It is impossible not to be surprised and not to admire how Mr Xavier Pironet performs such complex masterpieces of Bach`s genius, which not all professional organists succeed in, and in fact, he (if anyone does not know) is an AMATEUR musician! 👏👏👏
The depth and complexity of this piece is just mind-blowing, especially on the Hauptwerk. What an outstanding interpretation!
Kudos for playing from memory. IMHO that is when magic musicianship happens.
Brillante interprétation !... et pourtant : ce qui me frappe ici, c'est l'apparente simplicité et la sobriété du jeu, malgré la difficulté technique de l'oeuvre. La musique semble couler de source ; ni étalage ni esbroufe, tant dans le matériel utilisé que dans l'exécution. La modestie et l'effacement au service de la grandeur... Magnifique paradoxe ! Un vrai travail d'artiste. Merci !

Simply perfectly played, never heard so a fine and clean interpretation of the voices in this piece. Great pedal technique! Lots of “big” organists are not able to do this like you! Bravo maestro!!!
Bravo!!! This is my absolutely favorite piece for Organ of all time. I have never heard this piece voiced so clearly and so cleanly as I have with your playing. I have multiple recordings of this work from famous organist, yet, you play better than all of them put together x1000! Bravo, and keep posting these wonderful videos!

Mr. Pironet's Instagram account claims he's an "amateur musician" ..... I'm not sure what that means ... because in terms of quality of performance and interpretation he's on par with most "Professionals" I know ..... if not better! .... RUclips must not be paying him enough, despite me watching these wonderful performances day in and day out !

Wow, you play excellently! :-) Gratulation! The bass pedal part can be even a bit more audible in the mix of the manual voices, in my opinion. Are you playing in churches? Well. you should be!! :-)
Thanks ! I guess that the speakers I use for mixing are too good. I should also check the final mix on a laptop... And I don't play in churches ;-)
