Will be doing some more ACEvo today and will try to mess with more settings , might even get a chat with kunos on camera , got any questions you want me to ask ?
@@GamerMuscleVideos ask them if we are going to be able to drive around the Nordschleife in free roam and then casually enter the track. And if we can chose between standing and rolling starts
The last person in the world that I’d leave in a room unsupervised with a camera and a mic trying out a game I’d be working on would 100% be gamermuscle haha.
I saw other reviews but I don't trust them because they are not tea drinkers. This is the only verified review I can count on! Thanks GM. You made my day by telling me how good it is.
I really appreciate you going through the details of actual handling and giving it the proper amount of time with plenty of information for us to hear. This looks very promising. Something I've noticed from recorded gameplays is that the Porsche Cup car leaves quite a different impression of handling than the other cars, but doesn't make it a worse experience. It really feels like a combination of both Assetto Corsa games, trying to take all the best things from them. Keeping fingers crossed that this is the game.
Everybody's been going crazy about this since yesterday. Was looking forward to seeing what GM thought of the FFB. Sounds like it is still okay to be excited :)
I am beginning to believe... this is the one! I watched everyones video on this so far. They said there will be a multiplayer matchmaking system. There is VR. The game seems to be running well. People say the FFB is good and cars act very natural. Those are already ticking the most important boxes for me. And the Kunos guys say the right things, they also seem pretty confident with what they have which is also a good sign.
There won’t be anything game changing in sim racing any time soon. We basically already have everything you could ask for in this hobby. With AC Evo adding real world scanned maps free roam, it could potentially change the way we think about racing games. AC EVO could add a social part to the experience. Driving together on public roads based on real world data can add value to the social dimension. Imagine, you have a virtual garage close to the Nordschleife. You can expect your your car, then leave the garage and drive onto the public road. And then you could just drive to the track at an touristenfahrten day in the sim. It would be a full simulation of touristenfahrten. And you could differentiate touristenfahrten from trackdays. Having only roadlegal cars on Touristenfahrten and mixed cars of road legal and race cars on trackdays. Also adding some sort of ingame voice chat where you select people who you want to talk to while driving together. Yes, this could be potentially game changing. There is no other sim that offers a social experience and realistic physics with a huge variety of laser scanned tracks and real world roads in the world of racing games.
Yes, and also I would love for a game where you could do car builds, like in automation, car mechanic simulator etc but with realistic results. That way you could apply real life knowledge in game.
Looks promising, but I’m not impressed with the sounds though. Hopefully it’s just the pre-alpha version, but the Porsche just reuses the exact same sounds from ACC without any tinkering, which never really sounded accurate or great either.
Can't wait to have tons of fun with this. I hope this is the go-to game for all kinds of racing. I can already see the Alpine Cup and Porsche Cup becoming a mainstay daily / weekly race that rivals iRacing in terms of popularity.
Gamermuscle causing absolute chaos at simracing expo. Who would have thought it! Your'e gonna have to buy a few ppl a few cups of tea to make amends lad.
minimum requirements: cpu: Intel i7 8700k / AMD 1500X ram: 16 GB RAM gpu: GTX 1070, RX 580 100 GB of space probably will handle it 1080p single screen when the settings are dialed in and other optimizations are done.
18:06 i love the audio in dirt rally 2.0 i love og assetto corsa, but all the engines just sound like a preset on an electric keyboard with the tone increasing as you accelerate. they dont sound like engines. i guess im in the minority there, as a lot of people like the sounds of some cars in ac. maybe i just have not tried the right mods.

Just for the collisions it will be game changing. Racing in the original Assetto corsa is impossible because even light side taps in GT3s send both cars spinning.
I know exactly what he means, feel exactly the same when I drive ACC after AC, it’s lacking in feel and they tried to cover it with shitty overdone audio, sucks the joy out of sim racing.
Their newly developed graphics engine has average results looking arcadish and not real life like, unreal on the other hand has come a long way, too bad that it cannot be successfully used for racing sims. Driving wise looks like they aim to widen their customer base offering a gaming sim and not a racing sim. Drifters are going to love it.
Maybe i phrased it incorrectly, did not want u to assume that they used unreal, i know this is a newly developed graphics engine they are using, all i am saying is that graphics in gaming have been evolving fast, and this is not the case in sim racing.

you could ask if there's going to be any kind of matchmaking system or will we have to relly again on third party services such as wss and lfm?
What can they say about the single player / career mode? How is it structured?
Thanks for the Video. Super Stuff
Please ask about the freeroam (if there is one), and how large the map will be :)

As a pre-alpha build, AC EVO is looking a solid start.
not getting the ACC depression is all I wanted to hear
thanks for the best review and choosing the words I like
"I don't know if I'm allowed to show this, but they just left us in the room" I cracked xD
Next time nick the hard drive.
Nice idea 😅
I've seen other reviews already, but I trust this guy

Finally a review from a member of the Church of FFB. HAIL DD GIRL
The King of FFB has spoken.... and the whole of Kunos, including the dinner lady has just breathed a huge sigh of relief! It's game on!

Very happy with the first impressions here❤❤❤

For all the tea! I'm racing this no matter what.
I just pray to lord that the ffb resembles AC1 rather than that shocking ACC

The review I’ve been waiting for
Great review, sounds like kunos has really done a number with this one. Along with the mod support is going to be awesome.
I didn't think you was going to mention about "having a brew" , you have redeemed yourself 😅 , carry on 🤘
Awesome ! Thank you so much for being positive🤘🏻🤘🏻🏁🏁
10:15 that's why we love you
The fact it doesn’t feel like ACC is a big win for me
Can't wait to have tons of fun with this. I hope this is the go-to game for all kinds of racing. I can already see the Alpine Cup and Porsche Cup becoming a mainstay daily / weekly race that rivals iRacing in terms of popularity.
Very smooth driving
It looks good, but will it get me away from rf2/LMU which, for me, sets the standard in ffb and pure driving pleasure?
Nice one, GM.
It looks promising.
This is the expert opinion we’ve been waiting for!!! All others pale in comparison
Haha cheeky geezer! Good video!

Does the car feel connected to the road? Where as ACC feels like you’re driving on a cloud.
@@maverickgoose2305 It's your settings that are wrong or your gear if ACC feels like on a cloud...
the review that ive been waiting for ngl
Awesome. Very curious to this game. Nice screen as well.. what type and size is this?
I hope the road texture is more consistent than AC, as I use transducers on my rig. This is gonna be EPIC release! DLC???
Can't wait for Assetto Corsa WRX STI
Looks sick!! 🔥🔥🔥😎
Don’t you dare give me hope GM
Any news on VR implementation?
VR and triple monitor are supported
ive been waiting for this video the only guy i can trust ohh and jimmy lol
HYPE, HYPE, HYPE TRAIN, CHOO CHOO!
Would you please ask about the minimum PC requirements? Thanks a lot!
Is that a new rim? Havent seen it before
But is it "no battle" approved?
What do you think the system requirements are?
What was inside that pc?
I hope my 1070ti will be able to handle it, but I’m very much NOT confident /:
They already published these on Steam, and a 1070 is the minimum required. Usually, on demo PCs, they run a 4090.
minimum requirements:
cpu: Intel i7 8700k / AMD 1500X
ram: 16 GB RAM
gpu: GTX 1070, RX 580
100 GB of space
probably will handle it 1080p single screen when the settings are dialed in and other optimizations are done.
I wonder if it will have DLSS/frame generation etc too.
At last an expert opinion *
* this comment is only a half joke 😉
Finally!

So weird, 3 other content creators I’ve watched all said it feels exactly like accc. Sim Racing is so subjective it’s hard to know
Nice hat
fantastic review.. would love to know how it fairs with RF2 which is where I go for FFB godness! ... but am also a AC1 fanboy!!
It looks very forgiving no ?
yeah
Shut up and take my money!
Isn't it 720hz or is that Project Motor Racing
🎉

convoluted and bizarre review by bald man concludes that this MIGHT be better than AC1?! take my money!
500👍
"I'm definietly not feeling ACC from this" this is like best here. However sound being ACC like is not good news.
ACC sounds are one of the best, what are you talking about 😂
Found the guy who just hates on ACC online and never actually plays it
love to see the fanboy vibes!
‘Fanboy’, aka enthusiasm, passion, zeal😉
Just hope it doesnt have the stupid slipery as ice AC curbs

How does it compare to acc? The holy grail of ffb
Yeah...but is it game-changing?

they make their own engine, graphics are def above average
