I am really impressed because i played both BG dark alliance games back when they came out in highschool with my best friend but we never unlocked the secret characters on the second game. years later after I have read some Drizzt Do urden novels I can appreciate the inclusion of both Drizzt and Artemis.
Thank you all for your support for the Dark alliance videos. I was the owner of this channel, but when I got my phone replaced, i was logged out and forgot the password. So this is my new one
I understand that they couldn’t accurately craft Charon’s claw, but they gave him a defending dagger instead of his jeweled dagger with vampiric magic from the book series. A little disappointing
The video game designers had no way of knowing this at the time, but it was later revealed in the novel Gauntlgrym that the Shadovar warlord Herzgo Alegni had taken Entreri prisoner shortly after the novel Road of the Patriarch in 1369 DR, and he stole both the Charon's Claw broadsword and vampiric dagger away from Entreri. Entreri didn't get them back until nearly a century later. But Entreri was given other, lesser daggers and a weaker long sword to wield while in service to Alegni. So the Defending Dagger could actually fit, here. But Charon's Claw totally doesn't. It doesn't really look like how Charon's Claw is described in the books, so in my mind it isn't Charon's Claw. Let it be the substitute sword that he was allowed to carry instead. Canonically, Entreri didn't realize that Drizzt was still alive until Gauntlgrym, so it doesn't make sense for Entreri to be playable alongside Drizzt in this game. But either/or is fine.

“Drizzt will never drop his trusty blades “ 😂😂😂😂
Yep, you’re basically forced to use his main weapons from the books if you play as Drizzt
