ATS is amazing. I think I'm at level 55 now. I used to run the cross country mod, that takes you coast to coast and up to Canada. Never a dull moment with this game.
Winter Park is a very nice suburb of Orlando, that is where I currently am. It can be a bit costly because its the most expensive suburb of Orlando but it is nice to visit at the least :) Hope you're excited to move I know I was when I did!
Ocoee, apopka, and Altamonte springs in florida are great. Living in Ocoee in a house for about 2 years now. Close enough to the city to have some fun but far enough to not deal with tourists. Good luck with your search!

if you want to see what mods are crashing your game goto to your gamelog.txt file in the american truck sim folder in docs scroll all the way down and you can see on what caused it. that method helped me because jazzyscats mods were outdated so i had to update them.

Might have to try it myself without the GPS. The old 18 Wheels of Steel games didn't have GPS and you always had to pay attention to the signs and remember which route you needed and it did add to the game many times I missed the exit and had to double back.

I would be REALLY COOL to see a vlog of things in charlotte. BTW your flight sim videos from many years ago inspired me to become a pilot. I am currently a pilot in training and love flying my 737-8 max on Vatsim in x plane 11. Thanks for making great videos since the beginning and keep it up! Enjoy your stay in Charlotte.

I came really close to moving to orlando from southwest iowa/northwest Missouri. I got a job offer from disney world and about a month before we were gonna move i came into some very costly car repairs... hope you have better luck than i did!
It doesn't say Prime Inc on the IRL tails either, the only decals on the tails themselves are the TrailerTail logos and reflective markings. (I'm currently pulling a 2015 Prime trailer, so this could be different on newer models?)

Jeff did you know that Prime Inc. is from Springfield, Missouri. Also the truck trailers have jumbo tires. Jumbo tires are the size of two thin tires like duals. I know all for that because my dad told me because he was a trucker.
I really enjoy these videos I just started watching from the beginning and am loving it because you are like the only person I could find that plays trucking sims and also do you need like a high end computer to play that game
you don't need a high end PC but it is a good idea if you want graphics settings like he has :) i can run ETS2 on max settings with a GTX 1060 and an i7 quad core so :)
Thomas Pritchard I can run ETS 2 and ATS with a HUGE list of mods installed with no frame drops i have a N-Vidida Quad Core Processor and 8GB of Ram Of course if i am recording or livestream i do have little frame drops here and there but not horrible ones And the games look FLAWLESS for me, i actually just uploaded a couple ETS 2 videos if you wanna see what i mean

Dude Jeff gotta question if you can answer and direct me to the right area I got amiercan truck simulator, got it installed and then it goes to this window has stop working it is on a laptop,would a graphics card did? When it was loading and I was picking my guy etc etc it was very slow....what am I doing wrong would you be able to help?
Always thought the Trailer Tails/wings look very ugly it's defeating the style of the Trailers now days. That's my opinion though, very sharp Pete and video keep them coming 10-4!!
They need a mod where the tandems on the trailers are set correctly for each state because i noticed tandems on tgese trailers look like they just pulled in a dock and set them so they can unload and show that trailer is empty
To be Completely honest with you, I would go the route of a Penske 26ft. They may be a little more expensive but definitely worth it. Uhauls are underpowerd and burn more gas. Everytime we move we use Penske just because of the quality. Check em Out. You won't be disappointed. Not to mention, they use a Cummins engine in their bigger trucks.
I'd also add that Uhaul's customer service is usually abysmal and a lot of their trucks are badly maintained. You'd probably save money in the long run with all the extra fees Uhaul adds
My 1994 S10 Blazer does not have gps and my flip phone does not do anything except calls and texts. I have lived in this city off and on since 1975, so I can find it, plus I carry a phone book for the map. Yeah, I am pretty old school, except on my gaming... :)
Actually, right here where I live is going to be in totality. We are expecting 30,000 - 50,000 tourists in an 80,000 people city. Small city, but we have 5 smaller towns at the edges, so it is actually a metropolis, which is hilarious.

Not sure why my comment was deleted or I can't find it but I drove for Prime for 9 to 10 years. I never used the trailer tails. I use the gps for speed and truck stops. And 90% of the time mine is right on the money. I'd love to see you go in downtown LA or Vernon, Ca. Lol. In the Pete.
Feature Buddy was just using my cascadia for some Wal-Mart doubles and it's a great fleet truck pretty easy to maneuver and can be quick and haul well depending on engine and tranny options

Might have to try it myself without the GPS. The old 18 Wheels of Steel games didn't have GPS and you always had to pay attention to the signs and remember which route you needed and it did add to the game many times I missed the exit and had to double back.

I like your choice of trailer! Prime's trailer tails don't have the bottom panels but otherwise they look dead on to the real one.

yeah! I don't think ETS and ATS are very performance intensive so it makes things quite easy :)
I only rely on GPS when I'm out of town, but I'm developing the skill of driving without GPS in places I know well.

When you know your city or town Gps is not needed. If it is a long road trip we try to use a road atlas.

for that drop off its easier to drive into the delivery zone and turn around in that space then reverse to the drop off zone
