This is the best design I have found for a DIY lightbox. Thanks for the great video. Now off to build one of these myself :)

Is it easy to take apart, does the Velcro unfastened easy without tearing from the foam core?

Yes, you do have to be a little careful (you can’t just yank it), but it comes apart and all the parts lay flat for storage.

Can you please tell me the purpose of the smaller angled pieces? Is it for reinforcement or what? Thanks

I’m sorry, I’m not sure which pieces you are talking about. Do you mean the angled strips along each side? As you can see, those are the tabs to assemble the box. If you are talking about a different piece, can you tell me which ones. (Maybe tell me the time in the video where you see them)

@@ImNotBoredImCreative Yes I went back and watched the video again I see that those are for attaching the pieces together thank you so much

I think I have everything figured out except one thing. I am going to be photographing clothing on the bottom of the box so basically a flat lay. This also means that I will be taking the photograph from the top of the box with kind of a bird's eye view. With that being said, is there any way it could work to where I could cut a small hole in the top but still be able to have some diffused light coming in from the top. I just need a small hole in the top to lay my phone lens on to take the picture but I also want some light coming in from the top. Hope this makes sense.

You could cut one or two small windows on the top (on either side of your phone) and cover them just like the windows on the side panels.

@@ImNotBoredImCreative That's true. I guess if I secure the diffusing material the phone won't fall through. Thank you so much you have been a great help.

I want to take my photos from the top, any suggestions?

You could just roll it over onto its back so the opening is straight up.

@@ImNotBoredImCreative I'm sorry, I'm not understanding. I'm photographing a tee shirt, shoes, flowers etc for a flay lay, so I want to take it from the top, but if I make an opening in the top, I don't think the fabric will support my
Cell phone. Trying to figure it out. Your tutorial is one of the best I've seen.
