Hey man. Today I just did this blade swap. Was it just me or did you find that The original blade was kinda snagging? I couldn’t debulk without it snagging on my clients hair. I backed it off a lot too, finally, I decided to switch to fx3 blade and it’s 10x better.
Yea mine snagged a lot too but so so many of my other blades. I feel like it’s hit or miss with any brands blades now a days. I have a hone to soften the edges of my blades so it’s a lil better

Most new blades done come with the tool but I haven’t had any issues with the Allen tool I’ve gotten with my clippers fitting. You could call babyliss there customer service is on point!

Is the new stationary blade with the logo on it rough like the blade that came on the Trimmer? My original blade that came on the Trimmer felt like it was a beta/test blade
@@shawnpurperhart173 in my opinion most trimmers can be rough but it varies from skin to skin. The new blade to me still snagged so I have a less sharp fx that I use
I have the beta/ unofficial blade, it’s complete trash. This trimmer should have came with a good blade. Especially with a $160+ price point, that means I have to spend $40 more. Bring the total to $200+ for a trimmer. 🙃 robbing us blind.

No difference I do believe one is a beta blade they had when they first released vs the replacements

Not gunna lie I got my fx3 joints and I couldn’t wait to use it I cut my self on my neck 😂 but I love them I’m going to adjust it later

Got a new blade and no Allen tool fits I tried the right size and the tool isn't available anywhere. Babyliss trash for that.

Yea still sharp. With any blade always check the adjustment some are perfect but some are crooked

I don’t believe so just because the fx blades and dlc blades are the same and the regular fx blades dont fit
