Where did you get the Jubilee clip from all i can find are standard ones without the metal trim on the inside

I have a model year 2012. What bewildered me was the connecting ring that was completely different at the bottom. It does not come up with a jubilee clamp but a spring hose clamp. I really had a hard time figuring out how to dissemble and mount the lower part of the pipe. After one day of scrutiny, it was actually kind of easy. Dismounting the lower part of the pipe is relatively easy. All you have to do is to twist the complete pipe downwards. You could use some force to pull out the pipe but you could also extend the spring clamp outwards to disconnect the pipe. Replacing the pipe into a new one was a little trickier. My pipe was delivered with the elbow completely separated from the clamp. Mounting the clamp into the correct position was a real pain. I had to refer to my old pipe and the boxing to position the clamp into the right position. All in all, the clamp should be able to rotate upwards and downwards. If you twist the pipe downwards, while the ring stays at its position, you will notice that the ring gets extended outwards. If you twist the pipe upwards while the ring stays at its position, the ring will tighten the pipe. Before mounting the lower part of the pipe, make sure that the upper part is first mounted. There is a reason for this. While the upper part is already mounted, it would guide the lower part a proper directional force. Believe me, you will need to know the proper direction of pushing the lower part of the pipe in. Otherwise, you would be wasting your energy in mounting the pipe properly. For the lower part of the pipe, you need extend the ring at its maximum. You need to twist the pipe all the way down, while the clamp remains its position. Without the ring to be extended to its maximum, the spaces for mounting the pipe with the intercooler wouldn't match very well. The clamp has 3(if I remember correctly) hooks. Theses hooks are very important to make the pipe be well connected to the intercooler. Believe me, it was a pain to make sure these hooks were connected for both the pipe and the intercooler. You do need to push hard to make these hooks connected to the intercooler. I did have a cling sound once all of the hooks were on the trail of the intercooler. Once this is done you can now move on to twist the ring upwards to completely lock the clamp. Hope my comments would be of any help to those who have a model later than 2011.

Hello, I know this is old video but only wanted to know where you bought your led light from, Googled and searched Amazon and eBay but couldn’t find any.

If you cut with the grinder use as thin disc as you can, and rest left arm against suspension so it will give you dome steady hand, so you will cut what you after, on some grinders you change speed of rotor to lower

Use ratchet spanner next time it is much quicker, plastic anti roll bar does the job well, metal ones get rusty quickly after some time, replacement necessary after taking some much bitting from the roads, change them every 3-4 years one you start hearing gentle knocking that will safe the rest of suspension, easy and cheap staff

I have myself found that I can tell if the car is doing a regen while driving simply because the radio stops working during, and turns to static thought there was something wrong with the radio when I first had the car but has since become a useful feature 😂

Hey man do you think its a good idea to like fix the hole with a patch you use to fix tyre from bike you know with the glue

Just my experience and tip if someone need a temporary fix.. I used what i had laying around to temporary fix my volvo 2.4 TD: Degreased, a dab of "building glue" on the crack, vulcanizing tape wrapped wider than the crach for sealing, electrical tape, then fishing line then electical tape to prevent expansion under boost preassure. Lastet 5 days of city driving and then blew after 150km of "medium/hard" driving (country roads in Norway, a lot of up and down hills, and i did not drive slow...). I suspect gaffer / duckt tape might have lastet longer in the heat of the engine than electrical tape..

Not a criticism but, I'd look at putting silicone sealant in the crack, find a bicycle/tyre tube and cut off a section to glue on the inside and outside, and then duct tape it.... Way cheaper than replacing the hose!

Hi. My 2litre diesel came up with a service light. When. Pluged in it showed 'Engine control - 1C6 / Diesel EDC 17C18/19P2282 - Air mass meter. Error Message : Malfunction.P2459 - Particulate filter regeneration. Error Message : Regeneration frequency implausible.Found above faults logged' anyway they changed air mass sensor and 40miles later same message. The message comes up when I drive up hill then I lose power as though it's a pull/drag. Any ideas please

I know this is an old video at this stage but im confused, you are powering the led via the rear window demister button, so, how does the led come on when regeneration begins. Is the regeneration process somehow linked into the demister and does it come on automatically once regeneration has begun...

Instead of taking off fog lamp trim it's it possible to just Jack up the car instead to do the job ?

I had an issue after replacing the filter. I found it best to feed the underside of the assembly in first to marry up against the securing bolts. The filter flap may have a seal on the centre tab which is easily removed for access - plus undoing both side tabs helps!

De-grease and then self amalgamating tape, sticks like shit to a blanket. Must flex there with the engine.
