Yes I’ve done that mod and the other missing mod is the 3350 mah ion rechargeable battery and why?So my magic clips can handle the power with the motor high torque by gamma + and with this new battery will handle capacity and give you more run time than your regular magic clip battery and new motor matches and balances with the new 3350 mah rechargeable battery. After this upgrade modification your magic clips will be your new normal and will last and handle bulk a plenty of clients
The motor is still 3.7V so it would run the same time the difference is that gamma uses 2600mha batteries and WAHL uses 2200mha batteries that would hold less charge
A more powerful motor always means less runtime on an equivalent battery. And actually the original Senior motor (made by Mabuchi motor) is as powerful if not more than this Gamma.
Just installed this gamma super torque motor on my wahl senior cordless I Just notice a slight difference. My wahl senior 100th with only a tomb 45 battery has more power.
@@sergeantlincolnosiris just be careful, I’ve had couple instances with tomb45 batteries not working properly. My magic updated edition didn’t like it, the light would stay on like if I’m using it but the clipper was off and unplugged. Only way to fix that was unplugging battery and replugging which was a hassle.
Just a note everyone. The reason why your seniors last longer than any of your chinese clone clippers like babyliss,SC and Gamma is because all the parts are from the USA. Yes even your dynamo motor. Once you start swappung inferior chinese motors is when you see reliability issues. Just a note

Is brushless motor better than original rotary motor on magic clip? Does it have more torque?
Yes it's better, longer lasting life

I believe the Senior motor is excellent and what fits this Wahl model the best, I just would like to know how to source one...

Change the wahl battery out for the tomh45 eco battery. The power is more consistent
