It was incredibly difficult. It's a cool novelty item, but I missed a tab and partially ripped it before I even got the book open. Spent more time opening the book than reading it, really.

The tabs on my books didn't come out so easy, there was minor tearing of the holders. I wouldn't do this again I don't think.
