And about "the poor modders" who will lose their income, I don't care... if they're that good at creating mods, then go work for a racing video game developer and use your talents... In short, you're very uninformed and you're not willing to play a massively better sim racing title just cause you're being a snowflake right now...
Very excited, but I think one of the most important things missing from sim realism is the lack of movement of the physical car parts. Wings should shake , flex, and vibrate, fenders, hoods, trunks etc….. All cars in all sims move like they were carved out of solid granite. Nothing moves, nothing flexes.
Doesn't ACC have chassis flex? Simulated on physics level. Visualization is different of course Edit: At least the windscreen wipers shake in EVO. Just like in ACC. And visual tyre flex I'm sure. Don't know about other visualization
@@chrissss696 Tyre flex is pretty much given in a modern sim. ACC has even visual tyre flex, very accurate to real life. Would not expect anything less of EVO. Don't think this was about tyre model
@@shredd5705 well i should've explained better... Cars in BeamNG aren't one solid object, they're built of nodes and beams which can bend or deform based on the forces acting on them, which means stuff like chassis flex and axle hop happens naturally. @@chrissss696 Yes. Chassis flex is very complex thing to simulate accurately though. AC developers didn't want to even do it, until ACC 1.2. Because they said earlier they didn't have enough data for it. BeamNG is very good though

As a huge fanboi of AC1 and how incredible that game has become because of modders, I'm just somewhat underwhelmed by some of the footage coming out. Now, don't jump on me there, it looks good enough, it's exactly what I was expecting in a way but in that lies the problem, it's just that, an updated AC1. Now, I know this isn't anywhere near a full reveal of the game, we have no idea what is coming, but the feeling I'm getting from the gameplay leaks is just more of the same. We see it time and time again. I'm somewhat bored of race cars, show something out of the ordinary, show something revolutionary. The past 20 years has shown us that people get massively excited by changing oil on 2nd hand cars (looking at you GT), get excited by tuning basic road cars, get thrilled and excited by the thought of building up garages. What I'm saying is, I don't need just another racing game like all the others, how about we focus on the enthusiast, the love of cars, the culture, give us something different than just racing the same race cars around the same old tracks for a change. Hopefully we get something like that, I'm just not excited at the thought ACE will be just an updated asset package with more of the same.
I want to see more American cars, and more regular cars in general that we can modify. Would love to make a track-spec Camry or Volvo wagon or something and try racing against hypercars. 😅 That kind of variety would be incredible. Also I love what they are suggesting with the modding, about working with modders to make official mods, because there was definitely many mods for AC1 that were subpar quality, both visually and physics data, and it could give bad impression of the game, even though it's not the games' fault.
While some other channels have more resources to put on the production quality, I feel like this one had the best content out of the first impressions. I can see that the graphics look nice, but the impressions on the handling and car model are crucial. As a sim racer, there have been some concerns that the EVO might be aiming for more of the GT/Forza market and it's good to hear the physics are realistic and responsive. Can't wait to see what those 20 or so cars will be and whether the early access has enough content to actually start racing in it rather just cruise around on open roads and picking the right socks for your driver.
Incredibly excited for this game. AC with updated physics and graphics and hopefully a career mode akin to Forza or GT plus mods is the ultimate dream game for me.
Giving modders an opportunity to work with the license holders sounds like a cool way to acknowledge the talented modders in the community. Regulation sounds fine too considering the amount of asset stealing in the scene
It really makes a very good first impression for me. I can hardly wait for the early access to start in January. Even if it's unlikely or would take a long time, the four seasons would be amazing. I could imagine the simulation of the outside temperatures or ice on the track in connection with the vehicle being very interesting.
im a massive fan of racing games, specifically simulation type racing where the physics are spot on.. having played both AC and GT i must say i enjoy the feel of the cars in gran turismo significantly more. im going to look into purchasing this game and giving AC another try with an open mind. i have some real world racing experience ( nothing professional just a hobby) when i play gran turismo i find myself feeling connected to the car, i can take corners at the speed i know i should be able to, i know when im on the cusp of losing control, It feels natural. where as in Assetto Corsa i find myself feeling disconnected, like the cars all have an extra 1,000 pounds and the tires are made of swiss cheese linglong brand. almost like certain cars dont actually handle the way they do in real life. i the only driver aid i use is ABS set to lowest possible setting. physics set to as-real-as-possible at all times. easily around 2,500 hours clocked with racing wheel setup. i really hope this new AC is the one because as much as i love Gran Turismo, requiring a console to play it kills me. if sony were to release Gran Turismo on PC it would be a whole different breed of game.
you are used to the feeling of GT. Where cars are very stable and reactive to imput. AC does a little too much, but the problem you have is entering corners to fast. Simulations convey the sense of speed very poorly. Mainly because of the low FOV to feel the cars rotation better. GT is great, but when it comes to finese and trying to place the car milimeter perfect, it strugles. Here you notice how much deeper the learning curve of AC goes. Edit: AC gets fun when you master it. Else it's frustrating.
@@razortec simulation physics on GT takes away the stable aspect. i didnt get the feeling that AC was harder because its physics were more accurate, i felt the opposite. for me the learning curve on AC is higher not because its better but because its not realistic in a sense where i have to spend too much time thinking how the game works and not the car. corner entry speed is significantly lower on AC compared to GT with the same vehicles and similar tire setup. if you have the ability to compare i do recommend it. same map/car/setup and try a couple laps, see what feels more natural. for me it is GT. it compares more to real-life than what AC does from experience. i do have real life track time- keep that in mind.
Well, now I am curious about features. It sounds like they are nailing the feel of driving, modding is planned, and free roam has been confirmed in another article on Traxion... I guess I am curious what they have planned for modes. I would guess they have some type of online track day planned, but I hope the single player content is fleshed out and interesting, and I would love the ability to host private servers to play with friends against the AI. Hard not to be excited, even if my aging PC might struggle a bit with this one. Time to upgrade!
Yes, I mean visually. It would really add to the immersion imo. Irl the wings atop gt3 cars flip around and bounce with vibration. Same with other body panels.
Please let this be the sim that is the reference for online competition system. I've moved from AC to iRacing and I really really hope this becomes the main all-purpose sim with excellent online ranked racing.
I hope they remember its not only about how real it is, perception plays a role, if tire flexes but graphically they are like cinder blocks, you miss the chance to see from outside how hard the car is going, same for chassis roll. Seems its coming great tho.
Honestly assetto could definitely add mods onto console . They can either collab with Mod io or they can do like every other game like teardown, snow runner, star field, dying light , torque drift 2 etc
looks amazing, especially looks good with the corners and bumps... i feel like in AC currently a bump or curb will take you out so much more than in Iracing, or Competizione
Really promising good news on ACE and it looks like it's going to be everything we hoped for and finally we'll get a race sim with realistic wet weather driving physics :-)
I wish they would be as open as Stephano was in his developer RUclips streams about how things are simulated under the hood. I would probably steer away from the forums this time around, but they should streamline the feedback process, maybe also taking into consideration things like sim racing experience, real life experience (including with which games), technical knowledge, modding knowledge of the person giving the feedback (even if it's easy to lie about this online).
Can't wait. Thanks, RC. A qn: do you think it might be released on console eventually? I have both a PC and console, but just like the ease of console accessibility. Was pretty satisfied with the PS5 version of ACC.

If you play AC for the mods rather than the driving itself then stay there, nobody wants you as a customer anyway... the game having mods AT ALL is a HUGE gift by Kunos because mods should be illegal for many reasons but most of all this...
Mods include in the game cars (and tracks) that are not licensed and they can get in HUGE trouble with the manufacturers.
And about "the poor modders" who will lose their income, I don't care... if they're that good at creating mods, then go work for a racing video game developer and use your talents...
People think mods are "innocent" but this is a RACING GAME... this is a game that includes cars and tracks that need paid licenses... you can't have any mod fly by without any supervision...
In short, you're very uninformed and you're not willing to play a massively better sim racing title just cause you're being a snowflake right now...

The steering delay from hardware to software is like 200-300ms 🤣
@@NatthapolVanasrivilai I'm talking about correcting nonexistent oversteer
Very excited, but I think one of the most important things missing from sim realism is the lack of movement of the physical car parts.
Wings should shake , flex, and vibrate, fenders, hoods, trunks etc…..
All cars in all sims move like they were carved out of solid granite. Nothing moves, nothing flexes.
Doesn't ACC have chassis flex? Simulated on physics level. Visualization is different of course
Edit: At least the windscreen wipers shake in EVO. Just like in ACC. And visual tyre flex I'm sure. Don't know about other visualization
I heard BeamNG devs are working together with tire manufacturers to develop a new tire model, when that comes out it'll fill your niche nicely
The current tire model though is outdated and makes the cars feel floaty and disconnected, an accurate tire model may just make BeamNG one of the best sims out there
@@chrissss696 Yes. Chassis flex is very complex thing to simulate accurately though. AC developers didn't want to even do it, until ACC 1.2. Because they said earlier they didn't have enough data for it. BeamNG is very good though
AC devs should hire the Pure and CSP devs to make it perfect
Nice, let's see Paul Allen's Simulator
THANK YOU for the amazing preview and coverage! MUCH APPRECIATED! 💯👍
As an Iracing player this is great, I hope it brings some competition to the serious sim racing market!
Really Hyped, the level of detail in the tyre model, the rain on the different parts of the track. Modding cars, open world. Racing on track, better graphics and draw distance for VR.
ITS HAPPENING 🎉
Hopefully we get something like that, I'm just not excited at the thought ACE will be just an updated asset package with more of the same.
well it looks fantastic! sounds like it might be worth the wait 👊 great review! abraço!
Great video as always! 🎉 can’t wait for EVO
Oooooh man I am HYPED for AC Evo! Thanks for the little preview, much appreciated!
Looks VERY promising! Thanks for the update
Thanks for the video, this all sounds and looks very promising!
I can't wait! Wondering what the graphics are to be expected for the Xbox Series X. Thank you for bringing this content to us.
Cannot wait to try this in VR, hope it gets one over GT7 which will be a huge thing
this guy is 300% portuguese and i cant get over the accent
PORTUGAL CARALHO
italian and assetto corsa company is here in italy
@@Travelife2000 I think he talking about the first guy in video, the guy testing it out. The blonde haied dude.
I would of never though he was Portuguese and I'm one also...ha ha, I'm fair like him also.
Wow! I really hope they nailed the physics and it isn’t too far removed from the original AC. Very excited!
I'm so happy to hear the FFB is more similar to AC than ACC, i always found AC FFB to feel better
Looks solid. Will be watching the release
Cant wait for it, having a blast with ac and acc.
Wow i haven't been excited for a racing game in a while, this looks really promising
That certainly looks good.
It looks so beautiful. This will be my go to game I'm sure. So hyped !
Long live the king, long live assetto corsa ❤ cant wait
Was there a VR demo booth? How's performance?
I've heard that VR and triple screens are not properly supported in current state of the game, that's why there was only ultrawide.
ACE is shaping up to be the most Phenominal Racing Sim Ever!
Incredibly excited for this game. AC with updated physics and graphics and hopefully a career mode akin to Forza or GT plus mods is the ultimate dream game for me.
So excited for this...2025 is shaping to be interesting for racing games: AC Evo and Night Runners
Giving modders an opportunity to work with the license holders sounds like a cool way to acknowledge the talented modders in the community. Regulation sounds fine too considering the amount of asset stealing in the scene
Damn this is exciting... good too see a game developer delivering (hopefully) on a product these days
Wish every developer was as cool as kunos
It really makes a very good first impression for me. I can hardly wait for the early access to start in January. Even if it's unlikely or would take a long time, the four seasons would be amazing. I could imagine the simulation of the outside temperatures or ice on the track in connection with the vehicle being very interesting.
THIS LOOKS INSANE!!!
and so what, the graphics are not playing
Very insightful, great video.
gosh the rain lloks so real...what the ..thats so hot i cant wait for drive EVO🤩i hope the release weeks are not full of bugs🙏
The hype is real
Well this looks good. I watched Kieth’s video and it didn’t look like this. Also couldn’t hear him talk😂. I’m hyped now
Definitely would like to see what the modding community will do.
im a massive fan of racing games, specifically simulation type racing where the physics are spot on.. having played both AC and GT i must say i enjoy the feel of the cars in gran turismo significantly more. im going to look into purchasing this game and giving AC another try with an open mind. i have some real world racing experience ( nothing professional just a hobby) when i play gran turismo i find myself feeling connected to the car, i can take corners at the speed i know i should be able to, i know when im on the cusp of losing control, It feels natural. where as in Assetto Corsa i find myself feeling disconnected, like the cars all have an extra 1,000 pounds and the tires are made of swiss cheese linglong brand. almost like certain cars dont actually handle the way they do in real life. i the only driver aid i use is ABS set to lowest possible setting. physics set to as-real-as-possible at all times. easily around 2,500 hours clocked with racing wheel setup. i really hope this new AC is the one because as much as i love Gran Turismo, requiring a console to play it kills me. if sony were to release Gran Turismo on PC it would be a whole different breed of game.
you are used to the feeling of GT.
I was keeping myself in check until now, but it's official... I'm hyped!
Thanks. I am still skeptical about A.C.E. and I am going to remain that way until I have the game running on my rig.
Just type EVO no need for that ace non sense
Well, now I am curious about features. It sounds like they are nailing the feel of driving, modding is planned, and free roam has been confirmed in another article on Traxion... I guess I am curious what they have planned for modes. I would guess they have some type of online track day planned, but I hope the single player content is fleshed out and interesting, and I would love the ability to host private servers to play with friends against the AI.
Hard not to be excited, even if my aging PC might struggle a bit with this one. Time to upgrade!
It’s a racing game so unless you have a potato it should be fine on average settings
0:17 nice input lags🎉
No all sim games look like that it has to do with refresh rates and shutter speed of the camera
I can't stand having the virtual wheel in addition to the real one. It takes away all the immersion IMO
@@pedrokranios war crime
@pedrokranios ACC has 2 other in cockpit views if you don't like seeing the wheel. I'm sure AC Evo will be the same.
@@RADERFPV yes I think so as well
Sounds and looks very promising, hope they can get the sim stable before launch to the public 👍
Extremely hyped for AC Evo!
Thank you for your impressions. Hopefully its so good in VR
This is great news, We might finally get the sim that does it all. Lets hope Multiplayer ranked racing will give iRacing a run for its money.
I hope they remember its not only about how real it is, perception plays a role, if tire flexes but graphically they are like cinder blocks, you miss the chance to see from outside how hard the car is going, same for chassis roll. Seems its coming great tho.
So pumped. Kudos Kunos ❤
This is looking fantastic!
They better have kept in mods.
Also maybe have a subscription server option. Someone needs to compete with iRacing with their racing
Hi there...great expectations! Did they mention about multiplayer? Can we finally add AI in multiplayer?
Thanks random great vid 👍👍👍
Honestly assetto could definitely add mods onto console . They can either collab with Mod io or they can do like every other game like teardown, snow runner, star field, dying light , torque drift 2 etc
Looks amazing!!! Sounds Amazing!!! Also the recomended PC specs are very low for a game in this current time!
looks amazing, especially looks good with the corners and bumps... i feel like in AC currently a bump or curb will take you out so much more than in Iracing, or Competizione
Can't wait to try it tomorrow. 😊
I cant wait to play this. ❤😮
The game looks stunning!
Not trying to criticize your technique, just found it interesting how you modulate the brake/throttle mid corner.
The latency from your wheel movement to the screen wheel responding is very high...
Please, please, please don't take long to release it on consoles... I'm waiting for you anxiously
This could be the one. This could definitely be the one.
Can't wait. Thanks, RC.
A qn: do you think it might be released on console eventually? I have both a PC and console, but just like the ease of console accessibility.
Was pretty satisfied with the PS5 version of ACC.
What did you think about the new corsair simrig ? flex or no flex ?
Just now built a powerful PC running everything flowlessly in 4K. Cant wait this beauty 😂😂😂
I'm trying really hard not to jump on the hype train but this is looking really good.
Thanks for the great explanation ❤ will it come to the PS5 PRO??
bruh, useless question
i hope they reach out and collaborate with some of the more prominent moders on this one, assetto corsas current greatness is much (mostly) thanks to them tbh, ilja, peter boese, shutoko revival, c13, abulzz, etc.
