Courtesy of White's cheapness it cost Oliver a lot of customers, between the 310T Waukesha, repurposed Moline engines, and the 1250 abomination. To try to save themselves the 2-105 was released 3 years early.
Very nicely done, it's good to see taking the extra time to use original intake and exhaust positions on the sheet metal too. Looks like it was made that way. Great to see people reviving old iron. 👍✌️
Great job with your conversion! The 5.9 is an awesome engine and makes the 1955 a great tractor! I’m glad to see that you left the tractor in its original patina. Only thing I’d do is add a 4” straight pipe to her so I could hear that Cummins talk!
Great job. I always wanted to find a 1955 setting and do an engine swap on it. They were an awesome tractor. I have a 1974 model 1755 with the short radius front end we bought in 1976 when it only had 220 hours on it and it has been a great tractor.
My dad wished that he’d have done that to his 1855. Which was my favorite tractor next to his 1650. The only issue I have with this video is that when you have it all torn apart you didn’t repaint it. Sounds great though
Awsome build!, this will help me out a lot of when I go to build my Cummins powered 1955 pulling tractor. Still got a lot of homework to do though! Do you have a link to the conversion kit? I looked on their website and I couldn’t find it?
Well done, looks nice. You should be proud. It just looks like a farmall international harvester, I don’t know that much about tractors but I find them neat looking.
It was provided in the kit we bought from Maibach Tractor, since this was an industrial engine(out of a generator) we were able to just use a different bell housing, if you’re using a truck engine they will provide an adapter plate to run the stock bell housing
Thats why i asked about hp. Factory was 110 pto i think. Engine maybe 130 hp? Looks really nice. I worked with several oliver/white engineers at white new idea in coldwater ohio and got famiiar with some of those tractors and we were using B and C cummins engines at that time.
Did you actually have to buy a 'new' exhaust manifold? I'm going to re power a 2-105, and have been searching for 5.9s.. so few seem to have the correct exhaust orientation @@KeepingUpWithOzzy
@@KeepingUpWithOzzya 1955 with a Cummins, new paint and about everything else including the hydraul shift gone through, sold on auction time 2 years ago for 31000, I believe.
Awesome! I know of a 1755 I could buy that needs a engine, im partial to 310s, but a 5.9 is far superior 😅. How much did it roughly cost if you dont mind be asking?
Oliver’s were always an underrated tractor. They were built very solid.

3:10 I see that plate in hand to cover the turbo inlet. That feels like some hard-earned experience right there.
Haha yes sir just in case
GREAT WORK!!! It Looks like it was supposed to be there!!
I wish I would have done this to my 1955,got a bunch of money building it twice, Brad at Maibach tried to get me to do it
Brad has been a big help in this whole process
The old 1950 looks great, the paint waxed up terrific for sitting out like it did.

ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING 😂
Very well done! It’s cool to see a Cummins in a tractor!
5.9 Cummins is the best!
I'm impressed it ran so smooth at first startup. Good job. Any idea on horsepower?
We had it running on a stand shortly before the install, and probably 160-180 ish
My dad wished that he’d have done that to his 1855. Which was my favorite tractor next to his 1650. The only issue I have with this video is that when you have it all torn apart you didn’t repaint it. Sounds great though
Sweet, awesome job!👍👍

I would give Brad up at Maibach Tractor a call, he sets up the kits specific for what you’re working with
@@KeepingUpWithOzzy sweet thanks!
Nice work! Sounds and looks good
Great build guys!
this is my childhood big tractor on the farm. what an amazing find!!!
Well done, looks nice.
You should be proud.
It just looks like a farmall international harvester, I don’t know that much about tractors but I find them neat looking.
What horsepower is it?
Probably 210hp at the flywheel. That is significantly more than the original engine had.
Any interest in taking on another conversion??
Great job! Hard to beat a 5.9
What bell housing do you do to get the 3 speed hooked up?

NICE Swap!!
Dream of mine

Can make 130 HP - - VERY EASILY!!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍Hell Yeah...........!!!!!
That is so freaking awesome 👏! I love it
What did you use for turbo drain line?
Maibach Tractor is a company in Ohio that sells the parts and even a full kit to do the swap

@@KeepingUpWithOzzy
@@punhoss yes, a new exhaust and intake manifold was included in the kit we bought from Maibach Tractor
How much would you sell it for? Asking for a friend
Make me an offer lol

cost and sources would be cool
Got the entire swap kit from Maibach Tractor for about $4,500 ish

About $4,500 for the entire swap kit from Maibach Tractor
That’s not including the engine
@@KeepingUpWithOzzy okay, thanks! yeah, finding the engine is the most expensive part. But the kit is pretty reasonable, I thought it was more
wish I had a 1955 I have a 1650
nice repower, about how much hp does it have?
Probably around 200
Sweet !
4:39 IS THAT THE SOUND OF A CASE INTERNATIONAL 1455XL WITH A BIT OF TURBO
Update i think it is yeah
I'll buy your ol' liquid-to-air aftercooler that you took off the engine
She’s already gone
Nice job.👍👍👍👍👍
