Despite being one of the smaller video game developers, Digital Extreme has pleasantly surprised me with the quality of this game. They may be one of the few developers/publishers who I actually trust nowadays. Coincidentally they are also one of the few non-indie developers who seems to put their product before their profits but I guess that makes them trend setters
Same here I would put it beside malthel from reaper of souls diablo and gladous from portal and probably aldia and ofcourse father ariandel both from dark souls
It's definitely the soundtrack that makes this for me, meshes perfectly with the empty space in the dialogue. Chills every time he drops the loki head.
You have no idea about amount of damage he can do.....once in sortie there were lvl 999 enemies but they can't hurt us back. Lord be hold some idiots stalker decided to spawn and oh my GoD.....you have no idea how we dealt with him.
For real! Last time the stalker caught me playing solo, he got deleted by a stray bullet from my Redeemer prime. I was wondering for a second why he spawned on his knees with zero HP before realising what I had done. A previous time I was playing SP solo and I got a lvl 135 stalker to deal with. I left my warframe behind and beat him in operator form.
Hunhow's voice acting is chilling. He reminds me of the narrator from those old "eye witness" documentaries, except that he intends to commit genocide instead of explaining this or that about dinosaurs.

Why is the Stalker so damn cool?! I know a Stalker Warframe (hell probably even a skin) is out of the question, since hes supposed to be a unique solo badguy. And thousands of "Stalkers" at the Relay might break some immersion, and lore while we're at it. But I'd love to have a Stalker Frame.
Stalker's not cool, he's a loser. The guy sends you e-mails telling you he's going to avenge Phorid or The Sergeant, and then he interrupts you while you're farming and then either A, he kills you because you let him so he'd go away faster and he walks away slowly muttering one liners to himself about how much he showed you a thing or two while behind him you are immediately resurrected by a teammate, or B, you instantly whoop his dumb ass and take his bow. He's a tool.
he's already a boss. a boss ass antagonist. too bad its not a boss we can fight ...yet......or in the sense of SPOILER ...tww ( make the choice to follow )

It took me a few weeks to realize that it was actually Hunhow speaking the whole time. Initially, i thought that Stalker was giving a speech to the sentients to propose an alliance, I really thought that the "Tenno / Lotus / Who" were from the sentient soldiers around Stalker, speaking at the same time. I still felt strange that Stalker was talking to them and that Hunhow had a "similar" voice, and then randomly Stalker had a very "sucked" voice. Just NOW that I found out the truth, i'm beginning to understand the whole cinematic and journey . . . . . . . . . Even dumbness has limits and I surpassed it :(
This is the best video game cutscene I have ever seen. Better than Volume's brilliant ending, better than Hacknet's voiceover, even slightly better than Red's death in Transistor.
Or they are basing Excaliber umbra off of stalker, which makes sense considering Stalker is a Tenno as well, and it is said by Hunhow at the last of The Second Dream. "All your dread-long life, you've waited for this moment. But you're asking yourself, 'Was I one of these wretched things?' You know the answer. You still hate them. You still hate yourself."

The stalker is that one villain where he looked so badass, but once you are a veteran, he is just a 7 year old kid trying to act like a chad.
You have no idea about amount of damage he can do.....once in sortie there were lvl 999 enemies but they can't hurt us back.
