I always feel bad when I see this ride, I feel horrible about what happened to the man on this ride but then I remembered he chose not to have his fake legs on each time i see this ride I always say a little pray to him and wish his family the best of luck

I’m coming to Six Flags Darien Lake next week! And I’m going on the rides! Since I’m tall enough for this big ride, while my mom will stay with my brother at the Waterpark while my stepdad rides this with me
+Jonah Williamson well not really. The coasters all have second trains but they are under the stations hence the reason why there is extra track leading from by or under the stations. I currently work at this park and the staff says they only get the trains out on busy days. but every day is nearly busy. But whatever they want to do.
No, the only coaster with train storage under the station is Viper, and that was for the third train that Viper originally had. Currently, the second trains were either salvaged for parts or in storage, but they aren’t on the tracks at all and not operational. Ride of Steel doesn’t even have a second train anymore. They bought a new RoS train in 2016, and scrapped the two old trains.
CoasterCrab Sorry this comment is a year late lol. But, it is an awesome ride. It’s really fun, and the best roller coaster at the park. It’s intense and smooth. There’s a crap ton of airtime. People hate it because a leg-less veteran (poor guy) died while riding it. Since he had no legs, there was noting to anchor him to the cart. (He also demanded that he rode it) Since then, they have redone the carts.
I never understood that straight track. Why not include an airtime hill? If they want you to take a nice look at that sad excuse for a pond, an airtime hill would keep you there longer anyway
The ride layout makes sense in Darien Lake. SFA could’ve made it better, like what they did with Bizarro. It’s sad to think both of these rides are the best in their parks. Not that they’re bad rides, but because they’re clones.

In its hayday Darien lake was one of the best. It’s ok now. When built this was insane. Now it’s an average ride.

I went on this ride today best ride ever. It was mine and my friends first time on a roller coaster. And we ended up going on this one Awesome.

went on this twice. literally my elbows were bruised because i held on so tight lmao. once the drop hit i came off my seat and i was TERRIFIED
It’s fun once you go on it a lot of times .sometimes at the end of the day I went I got to go on the first seat. You’ll get used to it!

How does this compare to the other Intamin Hypers you have ridden?
The only other Intamin hyper I've ridden so far is Skyrush. This ride was fun but Skyrush was way more intense
I have not been on this one, but Intamin usually makes more unique ride elements. This looks like something straight out of Roller coaster Tycoon.
