Lucki is the reason I graduated high school, had PowerPoint and Excel projects to do in my computer classes. Had 3 days to complete like 10 projects. One of them was about a favorite artist, I chose Lucki and it was around the time this project came out (late in the school year). Bumped my grade from a 59 F to a 71 C-. Literally the last grade I needed to graduate
Forget to mention it was last that I truly got into Lucki with Komfortable and I was drunk with my friends and the lines “I think the xans tryna take me” where at the time of drunkenness I was associated the xans with alcohol because at that point me and my friends were drinking every day to every other day😭
Please check out Lucki’s other projects, this one is easily his darkest, it would be interesting to see you react to his more mainstream sounding projects like Freewave 3 and Days B4 3
Son of Sam prolly the darkest but wmb and that one go hand in hand honestly. Syrup talk is probably his coldest, most depressing song, shits literally a cry for help. I’m glad bro is more healthy now. I’d rather him be sippin too much than being off the xans
i know you said you are not a therapist, but what you said from 48:02 up to 50:02 in the video is exactly what my therapist told me and i just wanna clarify and say that what you said isn't some nonsense, that's legitimately really good insight. it kind of made my day hearing you talk about that tbh. anyways brilliant reaction, as always you add so much to the content you're consuming and the music you're listening to unlike any other creator i've seen on this platform. i always leave learning something new, growing a better understanding and appreciation about the albums you react to (whether i love them or not) as i noticed after your videos i tend to like the projects more, so i'm really grateful for you enhancing my music experience (not to mention the amount of enjoyment i get from watching your videos). have a great day, Bob.
this album, poker face specifically, changed my life in high school. doesn't quite have the same replay value anymore since i'm much more grounded & happy lol but a fantastic album nonetheless.
“don’t you love me” touches my soul like no other song… everything he said in that song i’ve experienced personally and also was going through a drug phase when i found it. it was like i was spiritually connected with it
