This was so interesting I watched it 2x. I have never been much of a fan of Sean, but in this clip I saw someone with depth, humanity, humor and intelligence that I had never seen before. Most important is the genuineness of this man. I am thankful for the opportunity to be able to see this. Thank you!

I lived in a bubble for years and had nooooooooo idea of Sean Penn's work. I had avoided this, when I watch just about everything from you Trevor because my head was still stuck in the Madonna/Penn breakup... yes.... ignorant and stuck in time.... I am humbled and completely blown away by Mr. Penn here. Thank you for your insight, your work, your writing, all you have done and continue to do Mr. Penn.

Trevor you rock! Asking those questions to Sean Penn about Venezuela really shows how ignorant he is about this subject to us Venezuelans who have lived this situation on first hand. I would like for Mr Penn to answer the following:
    1. How can he call Chavez a noble and good man if the installed a fascist/communist government in Venezuela killing and dissapearing hundreds of people??
    2. Elections??? You just have to do a quick search in Google to realize that there are no free elections in Venezuela.
    3. How can he say that Chavez didn´t have the time to fail or succeed?? Isn't 15 years of presidency enough??? I call BS!!!!
    4. Corruption? Yes Venezuela was very corrupt, but not as today. Nowdays even the food and medicine is being matter of corruption due to the lack of basic products. And you can´t even have your passport renewed without having to pay someone on the side that can help you.
    5. Didn´t support anything about Chavez??? This is his biggest BS. Just search for his beef with Maria Conchita Alonso in which he claimed that people who called Chavez a dictator should be sent to prison. What a great and diplomatic guy!!!
Mr. Penn, just STFU and respect the suffering of an entire nation due to "your friend's" stupid decisions. Venezuela is like it is today because of the stupid decisions Chavez made during his 15 years presidency. Keep your stupid thoughts to yourself.

I never got to see her com sketch, just heard the “backlash” of its content. If it was a part in a movie, or TV series, it would’ve been more acceptable. Blood n guts, explosions, you know, all the fake stuff that makes money. If she was made up to look like a hot big boobed spy or hooker it would’ve been a mega hit! “I spanked him and his straw filled
scarecrow head fellnl off. Woman, fake reality only works on ignorant men and their cave dwelling brain dead women folk and their inbred off spring! 🇺🇸

I love the guy, but he got played by the Bolivarian Rhetoric of "helping the poor", unfortunately, the only poor they helped were themselves, that being said, I still prefer the US above any other country. I am an Ameircan with a Salvadorian Mom and a Brazilian Father and I have lived what both the left and the right do to Latin American, the USSR did hideous things as well through out Latin America....in the US I am consider a leftist, both in Brazil and El Salvador I am considered right wing....go figure...human nature is complex, but the origin of all political problems is always corruption...

It's always great at the start, where you stepped in and made a friend, but in the end it's where it is now. So let's hear you say how you feel about the end that always, always comes with it.

What a disgraceful man. It hurts me and upsets me so much to see someone saying that "Chavez was my friend" after living/seeing the fucking disaster and damage he has done, for me, my family and my friends. And all that bullshit that he "cared" is just that, fucking bullshit. You can study, you can see all the interviews over the years lying with no shame to all the people. Did he cared about the poor? Yes, finally someone addresse the people living in horrible conditions. Did he improve their lives? Maybe with hope, because now everyone is even poorest. It seems like his idea was to make the poor hate "the rich" (while he weared rolex and expensive suites, getting fat over the years) just because that's what some wants to hear.
