I had an issue after replacing the filter. I found it best to feed the underside of the assembly in first to marry up against the securing bolts.
The filter flap may have a seal on the centre tab which is easily removed for access - plus undoing both side tabs helps!

Hi, I have 2013 insignia 2L diesel yesterday I turned on the heating and the fan wouldn't come on everything else was working like I mean the HI/LOW HOT/COLD dials were on just the fan didn't kick in when turning the settings between 1 and 6....any solutions please

Honestly never paid much attention, but logic would tell me to look somewhere below the filter. Check other vauxhall car videos it could be helpful.
