    I'd Like to apologize to all of Italy for Marcos words on pizza and to all British people for his words on tea , clearly a man of no taste which only calls into question what choices will have been made for ACE.

    Marco really shows how “real” and relatable these devs and those in charge are. These arent business forward people, these are sim racing customer forward people. They truly care about the game, and it seems that is their number one priority over money. They know the money will come. This game may well be in use for the next 10 years!

      @@fast_mattw8059 It's insane to me but it seems true that many business people do not genuinely understand business. The mentality of people first is absolutely the best way to make money. Especially long term. But money is not the focus, it's the byproduct. Focusing on it is a sure way to dig your business into a hole. Its is a relationship between people, not a game about making money.
      So, one could argue this is the business forward mentality, because the best way for a business to succeed, is to serve the people the best they can. Anything else is a compromise.

    As a filthy casual that doesn't have time to tweak/learn all the different setups, what I'd like to see is these being made public, in-game, or at least the top couple of drivers in each car, on each track.
    I shouldn't have to spend 24/7 on a super nerdy discord channel, or be best mates with the Max to have fun (stand a chance of being vaguely competitive) in a given race.

    This is my dream right now, and it's somewhat looking like some of it might be happening, here me out. I've been wanting a game more suited to single player, car passion, culture, cruising, customising, tuning more akin to Test Drive Unlimited but all based around a proper sim handling system. Could we be getting the areas around Nordschliefe? Can we cruise openly in free roam between tuning workshops and garages scattered around the Nordschliefe? We can pay to run laps on the Nordschliefe at a cost whenever we want, with other players live, with time trials etc. We have our own garage around the outskirts of the Nordschliefe where we collect and tune cars. From there we get invitations from various events, pro drives, championships etc. My goodness, just thinking of all this is really getting me excited. That right there is a game for "petrolheads". Please Kunos, make it happen.

      You PC geeks realize that if it wasn’t for console sales it would be a broken shit game like LMU. The console market IS bigger than PC but there are more entitled, arrogant snobs who derive their self esteem from how many figures they spend on a game wheel on PC that’s for sure 👍

    ACC force feedback is far from "dull" - I don't like the brakes, but the steering is quite ok

    • @Panterluca

      In my opinion good force feedback is not road effects, it’s actually feeling what the car is doing especially at the limit of grip, currently in acc to be really quick takes hours of practice at a circuit to learn the visual cues for what the car is doing, because you cannot feel it as per the developer himself stated that no fake forces are used and only real data was used. Now this is where you need to add the “fake forces” to give you the seat of the pants feel that other simulators have. I know many many people that have come from acc to iracing and the first thing they say is that now they can actually feel what the car is doing and going to an unknown circuit you can be on reasonable pace with very few laps because you can feel that limit

      @@Panterluca I actually feel the opposite
      Going from ACC to Iracing i felt like i felt nothing from the wheel compared to ACC or the original AC

      @@PanterlucaDunno what you're looking for but ACC usually serves you the slip angle of the car on a silver platter. Easy to feel.

    • @Panterluca
      @Panterluca 2 месяца назад

      @@nephisgolfdriver2473 I’m not sure what you’re feeling but as per the developer of the game stated that no fake forces were added to real steering column data, and since feeling oversteer and understeer aren’t felt through the steering column in a real car, but rather through the visual and gforces. Oversteer is your natural reaction to the gforces, the “fake” force that other simulators add is that it forces the steering to turn in oversteer situations forcing you to counter on the wheel. I know many real life racing drivers and they all say the exact same thing about ACC. What you are doing in acc is reacting visually to the oversteer then making adjustments and this takes many many laps.

    Sounds really good. The open world segment especially. Something new for hardcore sim world. Wonder how "lived in" they able to make the world. Something like TDU2 but with good physics would be the dream. Not necessarily the casinos and buying homes (that would seem a bit out of Kunos style) but even if the driving environment has some meaningful goals, like giving lifts to hitchikers, urgent delivery, speed traps. If they would add police chases, for once it doesn't matter if AI rams you lol
