players who have been with YBA so long, mainly because Paragon himself stated in a stage VC that it's development was the entire reason the SF update was so garbage. As a playerbase you can only get shit on by a dev so much before you start to shit on them back. We've finally reached that point as a community. As of the time of posting this comment about 20% of YBA's playerbase (1.8k on YBA:L vs 7.3 on actual YBA) is playing YBA:L, and the drama around it only makes the game further siphon players from the actual game.
I kinda disagree with the ability to attack someone in a barrage. Like yeah its fine when its a team vs team. But it usually gets used only team vs one guy to just butcher him.
@@Uranatis Tldr; The fact that Legacy is pulling so many players speaks volumes to how shit and greedy of a dev Uzu is, along with how upset a lot of the playerbase is about the game's current condition. Also it's pretty funny (and hypocritical) to see someone who brings up "morals" against YBA:L and how stealing is wrong when they blatantly ROM'd Eyes of Heaven so they could make a YT vid about it.
I agree with you on stealing assets from games, but I think uzu and the yba team is so bad that it’s like watching a bad person get robbed, like why would I care? I’d say I even support it
Uzu and his team have been lining their pockets with gps for years (eg. excuses about spec storage being "unfinished" and stand rolls) i literally couldn't care less about stealing money from him
I agree that it's stolen and I know you said there's nothing to say. But I think the reason people play it is because this is the game we loved. YBA isn't that game anymore.
the "stealing money from yba" point made in this video implies that if yba legacy suddenly disappeared yba would instantly gain all of it's players when in reality like 80% of the yba legacy playerbase are old players that didnt play anymore/banned users
It’s clear that Eclipse hasn’t done his research when he claims that the developers make premium payouts. For those who aren’t aware, the game’s owner stated in the Discord server that he would disable premium payouts if he could. However, since he can’t, he uses all the premium payouts for giveaways. Regarding the issue of “stealing” money from YBA, I don’t believe the YBA developers deserve any money. They’ve abandoned their player base and haven’t implemented the changes we truly want. Typically, if a game studio makes a mistake that the player base dislikes, they revert the change. But the YBA team doesn’t do that. Instead, we’re left to suffer, so I don’t think they deserve the player base’s money.
also, it wouldnt steal money from YBA, cuz most people playing YBAL do it because its actually fun unlike YBA now, if YBAL didnt exist they most likely wouldnt be playing YBA cuz they are almost 2 entirely different games except for the story.
It doesn't matter if you believe whether YBA Devs deserve money or not, they did put efforts into their game, they made it themselves with time, making this game is their job, they deserve the money even if they don't listen to the player base Anyways why did you make it sound so deep lmao, "we're left to suffer", just quit the game instead of suffering 😂
So because they said they give all of it away and do giveaways, you think they give away ALL of the money that make? They 100% are keeping atleast SOME of the money they’re making and that is basically considered stealing money from YBA due to the devs literally stealing yba’s code and models just to profit off of work they barely put in💀. And the YBA devs somehow someway don’t deserve the money they get simply because they don’t give us what we want? That’s just beyond goofy.
Just wait until armisael6965 finds out emulation is different than stealing a game for your own benefit and releasing it on the same platform as the og game
@@LucySteel-of2td how exactly is it different? They both steal money from the original in some way. Why not just buy the console needed to play the original game? People don't want to pay money for it that's why. Why not play the "original" YBA? People want to have fun playing what they used to play before that's why. What do you think is worse? The devs said it tries it's best to be a non profit and donate or gift away any premium payouts they get. What does an emulator do? Take donations to better improve their engine that they use to play pirated games. Both are illegal, both improve the quality of the game in some way, and both steal money from the original creators.
as a mod to this game, i can confirm we do not get any profits i have not been payed a single penny and neither has the other devs, we're simply doing this for fun and to let people play the once left behind game we always loved
honestly eclipse we dont give a shit, we will play it regardless, uzu can get away with not giving a shit about the community for years but when we do it once??? (btw anarchyknook, the owner never tried justifying stealing the game, yes he stole it, what else is there to talk about?)
it's weirdly relieving to see the top commenters not agreeing with eclipse. most videos' comments tend to unanimously agree with the youtuber's point of view and seeing everyone have their own opinion on this matter is nice keep being cool eclipse comment section :]
The thing you dont understand is we dont care if its stolen. people wanna have a good time playing this "nostalgic" game and dont care who this is from and that does not mean they are dumb, that just means that they dont care and wanna have a great time
@@IsmaelQuinto732 No, they want to actually have fun playing a game instead of having to deal with op shit all the time. The one truly in ignorance is you.
@@IsmaelQuinto732 tbf tca is hard to get into right now. accessories are poorly explained (by that i mean not whatsoever) and the main storyline isn't finished, unless you look up stand and spec moves you're gonna be confused more likely than not.
He's stopping no one though? He's just voicing his opinion and saying that he ain't playing the game. If you want to play it, go ahead, absolutely no one but the YBA dev/admin team is stopping you.
YBA: Legacy is stolen, I will not argue that. But maybe, just maybe, it was deserved. The original YBA is trash now. Unbalanced, button mash-y skin grind simulator. This game is hardly turning a profit as far as I'm aware. It's simply a project meant to bring back the old, good YBA because of the abhorrent state of modern YBA. For you to get on a high horse and say "hurr durr this game is stolen it bad!11!!" is honestly just ridiculous. Honestly...shame on you, man. You should at least recognize the effort made to restore the old glory of YBA instead of condemning YBA: Legacy. These modded/stolen games get popular for a reason: The devs somehow do it better than Uzu and his team ever did. The sad truth is, Eclipse: Nobody gives a shit if the assets are taken from the original game. What people *do* care about is the fact that these games are loads more fun than modern YBA will ever be. Modded games using stolen assets will continue to thrive while YBA shrivels and dies. I didn't make this comment because I'm mad you won't play it. I couldn't care less about what you choose to play. I more or less just find it baffling how you condemn this game for being stolen. Like, yeah, no shit sherlock. It's an archival more than anything. Also, you emulated Eyes of Heaven. And likely pirated a copy of the ROM unless you somehow know how to dump ROM files off of official copies. So that's plain hypocritical at this point.
"the devs do it better" when speaking about a stolen game is insane. also, "shame on you"? unless you take his words as law its not like its illegal to play yba clone anymore
Old YBA was just a horrendously low quality, EXTREMELY UNBALANCED game with horrible quality of life. Can't say the same about new yba... I mean old yba is just new YBA but low quality and worse quality of life.
1. stealing, regardless of how incompetent the devs of the original game are, is unethical (obviously) 2. eyes of heaven was made by corporations much larger than a roblox dev team.... these don't compare, though he is at fault for pirating if that is true idk why you think "modded games using stolen assets will continue to thrive while YBA shrivels and dies" is the solution to all this. what's best is for an ORIGINAL jojo game that's better than yba to take its players granted that yba never gets its stuff together (but honestly idc about yba it's just incorrect to think that stealing is what will save roblox anime games)
@@quocbaonguyen2108DDoS stands for Daily Dose of Stupid. It's essentially a video (I think exclusive to Eclipse) that compiles a bunch of comments that have no thought put into them. It's just something to laugh at.
i personally believe this is more like abandonware, "old YBA" despite having the same name and dev team as the curent YBA is not the same game, it's a different entity that simply is unplayable nowadays, all yba legacy is doing is making it playable again, something uzu could have done but chose not to. to hammer the point home think of minecraft for instance, all versions of minecraft from pre-classic to release 1.20.2 are seperate games, something you can see very clearly as mojang puts Most versions for download to this day, imagine if they suddenly removed one of those versions, say 1.7.5 or smth, if someone else then made their own laucher with an exact STOLEN copy of that old version for people to be able to play that wouldn't be such a bad thing now would it? this i feel like is the same thing. is it illegal? absolutely. is it imoral? maybe. do i care? not at all.
And if the mods of YBA:L truly didn’t make any money (they said they turned off premium or whatever) and they didn’t lie about it yeah I would totally agree with you on this one
@@worldsandnightmares to pirate it he had to take it from someone who stole the assets of the game more than likely, not only that but there is WAYYY more effort put into a game like that, not to undermine what the devs of yba have done but they had to make their own models, code, animations, voicelines, music, and even more for that game. not only that but from my knowledge, YBA is more than likely going to abandon the game anyways because of their new game that they're making, and if not fully abandom then they'll probably work on it less because Uzukee has his eyes on smth else. also some of the devs for yba don't even deserve the money that they make from it since they're pretty bad people (paragon). not only that, but the assets that WERE stolen, are old as hell, a lot of the stuff doesn't even exist in current yba in anymore and i doubt the yba devs are even going to care to use those again, so it really has practically no impact on yba as of right now, and you could argue that it's stealing players or revenue or smth but the only way that yba:l can make money is through the roblox premium players joining (which btw gives very little robux and premium players are rare anyways) and the people who play yba:l have either probably already spent some money on yba or just don't even play yba anymore and have already completely abandoned it before the release of yba:l so it wouldn't matter, and either way yba still has so many players who are playing the game and probably paying for different kinds of things in game (like more stand slots, skin rolls, stand rolls, etc) so in terms of money they COMPLETELY have that covered.
@@worldsandnightmares again i also feel like emphasizing that piracy of a game IS stealing full assets from the game and still stealing money, and sure it's from a bigger company but also keep in mind that yba is also a LOT bigger than yba:l, which again makes very little profit and they actively try to stray from making any real profits from it (they can't disable the robux they get from premium players) yba:l currently has a pretty small community compared to actual yba, and it's more than likely going to stay that way due to the fact that there's more than likely many smaller children playing yba
Dear Eclipse, this is probably going to get me into a DDOS, but I think it’s fair to let my stance be heard. Let’s disregard the other comments who have pointed out how you haven’t researched, and that they giveaway the robux made from premium payouts etc. etc. The truth is, I’m sorry Eclipse that we aren’t as noble as you, and I don’t mean that sarcastically. Programming a game is very hard; I respect that, but the YBA developers have constantly milked Yba as their golden cash cow and constantly abandoned the community countless times. This is coming from someone who started playing at the very start as well, (maybe even before you,) so I can absolutely vouch that the developers have been getting lazy. It’s wrong to steal, but I and probably many others in the community simply don’t feel any empathy towards the developers. Think like if a murderer is hit by a car, and I know that’s a completely different situation, but my point is, both sides aren’t right. Sure, legacy is stolen, but it’s also the developers neglect that led to this. I genuinely applaud you for being noble enough to side with the developers because stealing is wrong, but I (and probably many others,) simply do not care anymore after how greedy they got. Additionally, I respect you for making a video and speaking out, but insulting your fans and being hostile only adds oil to the fire. You constantly argue about the morality of stealing, and you’re right, but so is everyone on the other side who say the Yba developers had this coming to them. Both of these arguments are valid, so I don’t understand the purpose of this video besides creating more drama and attention. Once again though, I respect your opinion. If this gets me on a DDOS, so be it.
All though I do agree with what Eclipse says, and in fact, I fully understand that supporting those games is bad, I do think it's good that uzu gets a faceslap in the face. I kind of see YBA:L as a wakeup call for Uzu. The community is screaming for a change, and that's why this game was born. And yes, it's not fine that they stole those assets, but I do hope YBA sees this as a wake-up call. That's my honest opinion.
In my opinion, I think that if these random people can reupload and steal the code for old yba in a mostly completed state Uzu could absolutely have done the same thing, and have made more money off of it. But he hasn't made a single attempt to. If a non roblox game, like Terraria, made their old versions (like the old console/mobile versions) unplayable, and people uploaded the files to them so people you download them and play them, I feel like a lot less people would call that immoral. Even though, they'd still be making passive income from Ads on whatever website they upload them to, like how YBA Legacy gets money from Premium payouts. But thats just my opinion, maybe it'll change, anyways see you in DDOS.
Nobody would play old terraria though since terraria never misses with their updates. And if you want to have the old console content play consolaria mod (you still have to buy terraria)
@@daniiii888 Terraria was just an example, this applies to many more games. There are many people who do enjoy going back to play old versions of games, as proven by the many videos documenting things like 3DS Terraria and the Alpha's and Betas of minecraft. If those old versions aren't made publicly available (like the 3ds version now) the only way to play them would be either getting a physical copy or piracy.
Ok seems like ur a bit confused but tbh I kinda see your point, the problem is imagine if the other terraria was also on Steam like the OG, it would drive traffic to a stolen game which causes problem for the people who made the game
Hi Eclipse! I really loved when you totally legitimately played Eyes of Heaven, and totally didn’t pirate it or anything! Is YBA:L where you draw the line at stolen content?
I don’t understand the hypocrisy of YBA staff banning people who make copies of their game or make videos on the stolen games when YBA ITSELF IS UNLICENSED AND STEALS ASSETS FROM JOJO BIZARRE ADVENTURE. How are they trying to ‘copyright’ a game that’s basically made around copyright infringement.
they did work on the game themselves and made their own assets and coding in Roblox studio/blender. (I don't like uzu and the devs and allat but I'm just pointing this out.)
Paragon has also not been so much of your superior god as well, let's keep in fact that he's a grown man doing weird shit online. Not normal average laughter stuff but WEIRD out of the blue stuff.
Love how eclipse's script is evidently struggling to not be defending neither of them for his own bias, which yeah it really is a hard situation, now the part that I cared the most on the entire video: Its stupid, it might be stealing (although its more of a good old copy lock, since it doesn't bring anything new other than custom fixes so the old copy can keep up with the modern roblox glitchy updates and some stuff to make the game more sandboxy than a serious yba stolen copy) but its what ironically eclipse wanted deep down when complaining for the current state of yba and many old players also wanted to have, no one wants a homage like tca kind off (with its own spin) ended up being, but quite literally going back to the good old yba versions and there you go, because uzu wont ever bother plus it would be another yba his community wants him to care about when he already stopped caring about the original yba at all, about premium well, that is roblox premium there is no way to avoid it. Case and point eclipse is legally and personally obligated to not approve both things currently but just talking about it means that is promoting the legacy game, probably wont get banned unless pedogon woke uo boasting ego and decided to do something villanous and even go and brag that yba could've done "better" without eclipse whinning about their decisions (they never could have done not even anything without eclipse complaining years ago).
Theres a way to avoid premium payouts and its by making your game locked access / invite only through group and vouch. That was a stupid point, and even if they did still get premium payouts they should be actively sending it to the devs of YBA, not ignoring it. This comment is braindead
@@DoneThatSeenThat I dont think your comment is braindead tho, you bring a good point, that would've been a possibility if the game didn't blow up in number from what the owner of this 2021 copylock says, he also probably never intended the copylock to be a private experience or a group thing, obviously it would been better if they used a group or invite only system, but not everyone thinks the same way of a solution, they still hold giveaways of robux using those unwanted payouts, which from someone who used to never have robux that seems like a nice idea (now I do and don't need to care about giveaways of robux), about paying back the devs maybe with how pedogon and others handled the situation and with uzukee being in the 4th dimension or something, I guess the owner of the copylock thought donating the robux to random players through giveaways was a better solution based on the looks of that situation.
Weird honestly, uzu´s already made millions off yba and clearly moved on to another cashcow battlegrounds souless game. people just want an old version of a already existing game id get your point if you were able to turn off payouts, but you literally cant , took 1 google search. "well just dont copy a game moron and code your own" i think thats not what their objective is, even if they did program, make models and maps of their own, replicating the same "old yba" feeling would be near impossible. im studying and trying to learn how to program myself, and game deving is a pain and stealing code from hardworking devs is just wrong. but if those devs BARELY give a flying f anymore, and all they do is update their game every 9 months with the minimum amount of content. i dont see that much wrong with it. i find it hard to support uzukee here based on how little work he puts into this, but i respect your opinion nonetheless.
I really don't care at this point, whether uzukee makes money or not as he basically ruined his own game. For the first time in like a year, I had more fun playing YBA, except it wasn't YBA it was YBA legacy.
I think people forgot YBA is profiting off JJBA, no one is right here, YBA nor YBA:L, but I think it's hypocritical for YBA to say anything about YBA:L, they both are doing the same thing.
I just don't get comepletely where ur coming from. It is a stolen game and they are missing out on money but it isn't all about money. Old yba was great and they worked hard to do it. They did it for the people that miss the game. If they aren't playing yba in the first place than why not make a game that has them go back to the better of it.
Hes using THE WORLD to block his name,so THE WORLD wont know his roblox alt name,or someone in THE WORLD will try to annoy him or something. and he's using THE WORLD in this background tca video.
YBA: Everythings they add (when they actually add) is broken. You can't play a 1v1 / SBR without suffering war crimes from new stands. YBA L: YBA before that problem.
the usual "play this one, we'll ban you in the actual game" usually works for something like NU or AU, but the thing that makes YBA:L a special case is the fact that the people who play YBA:L are either 1) banned from the game to begin with 2) hate current yba 3) people who dont care that its stolen assets
We all know Paragon paid you to say this, and scarcely anyone plays the new YBA. People prefer the old YBA because it's genuinely enjoyable. No one appreciates this new subpar content, which is why, even if it gets deleted, nobody will return to play YBA. The Legacy version has more features too; you don't have to pay for stand storage or spec storage, and there was no need for 5 worthiness for requiem. It's more fun. Plus, YBA doesn't even get updated anymore. One year for a Sticky Fingers update - it's clear that Uzukee doesn't care about his game and players. YBAL, however, will get quality-of-life updates and new stands but with the charm of old YBA.
i respectfully disagree i completely understand why you cant make videos on it, but you're trashing on this game, when a simple 'hey guys, i cant play this' on your community tab or discord would've sufficed. its preservation, something for old players to play and experience something that they cant anymore, like fortnite's 'og' mode, (hell, even though fortnite is an ongoing service of a game, there's still dedicated clients for it that emulate the old launcher and mechanics) i think having access to these things and preserving them is a necessity if people want to relive those memories, especially if they're not happy with the current game. why do you think the wayback machine exists? or emulation? the countless source mods for TF2 to bring it back to its 2007 state? it's a time capsule, of course its the same game as YBA back in the day and yes, it's fair that the YBA devs are upset, but i genuinely do not think that this game was made out of malice or 'spite' it's something for people who want to relive those memories they hold dear feel free to disagree with me, but i dont see how this is a problem for MOST people, i see why the devs don't want YOU playing it, but if people are having fun at the end of the day, who cares? uzu and his staff have already made beaucoup bucks from YBA, most of the people playing YBA legacy have no intention of playing the modern game anyways since thats why legacy exists. a small fan project is not effect their bottom line.
This is kind of their own doing for abandoning a game AND LYING about keeping yba updates open while working on their sh*tty battlegrounds game n uzu has not paid attention even though he said he would. the games a message to them n not you.
From a developers perspective; YBA’s approach towards stolen games is extremely childish and doesn’t really handle it with proper care. For those who aren’t aware, Roblox actually has a DMCA feature, which allows developers to strike and remove any games that include their; scripts, assets (textures, meshes, decals), models, and sounds. This leads me to believe the YBA devs would rather resort to a petty back and forth. Either that, or Uzu and the others on the team just don’t know you can do this.
If Uzu is getting paid by the copy why take it down if it's just extra income? Since other YBA copies have been taken down by Uzu yet for this one you're just banned for making content and spreading the word of it? Sure.
GG Eclipse. Whilst i normally respect your opinion, this one just isn't it, defending groomers? thats the hill you wanna die on dude? I just expected a little better. I get you treat every commenter like an infant you feel the need to talk down to (Which is pretty evident in DDoS) but seriously? I don't even play YBA or YBA:L but considering the way YBAs devteam is? I just cant stand by and let that be ridden like crazy. YBA:L Doesn't make any money, they on purpose actively tried to cut down their monetization as little as possible, including giving funds to their community. This is a game made purely out of love for old YBA, and i respect that heavily. Especially considering they understand the community better than what current YBA devs appear to (from what i've heard at least.) It was made as a message to show the YBA devs they can't just keep getting away with the current state of the game. And *REGARDLESS* , Oh boohoo! the poor, poor YBA devs that make a ton of money daily 😢you're stealing from them! What a disaster! the groomers! don't you get it? The folk that abuse their power, post creepy messages, erp in general chat, and are general scum? oh god no! don't take the money from them! You're the bad guys, can't you see? Giving the fanbase a better game to play and a way out of supporting awful people? Disastrous! You can't do that to the poor poor millionaire roblox devs! 😢 YBAs developers don't care about the game, the fandom, or anything, they just want money, and from what i've seen, thats what separates YBA;L from YBA. This is just, kinda sad. A fall from (what already little you had) grace if anything. ( Addition; Oh yeah, didn't you ROM EoH? 🤨talkin about stealing/pirating when you're no different yourself. )
Eclipse, but weren't you the one that said "Yba is ruined because it turned into a skin gambling game and these reworks made by lazy developers just to get more money and this whole game is a cash grab" but then comment on Yba Legacy because "it copied the game and it doesn't deserve to exist and how it takes money from the original developers"
It's funny because YBA are making millions of dollars off of an IP they don't own. Stop crying mate none of the 12 year olds care the game is stolen if it's better than the original😂😂😂
the yapper never fails to yap, my brother in crist idc if the game is stolen, since ybas devs want to be assholes and not give a shit about their game I hope MORE people quit midba and go play the stolen games ONG
Does anyone else kinda find it funny how Uzu and Paragon are so angry about YBA Legacy despite the fact that they are literally making thousands of dollars off a IP they don’t own or have the rights to use?
Thanks for bringing that into attention, because now it's double stolen!!!!!!!! Also atleast Uzu and company made a game, they coded and modelled shit. The legacy devs just stole an older version of that. So lets not to go that route cuz it'd make legacy look even worse.
Well, the real reason why the are mad is because the devs of yba legacy stole their old code from older versions of the game, and for some reason they want it removed even though their current game is SOOO good and more optimized than old yba.
I wouldn't call it stealing, it's more archiving. I don't have the time right now to view the full rundown on the details, but from what I hear no monetization exists in it. If people want to play an older version, that's fine in my opinion. They aren't advertising it as anything but a legacy version.
It’s illegal archiving then, because the people behind this didn’t have permission from the original YBA dev team to use their assets. And just so you know, in the video is also stated that, if a premiun player plays this, the people behind get robux, so they are making profit whether they like it or not
@@IsmaelQuinto732 yeah, but all of that only works if you assume that people playing it would have played normal YBA if it didnt exist, reality is they probably wouldnt (cuz its shit rn), they would probably play something else, however, you can argue that its stealing from other games that arent YBA, but thats a different arguement completely. also, few people have premium so that doesnt work well as an arguement
he literally said that he didn't care about YBA anymore and if you have watched Eclipse's videos in the past you'd know that he absolutely does NOT stand for anything that's stolen
literally me when yba is making money of a manga and anime without their permission (yet paragon wants to treat yba as their own original idea and eclipse held at gunpoint to defend it
No one bats an eye to the millions of other jojo games that seem to function similarly to yba, but this one game that makes clear that it is a distinct version that recreates YBA in it's early days is considered piracy? Remind me again why the anime has to localize stand names?
yknow it wouldnt be such a big deal if uzukee listened to his community, put out updates frequently, tested the game or even had testers test the game for him, hired a dev team to fix bugs and make updates for the game. But did he do any of that? No. He ignored his community, put out an update that had less content than a deepwoken weekly patch (that also took 6 months) and made reworks to stands which were completely uncalled for. You're points are completely valid but I don't think uzukee really cares about YBA anymore, I think hes lost all passion for it after the heaven update and literally just wants to make money off of it. I would much rather have competent people who have people test the game (Not some community manager who doesn't play the game) decide what does and doesn't have to be reworked and frankly i'm sick of it and so are the 1.6k players playing yba legacy.
There's either a ton of people here who went back to their YBA Defense mode because it's the old YBA or a ton of people here seeing this as an opportunity to get themselves onto DDOS, which both are quite honestly a shame.
I mean most of the people here have actually nice arguments that make sense and some people agree with, what eclipse is gonna do? Put comments of people on the screen that shows how wrong he is on this entire video? Huh.
@@I_Bedaman He's definitely not gonna be the type to put in comments, label them stupid, and it's actually a right opinion. If the comment is actually stupid, then he'll label them stupid.
@@underfighterslegend He's done exactly that type of immature shit in this very comment section though. Some troll comment teased him about meatriding Paragon and he lashed out, so I wouldn't put it past him.
YBA as a whole revolves around stolen material, I'm pretty sure they don't hold any copyright at all, I'm not sure how these things work but I'm just wondering since eclipse's entire point was that YBA:L is stolen.
You’re missing the point, yes “screw YBA and Uzu” I agree, but being a scumming Roblox developer isn’t illegal, YBA Legacy is stolen property which is illegal
@@PixelirPlus the entire situation is really funny because both of them are stealing the concept of jojos bizarre adventures from araki, the original creator. if you wanna be morally correct and completely legal, you may as well not play yba too, or any other jojo game on roblox.
@@breadcat82 Well, I thought so too, but upon further research, apparently araki and david productions don't really care about small games using their IP. YBA clearly does care, and it's definitely a violation of their own rights to sap their profits without their consent. But yeah, screw YBA and Uzu.
@@analyzone that may be right, but i view this situation the same as the nintendo not wanting to release old games. Sure its their assets, but they arent public and no one could use it before yba legacy released. If uzu really doesnt want yba legacy to exist, he can just release a old yba version, like a lot of games do. But since he thinks his opinion on the game is better than the community's he refuses to release a old yba version. Just as nintendo not wanting people to pirate a 20 year old game they dont even sell, uzu doesnt want people to play a game he doesnt want then to play. The conclusion here is that piracy is ultimately a service issue, you dont wanna be pirated provide a better service.
I find your defeater to the argument that "its basically like modding a old nes game" to be incredibly faulty. 1. You dont need to buy the original version of the game if you want to play the modded version. Lets look at pokemon modded games for example. You could play ashgray (a modded version of pokemon red) withought having to buy the original red. And if you do so nintendo is technically losing out on the money that could have went to them, because you are playing something else. Most people dont pay for the original game before they play the modded game. So I find it very hypocritical that you dont have any problems with modded games, but have problems with yba legacy 2. You state that playing YBA L instead of YBA loses them money, regardless if yba L is non profit. But to do this you would have to assume that people who play yba would even buy anything in yba. If they dont buy anything in yba, them playing yba L would change nothing. I for one dont spend robux on in game purchases, so im one of those people. Unless they are premium, which is a whole other can of worms.
Your first point is increbibly faulty. Didn't he say mods are fine if the company no longer recieves money? GameFreak and Nintendo stopped selling pokemon Red 2 decades ago. With emulation it is legal if the game is atleast 10 years old. Meanwhile YBA is still being worked on. Pokemon Red is not.
@@Unknown-xg7et Pokemon red was the first example I could remember, its not hinging on my point. Focusing on the analogy to critique my argument dosent help you. My argument is saying that any person who makes a MODDED version of a game (specifically one that costs money) are inherently stealing from the original game developers cashflow based on the notion he set. And he said he dosent have a problem with modded games.
Eclipse you didn't really research this game enough the people did rip some of the code but because the code was so messed up they had to re make some of the stands and they are trying to fix all of the bugs yba hasnt fixed
It literally says in the description that it's a non funded game, it gets no money or currency or whatever, it's just there to give people the feeling of nostaglia playing before the shit updates uzu served.
My take on this: Its like stealing from the rich and giving back to the poor, its up for debate if what the owner did is morally acceptable or not but honestly, we are just kids looking for something to enjoy (which yba simply refuses to give), we cant care enough about yba anymore and it doesnt help uzu and paragons case the they have actively lied to us the community and made us feel unheard exactly like how uzu moved on from yba and left the community in the dust for another game to milk money from (which totally isnt made to hop on the battlegrounds trend btw), we will move on from yba and uzu to find a new, better game we get our entertainment from. In real life the rich literally keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer, an uphill battle between those of power and those who lack it, My take on this is that if the one of power abuses it and actively exploits who dont, I wouldnt care if some random dude stole from them, infact id support it
@@diogod2347 its just for reference, if you want to act like a toddler and make fun me for mentioning robin hood youre free to do so but it doesnt disprove my take on this

You're acting all-mighty, saying that you've said countless times that you don't play stolen games, as if it's a great crime. I get that you have your reasons for not wanting to play this game. However, why are you making a big deal of your viewers recommending you a game and then flaming on them for giving you content ideas? I just miss the old videos where you knew where you stood. You were just a RUclipsr having fun in a Roblox game with some opinions on the game. The new videos are just long yapping sessions on how a game sucks, how the community sucks, how your viewers suck. Just pick another game (on Roblox or outside Roblox) and make fun content. I subscribed to watch fun videos, not 20 minutes of complaining.
noticed that too, i used to like he's videos but now all he does is yapping/ranting and overall acting like a butthurt kid must be he's coping mechanism or sum idk man
Is there a lore reason why you can't just ignore these kinds of videos and watch just the ones where he plays stuff if you're this sensitive? Are you stupid?
Thanks for bringing light to this. I’ve seen countless people talking about how that the people that made YBA:L are like, active developers and what ever. But what they don’t seem to think about is, that they don’t have to do anything. In my opinion, it’s worse than YBA:NU. They aren’t going to add more stands, they aren’t going to add a new map, they aren’t going to revamp the old stands. So all they have is balance changes. Which, hardly even counts as work. And they get 1,000 players for stealing code, and playing with numbers. Truly a “professional.”
@@LucySteel-of2td for real. Never, ever did I think I would live to see the day that Eclipse’s community turn on him this badly. I know there are some with common sense out there but it’s overwhelmingly bad. Then again, if they are this arrogant, he is probably fine with them leaving his audience.
@@spartanious5519 People have a right to be mad and annoyed at Uzu for continuously ignoring the community. Why exactly should those same people care about a developer stealing assets and re-uploading a version of the game that everyone enjoyed? Uzu brought this upon himself.
@@newweaponssoldier4127you can’t just say that uzu brought it upon himself. Sure, he hasn’t proved himself to be the best developer. But he doesn’t deserve have players stolen from him. If a new jojo game came, then yeah, he brought it upon himself. But you can’t say that he brought his game being stolen, upon himself. Plus, like all developers, it’s only a matter of time before the creators of YBA:L, stop caring.
Stolen or not, i honestly don't see a reason to play YBA:L for very long simply because of it's lack of something "new". Sure, you can just join, play a bit and have a taste of that sweet, sweet nostalgia but it doesn't get past that. Missing content, shitty optimization (since it was probably poorly stolen) and it also won't add ANYTHING that we didn't see already or already have on actual YBA, meaning that updates (if there will be) just won't add NEW stuff, i'l be just more of the same shit you already can do. Overall, for a quick nostalgia trip, this game kinda works, but if you really want to stick to the game, it's not worth it. Also you can't disable premium payouts from your game, so even if they claim it's non-profit, they are still making money off the game.
They give the premium payouts back to the community through giveaways which has been cleared up by the owner of the game on a interview. They acknowledged they can't disable premium payouts and this is their way of giving back.
@@EmperorCat I honestly don't trust that completely simply because there's no way to confirm they really are giving ALL of the money back. And even if there was a way to, it's still not right to use money earned from stealing a game to fund these giveaways, because, as i said, it's earned from a STOLEN GAME.
If i'm being honest, the best solution to the *profit* problem would just be the game not existing at all or giving the money to the yba dev team (which would probably be impossible, and uzu is already filled with money soooo)
@@dvcl103 gonna be fully honest, they don't deserve the money since half of YBA's existence they've not only ignored the community's expectations time and time again, but actively complain about them doing so. If you don't give the community what they want, they'll simply move on. Simple supply and demand. Granted, this is not supposed to be an alibi for them stealing, but what do you expect when to the majority of the community want for YBA to return to it's old roots.
it's the same reason emulation is ok but corporations love trying to stop it they make games, refuse to listen to fan's request rerelease them, then wonder why they get pirated uzu made the game, refused to listen to fan's request to revert gamebreaking changes, then wonder why they copied the game to play older versions quite frankly, if I COULD'VE got the copy myself, I would've continued giving the game content updates just like yba, because even if I didn't make I know I would be doing way better of a job managing it, ANYONE could really
Speaking of modded games, just wanna remind people: AUT started as a ABD Modded clone. Yes, it used their assets before NU and no one EVER brings it up just because they "reworked" it to NU. I hate AUT.
YBA is rotten to the core from its very origins to the staff, to the owner himself. Taking down copies of a game that is a copy is hypocritical at best, and comically greedy at worst, especially when they don't even work on their own game.

I wasn't gonna be giving money to the YBA devs anyways, so I might as well direct myself elsewhere. I don't think the game being stolen will dissuade me from playing. I consider it akin to piracy - it's wrong, but I can't take it seriously.
When has thievery not been fun?
You have my exact opinion to a tee

All roads lead to piracy, YBA Legacy is fundamentally an issue with Uzukee, not one with the community. YBA Legacy is not intended to last forever, it is going to die, YBA Legacy is a message.

Basically
the "stealing money from yba" point made in this video implies that if yba legacy suddenly disappeared yba would instantly gain all of it's players when in reality like 80% of the yba legacy playerbase are old players that didnt play anymore/banned users
It doesn't matter if you believe whether YBA Devs deserve money or not, they did put efforts into their game, they made it themselves with time, making this game is their job, they deserve the money even if they don't listen to the player base
Anyways why did you make it sound so deep lmao, "we're left to suffer", just quit the game instead of suffering 😂

So because they said they give all of it away and do giveaways, you think they give away ALL of the money that make?
Preach!
Damn i would never dare to say anything like that to eclipse 🤐
"the devs do it better" when speaking about a stolen game is insane. also, "shame on you"? unless you take his words as law its not like its illegal to play yba clone anymore
Old YBA was just a horrendously low quality, EXTREMELY UNBALANCED game with horrible quality of life. Can't say the same about new yba... I mean old yba is just new YBA but low quality and worse quality of life.
1. stealing, regardless of how incompetent the devs of the original game are, is unethical (obviously)
2. eyes of heaven was made by corporations much larger than a roblox dev team.... these don't compare, though he is at fault for pirating if that is true
idk why you think "modded games using stolen assets will continue to thrive while YBA shrivels and dies" is the solution to all this. what's best is for an ORIGINAL jojo game that's better than yba to take its players granted that yba never gets its stuff together (but honestly idc about yba it's just incorrect to think that stealing is what will save roblox anime games)

to hammer the point home think of minecraft for instance, all versions of minecraft from pre-classic to release 1.20.2 are seperate games, something you can see very clearly as mojang puts Most versions for download to this day, imagine if they suddenly removed one of those versions, say 1.7.5 or smth, if someone else then made their own laucher with an exact STOLEN copy of that old version for people to be able to play that wouldn't be such a bad thing now would it? this i feel like is the same thing.

so uhhh, what about eyes of heaven, the game that you pirated and then JOKED about pirating??
@@worldsandnightmares again i also feel like emphasizing that piracy of a game IS stealing full assets from the game and still stealing money, and sure it's from a bigger company but also keep in mind that yba is also a LOT bigger than yba:l, which again makes very little profit and they actively try to stray from making any real profits from it (they can't disable the robux they get from premium players)
yba:l currently has a pretty small community compared to actual yba, and it's more than likely going to stay that way due to the fact that there's more than likely many smaller children playing yba

I kind of see YBA:L as a wakeup call for Uzu. The community is screaming for a change, and that's why this game was born. And yes, it's not fine that they stole those assets, but I do hope YBA sees this as a wake-up call. That's my honest opinion.

But thats just my opinion, maybe it'll change, anyways see you in DDOS.
them getting ad money from the website is a whole lot more indirect than actually playing a stolen game on roblox
Nobody would play old terraria though since terraria never misses with their updates. And if you want to have the old console content play consolaria mod (you still have to buy terraria)
the definition of abadonware right here ladies and gents
@@daniiii888 Terraria was just an example, this applies to many more games.
There are many people who do enjoy going back to play old versions of games, as proven by the many videos documenting things like 3DS Terraria and the Alpha's and Betas of minecraft. Its stupid, it might be stealing (although its more of a good old copy lock, since it doesn't bring anything new other than custom fixes so the old copy can keep up with the modern roblox glitchy updates and some stuff to make the game more sandboxy than a serious yba stolen copy) but its what ironically eclipse wanted deep down when complaining for the current state of yba and many old players also wanted to have, no one wants a homage like tca kind off (with its own spin) ended up being, but quite literally going back to the good old yba versions and there you go, because uzu wont ever bother plus it would be another yba his community wants him to care about when he already stopped caring about the original yba at all, about premium well, that is roblox premium there is no way to avoid it.
Weird honestly, uzu´s already made millions off yba and clearly moved on to another cashcow battlegrounds souless game. people just want an old version of a already existing game
id get your point if you were able to turn off payouts, but you literally cant , took 1 google search.

I just don't get comepletely where ur coming from. It is a stolen game and they are missing out on money but it isn't all about money. Old yba was great and they worked hard to do it. They did it for the people that miss the game. If they aren't playing yba in the first place than why not make a game that has them go back to the better of it.
I love how instead of blurring your name like you usually do, you used wide the world png.

YBA: Everythings they add (when they actually add) is broken. You can't play a 1v1 / SBR without suffering war crimes from new stands.
YBA L: YBA before that problem.
70% of my playtime on this game is being destroyed by people with meta combos who dont say anything after they murder me
the usual "play this one, we'll ban you in the actual game" usually works for something like NU or AU, but the thing that makes YBA:L a special case is the fact that the people who play YBA:L are either
1) banned from the game to begin with
2) hate current yba
3) people who dont care that its stolen assets
We all know Paragon paid you to say this, and scarcely anyone plays the new YBA. People prefer the old YBA because it's genuinely enjoyable. No one appreciates this new subpar content, which is why, even if it gets deleted, nobody will return to play YBA. The Legacy version has more features too; you don't have to pay for stand storage or spec storage, and there was no need for 5 worthiness for requiem. It's more fun. Plus, YBA doesn't even get updated anymore. One year for a Sticky Fingers update - it's clear that Uzukee doesn't care about his game and players. YBAL, however, will get quality-of-life updates and new stands but with the charm of old YBA.

i completely understand why you cant make videos on it, but you're trashing on this game, when a simple 'hey guys, i cant play this' on your community tab or discord would've sufficed. its preservation, something for old players to play and experience something that they cant anymore, like fortnite's 'og' mode, (hell, even though fortnite is an ongoing service of a game, there's still dedicated clients for it that emulate the old launcher and mechanics) i think having access to these things and preserving them is a necessity if people want to relive those memories, especially if they're not happy with the current game. why do you think the wayback machine exists? or emulation? the countless source mods for TF2 to bring it back to its 2007 state?
it's a time capsule, of course its the same game as YBA back in the day
and yes, it's fair that the YBA devs are upset, but i genuinely do not think that this game was made out of malice or 'spite'
it's something for people who want to relive those memories they hold dear

From a developers perspective; YBA’s approach towards stolen games is extremely childish and doesn’t really handle it with proper care. For those who aren’t aware, Roblox actually has a DMCA feature, which allows developers to strike and remove any games that include their; scripts, assets (textures, meshes, decals), models, and sounds. This leads me to believe the YBA devs would rather resort to a petty back and forth. Either that, or Uzu and the others on the team just don’t know you can do this.
roblox's DMCA feature must really suck. because this isnt the only game ive seen be stolen and take forever to get taken down by roblox
YBAs developers don't care about the game, the fandom, or anything, they just want money, and from what i've seen, thats what separates YBA;L from YBA.

It's funny because most Jojo games on Roblox originated as ABD asset rips (cough cough AUT)
yknow it wouldnt be such a big deal if uzukee listened to his community, put out updates frequently, tested the game or even had testers test the game for him, hired a dev team to fix bugs and make updates for the game.

@@analyzone that may be right, but i view this situation the same as the nintendo not wanting to release old games.
So I find it very hypocritical that you dont have any problems with modded games, but have problems with yba legacy
