Mitsubishi didn't know how to make car for north America & i feel they kept that mentally of slow & steady cause they were successful so they didn't need to do more.
I have never missed an episode! I started watching this show in late '83 early '84 with my father & I still look foward to every new episode. John Davis really is a legend... I agree with you 100%. I almost feel like I know him or he's an uncle of mine ha ha. For some good reason, every time I watch this show it reminds me of my favorite decade, the 80's. I hope John Davis & MotorWeek keep going for many many years to come!
Since MotorWeek has been on the air for forty years now I think pretty much everyone in the country feels like they know John Davis to the point where they think of him as the uncle who is extremely smart and kind.
@tinleo333 I have a Mitsubishi, and it has nvr left me stranded on the side of the road or anything to that effect, unlike a Pontiac I had yrs ago..Mine has had a few minor issues, but thank goodness for my warranty..Every car WILL have its issue(s)
@boyishiyah the hilux is like a tank, in the us the hilux have another name is the tacoma i like the mitshubishi 3000gt and the evolution in the us the strongest mitshubishi are the galant and montero and you are right the mazda have heat problems with the seals in the engine, control arms and many more anyways the most reliable american car is the crown victoria police package and with the bigger radiator heat is no problem is a tank but only does 12 miles per gallon or 4km per liter in the city
@tinleo333 we have a mitsubishi magna 2000 and it haas 300000 km on its clock and we havent experienced any problems at all and by the way in our country the whether is really hot it can get up to 55 c and the a/c is superb and cools the cabin down quickly so how that for reliability for ya
@tinleo333 good for you :) the problem is in kuwait is that toyotos are twice the price of a mitsubishi i dont know why cause mitsubishis r just as reliable and this is coming form someone who has 5 mitsubishis at our home my bros and sis each have one and everyones working fine in 55 c heat, about fuel in our country its no big deal fuel is really cheap and about altima a/c is really bad doesnt cool and gearbox problems and about toyota they r reliable but before now theyre getting worse :)
@boyishiyah in the us is hard to see old mitsubishis they are bad on the other hand you see a lot of toyotas hondas and nissans old new all they are very good
@tinleo333 i wonder why cause here in kuwait we c alot of old mitsubishis goin back to 1980s and in kuwait american cars like chevys, gmcs and fords cant handle the heat they r seriously unreliable i know lots of people that had them n only after 1 or 2 years they were breaking down or always in the garage and the same goes to german car like BMW,land rovers n Volkswagens i dont think they can handle kuwaits heat cause seriously its really hot no one goes out in the morning thats how bad it is.
@tinleo333 about mazda its really good for cool countries like uk :) my dad drives drives an unreliable dodge durango and has a super reliable toyota hilux for work and has a ford excursion for traveling that we dont use much :) and if u dont drive like a mad man u can receive decent fuel economy :) so in the end it depends were u live to choose a car thats right for ur country :D
@boyishiyah i had a chevy and the electronics are bad and the engine easily overheat at least in humid miami heat 40 degrees is bad car also had a mazda also bad car, dodge neon too bad car, nissan altima daam thats a good car,and now i drive a toyota and is so daam simple reliable and efficient is the best car for the poor.
I dont understand why Mitsubishi doesnt sell better! These are great cars!

why Mitsubishi is not selling cars if they are cool and sporty?answer is reliability the same for dodge and mazda.
Not enough highway miles for me
I meant "Forward"... Typing too fast lol ;)

the car looks so gloomy.
I think the 08 model looks more nice.
I'd rather get an Infiniti EX for a couple more K.
