I love some SheScentIt products but yeah, the gels are generally too soft of a hold. I use the Macadamia Fixing Gel to slick back my buns and to do twistouts in the fall and winter. Not how I missed this video all this time but it was a good comparison video...
I have the pomegranate oil in gel hair pudding and I’m not a fan of it. I’ve tried it with 3 different she scent it leave in and it works with nothing even with the pomegranate leave in. They all clump together. I’m hoping the macadamia one works better for me.
the macadamia was super light for me too! I plan on using both of these again with their respective leave ins since i happen to have both. However i used the marula leave in under these two for this wash n go and I was shocked they didn't get along well. Usually her products mix and match really well for me.
CurlyGirlJess the only way I found a leave in to work with the pomegranate one is I paired it with the leave in in the same collection I let it dry about 80 percent then lightly sprayed my hair with water then applied the gel and it worked so well that way
Yeah these didn’t work for you at all 😔 The pomegranate oil n Gel is actually one of my staple products, but I’ve only ever used it with the hair milk from that collection. The passion fruit and flax one seems to act like the Apricot & Illipe jelly. I was terrified when I applied it but my dry results were beautiful. I wonder if the problem is leave in compatibility? I know I had a hard time pairing the macadamia one 🤔 Thanks for the review!
yea i was thinking that too! I used the marula mallow leave in on my hair for this video, but i happen to have both corresponding leave ins for both, so i'm gonna try them again that way. I'm having alot more hopes for the pomegranate one since it seemed to work slightly better for me! Thanks for watching! :)

you may actually like the pomegranate one then.. its soft but shrinkage aint crazy! LOL

Your right side had more definition. What is your favorite gel from other brands?
My top two are eco styler olive oil gel and wetline extreme gel :)

I wonder if the pudding gel would mesh well with wet line gel and a Leave-in
hmmm i'm not really sure, since the pudding is thick and wetline is thick i would be afraid that my hair would reject all of it LOL
