My favorite sneakerheads in the game. WEAR THE SHOES YOU LOVE! Get them, put them on your feet, and live your life. Do things in them, and make memories in them! Make them lived in, give them a story and throw them in the rafters when they are cooked. Fuck resale value. It is so refreshing to see someone wear their grails and not ice them.

My grail is the Banned 1. I only got into collecting sneakers about 2 years ago, but that was a shoe I had my eye on for YEARS before I knew anything about the whole sneaker world. I wish I would have grabbed them 2 years ago when I started collecting. That price tag wasn't even that bad. Next time they release, assuming they aren't the 85 highs, I am copping at least 2 pairs for myself.

Slazenger Squash. A cheap plimsoll with a square toe box and these towel like insoles they felt amazing on foot. I wore them to death. Been looking for them for over a decade.
The Air Max 97/360 Union collab from 2005-2006-ish was my grail for a while and I was able to recently acquire them in ok-ish condition for the first time

999s are fire im also a fan of the 009M and those silhouettes are very similar. They’re actually almost identical except the 009M has a sock-like upper and tongue. Seems like they stopped making 009Ms for now. Don’t sleep! NBs always look better on feet especially if you know how to lace them imho.

Im so glad we live in a day and age where we can easily snag pairs we missed out on via stockx or goat bc of technology and the growth of the sneaker community....we’ve come a long way from dial up and Nike talk local meet ups.
999s as reviewed looks real clean for a spring/summer shoe. Nice colors to match with chinos or jeans. Holy grail for me are the 2040v3s in suede. Give me some colors, and bring down the price, these wear out slowly and easy to resole! I'm still on my blue ones for 4 years now!
