I watched on channel out of Jersey. The first time I watched, waiting for the announcement of the college basketball game, it was Cincinnati vs. Long beach State. It turned I began watching the show and the station regularly. Thanks Uncle Floyd for all the memories from Frank
Never missed the Uncle Floyd Show as I Kid. I used to send in Mets pictures to see them yell/chant "We don't care about the mets". Loony Skip Roony actually ripped it down off the wall once. Awesome NY/NJ nostalgia here when cable tv was in its infancy. I could watch these videos all day long.
He once sang a parody of the Mets song "Meet The Mets" that I've always remembered. It goes like this: Meet the Mets BEAT the Mets Come on everyone DEFEAT the Mets 'cuz the Mets are really dropping the ball as the other team's runs fly over the wall. East side - West side All the Mets are falling down! So come on everyone and beat the Mets of Neeeeew Yooooork town! 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂
If there's one thing I miss about living in New Jersey, it was most definitely The Uncle Floyd Show. I used to get a huge laugh from his puppet Mr. Jones. 2:06
I love Uncle Floyd! Saw him and his cohorts inperson many years ago at The Calderone Theatre in Hempstead NY. They were hilarious. Looney Skip Rooney, etc.
*Holy smokes, do I miss Carvel's apple strudel ice cream* *with flecks of cinnamon & chunks of apple in it,* *along with those plastic half-gallon tubs with the flavor handwritten on the lid ....* *RIP, Mugsy ....* 😢💔
Not sure the year, but I had a picture on the wall during the NJN years. I sent in a bunch and included a note "Hey Floyd, pick one!" Wish I had a vcr back then, but used to record audio on cassette, which I still have!
BAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAAAAAAAAAAAA! Hey that's my UFO artwork, on the wall there. Also sent in a Molly Hatchet one, which they posted. Long live TUFC!
That's coming. They seem to be uploading the clips in order of the Shanacie DVD. "Mr. Grouch" was the first skit on the Volume 2 video tape (and comes midway through the DVD). It's a GREAT skit.
I saw this one live on TV68 40 years ago. Thank you for the laughs Floyd.
UHF!
I watched Uncle Floyd on UHF channel 68 for many years. I’ve also seen him perform live a bunch of times. He is one of the all-time greats!
I saw it on PBS channel 12 from Toms River. Oh, could Floyd and crew make me laugh!!!
I did as well. UHF channel 68. In Brooklyn, NY
@@outtathyme5679yup! Tune in... Literally

Hilarious memories! I love it!! Floyd is the Best!
Never missed an episode. Pure genius!
The most prominent laugh every time was that of Looney Art (Skip) Rooney.
Skip laughing in the background gets me every time… just like back in the day.
Skip laughs I laugh!
They bought my daughter’s up! Best show ever! Was at Sayreville bar, so much fun!

Great sketch! All the subplots wrapped up in the finale!
This is brilliant. You have to find more, there should be thousands of Floyd clips on here.
Well, dozens maybe.
There are thousands and you can see them Tuesdays at 8PM Eastern time on StageIt.
@@rabiesbiter5681 not sure what you're talkin about
Like that 70's "Anchorman" look😅
So awesome, so missed
"There are no classes on Wednesday at the Carvel College, because Wednesday is Sunday"
Marvelous as was every moment on the show!
Fun and funny tv memories. Thank you!
Fudgie the Whale and Santa were made from the same mold. Fudgie’s tail was Santa’s hat. Carvel genius!
Wow! Someone sent in a picture of UFO!
Classic
You have to stick around for the ending of this one, it's hysterical!
"The day has passed by (tick, tick, tock) and now my friends it's six o'clock, six o'clock, six o'clock..."
I loved the Carvel commercials with Tom Carvel. And as usual, Uncle Floyd did a great parody of Tom Carvel!
I love Uncle Floyd! Saw him and his cohorts inperson many years ago at The Calderone Theatre in Hempstead NY. They were hilarious. Looney Skip Rooney, etc.
David Bowie loved this show. Space Oddity David Bowie. Yea, THAT David Bowie.
John Lennon told him about the show.
I miss UHF.

They used the same mould every time. Dumpy the Pumpkin; Fudgie the Whale; didn't matter.
@@andyb811
*lolol Yep!*
*They just rotated the mold 90° to make -- WHATEVER.*
*For example, Fudgie the Whale's tail is Lucky the Elf's beard!*
🤷🏻
@Cary GRONEVELDT - and Tom had to do all the commercials himself, even though he was probably spitting into the microphone.

Funny hearing Scott Gordon say "illegal alien." Those words wouldn't come out of his mouth today.
Can you please find and upload the Victor Nashtalazenko(spelling) bit with Scott (if possible).... I remember that one from years ago.
Around 1980 or so I sent in a Picture for the Wall. I don't know if they ever put it up.
Not sure the year, but I had a picture on the wall during the NJN years. I sent in a bunch and included a note "Hey Floyd, pick one!" Wish I had a vcr back then, but used to record audio on cassette, which I still have!
