Use to be able to watch his show with a rooftop antenna. TV was free, in Jersey you could get 10 channels with a good antenna, and there was always something fresh to watch. Now with 900 channels all you get is reruns.
Had the pleasure of meeting and working with him briefly at a Radio Station in Trenton NJ. Area. I ran his taped 'Italian -American Seranade' after my own show many years ago.Always pleasant & ready to talk on an array of subjects. Come out from the studio into the lobby once to meet & greet my kids.(10 & 8 at the time) They were Stunned!! His Huge Smile had them Speechless. Brought them some cookies, he did. Nice Guy!
Forgot how well he played the piano. Nice to see uncle Floyd. I remember Joe Franklyn wanted to sue him, because of his impersonation of him. Joe Franklyn had no sense of humor.
i love the guy, i remember coming home from school and throwing a VCR tape(yea remember those) into the player and recording every show for years. i still have like 30 tapes of uncle Floyd. he has a block party every year in north jersey at his house. it was just last month its a blast.
way cool i saw his live show twice way back when good times and a big fan of his tv show i wish he could do a show in fl. by tampa he should come on down here
Wow I remember Wometco home theater. I lived on Staten Island and we had some illegal bootleg hookup with this huge TV top box .one of the first and best movies was "over the edge" . The entire movie is now on RUclips. It is Matt dillons acting debut and is a cult classic and a absolute must see
was just telling somebody about WHT the other day. I still have the monthly programs and remember the movie you are talking about. that wasnt the illegal box hookup thats how it was, you tuned to channel 3, turned down the tv's volume cut on the WHT box and the one knob was your on/off switch/ volume and the other knob was your tuner............. plus the program ran a monthly calender in the middle so you can see the movies that played at 8am and 10am and repeated at 8 and 10pm Adult Fri n Sat
