We didn't see the husband who was presumably at work? There is another video series, Rose and Anzai (Ugandan Luo married to a Chinese). I find Rose's marriage a lot more interesting
Many mixed marriages including this one, can work simply because the husband is a prosperous businessman who can support his wife to home school 3 kids. Husband is a financial supporter, not always present. Like she praises Mr. Dadaliya for his 'patience', but it could also mean there are potential frictions smoothed over because he was patient.
I find Rose's marriage a lot more interesting because of the way she has integrated into a rural Chinese village. Despite the huge physical difference between her and the community, Rose is literally just a Chinese with different physical features. The family is clearly below average income, peasants, but you can sense that everyone is happy - I mean not just Rose and her husband and child, but the entire community around them. The sense of integration is automatic and complete - husband, wife and people around them are mutually supportive and no sense of frictions requiring patience to overcome.
King Kwesi I think there should not be an assumption that a remote village is less accepting than a city. In a remote village there might be less 'struggles' with acceptance once the newcomer shows willingness and ability to integrate.

I really like when Dadaliya said "My Marriage is my personal life" and therefore she does not matter whether her parents and relatives disapprove it. I like Dadaliya very much, and wish her and my African brother from Cameroon all the best. Love has no colour, no race and no boundary because you cannot see love, but can only feel and experience love.

when people say life is personal choice not families. most probably he or she has made the wrong choice, especially in China, where our families play a big part in ones life.
this is not a hollywood love drama, happiness ever after wil never exist wihtout the bless of his or her family especially in China.

Yes I’m a black man and very proud of myself and how I look. As I stated to you before I’m married and not in any way interested in any form of relationship with any other person. Why are you judging people’s personality based on how they’ve decided to grow their hair or beard? There are nice Chinese and welcoming Chinese people and I can clearly say you’re not one of them.
Stop being a bitter person cos it’s not good for your health. Have a good day.

@@KINGKWESI I am not a bitter person and I was not judging you by your looks. I was just giving you an honest opinion about what Chinese parents look for in a son-in-law and you took it miserably and insulted me with your nasty comment! You said to this lady from South Africa that Chinese parents took their kids away as soon as your daughter got on a slide and even she was surprised to hear as she probably never seen or came across such thing with chinese parents. Chinese parents generally do not do that but they must have been frightened by you and thought in case their kids accidentally hurt your daughter, you might get into some kind of altercation with them which they do not want and that's why they did that to avoid any incident while your daughter was there. You are not in my shoes that know Chinese people well. When you use nasty words in your comments, you are considered a very disrespectful person by Chinese people and we have no respect for such people!

I have subscribed to your channel because of this interview. The best. I like when you gave this beautiful and very intelligent woman time to speak finish rather than cutting her off like some journalists will do as soon as they have some to say that won't sell. I love this lady personality and her beliefs. I wouldn't mind having her to homeschooling my child. Her homeschool is well organised and child friendly. She was raised very well despite being the only child. I can understand her grandmother being very scared cause the media only publish the worse. Her mum being proud of her grandchildren is also amazing. Her children are handsome and seems well behaved. She spoke kindly of her husband, which isn't always the first thing people see in a person. "His character and his togetherness with his family" rather than how handsome he was when they first met. I've learnt something new. Well done woman ❤️ You will love his country and you can also open good business there if you want to stay longer. I think the soup is called "EGUSI". Keep up the good work.

The soup's name is "yellow soup", or "yellow sauce". It's very spicy, and they eat it with pounded water yam (taro). It's a traditional dish in both Cameroon's West and North-West provinces.

I enjoyed the interview but from 19 minutes to 21 minutes, the dad needs to do some educating to his kids on Africa in 2022. It’s not a “ZOO” that you need to prepare for. It’s not a “disease-infested” place that they need to start looking for medicine 💊 for. The lady is awesome 👍. Got nothing against her. But the ‘Dad’ needs to teach the kids properly about where he comes from. Despite the challenges, we have there. My thoughts, with love ❤️.

There's another interpretation, a kinder one highlighting one of Africa's treasures. Africa is known for its animals. She could be saying that when they move to Africa, they could start a mini zoo of their own to know these animals better. What I learn from the interview is that this lady is a master teacher, constantly on a lookout on how to teach her children.
As for teaching African herbs, the Africans, like the Chinese, have been culturally herbalists over generations. She immerse in African rich herbal culture just as she has taught her children Chinese herbs.
So it's not looking down on Africans as backward. This lady is better than that, given her perceptive and enquiring mind.
Of course, the questions why she want to start a zoo and teach about African herbs could be posed to her. That will clear all doubts.
But I don't need to have those questions asked to be sure that she is too intelligent and inter-culturally immerse to have a narrow mindset.
