I really love hearing you say you want to make the same Ogden dress every year. Most people I know will sew a pattern only once, which seems wasteful. To love a pattern enough to repeat it, and add your own variations is far more interesting. I'd love to see more about how you return to a loved pattern and give each iteration its own look.
@@Marialla. Interesting, see, I wish I could vary it up a bit more. I keep returning to the same patterns. It is cost effective, and it's nice to know the ones that fit just right. Thanks for being here, and I'm excited to show you the variations I come up with😊
@@megaflydiy Oh, I'm not saying you can't do other patterns! You are such a creative person it is always interesting to see how you personalize your garments. It's very inspiring! You have such a great sense of personal style. I wish I had that strong a grasp of my own best style.
With the mason jar fabric just think that when you look down its the right way up for your view, its personal so you can admire the print! ❤ great projects thanks for sharing the good and the feedback points where well explained have subscribed to follow you for more inspo!
I’m appreciating the patience you use when you want to adjust your makes. I would either mess it up by immediately ripping it apart without taking the time to ponder the possibilities or bury it in the back of the closet. Not something I’m proud of….. but hearing your tone when you are talking about problems you will solve is very zen (for lack of a better word) and thoughtful. This is only the second video I’ve watched but I enjoy the feel of them. Beautiful fabric choices too.✌️
@@bonnieyoung3370 oh I'm right there with you! I'm trying to be better and not rip things apart immediately. I've found I generally hate everything when I first make it😆 but if I let them sit, I generally really like them. That, or I think of a way to alter them so I do. Thanks so much for watching 😊
Really nice clothes and I appreciate your candid feedback on what you think you might have done differently. I often have to make up a pattern a few times before I get it right. 😊 also after I lost my curly, brown, thick hair and it grew back straight, blonde and thinner, I am trying to embrace the change so I totally understand the hair thing.
@@mhtammi thank you, ha! Very funny, we basically swapped hair. Lucky I've wanted curly hair my whole life...but yeah, change takes a little getting used to.
so glad I found you. I admire your willingness to recreate and adjust to make things work. I'm assuming you lost your hair from treatment,, as did I. May all that be behind you and more creativity ahead.
@@gigihanley9757 thank you, and yes. I had a stem cell transplant due to a leukemia relapse 🤞 second time is the charm. I wish you well in your healing as well.💕
Everything you’ve made is just gorgeous, I especially love the Ogden cami dress, the fabric is amazing and the dungarees such fun! I’m very glad I found you, your videos are so lovely to watch 😊
They are all wonderful!
Love everything especially the overalls. Happy to find a new channel to subscribe to.
Love it all ❤
Beautiful makes. I love the way you explain your makes. Thank you for sharing.
The orange really suits you❤

Some lovely makes. Well done. I'm in the process of making a shirt into a dress using 3 other shirts.
@@W3ndyPearc3 oh, I love that idea💕
@@megaflydiy Yep, gingham style 😃
lovely video. Really love how you made the animal print tank work even though the amount of fabric on hand was...less than optimal, lol.
@@hesterprynne5967 thank you, yeah I'm glad that all worked out
What pattern was the Fig Overalls? love them!
It's a mash up between the butterick 4439 and the original idea was the Barry pant by style arc...but it went a bit wild
I'm surprised to hear you used to be blonde. You definitely seem warm-toned to me now, with practically auburn hair.
@@Marialla. I KNOW!! it's crazy. I'm pretty much the exact opposite now...what am I going to do with my cool tone fabric stash?🤣
