The Yoshimoto cube blew my mind! I like puzzles. I've been cubing for years even though I'm terrible at it. Infact Chris Ramsay's puzzle channel got me into picking! I wish I could afford the puzzles he opens. But really, high sec locks are just as cool and much cheaper.
I've recently watched several videos about the Yoshimoto cube. Some of them say that Naoki Yoshimoto designed 3 different cubes. The one you've featured is number 1, but the Geobender/Shishido cube seems to be Yoshimoto cube number 3. I haven't been able to find much about Yoshimoto cubes 2 and 3 outside of RUclips. Cube 1 is part of the collection at MoMA in New York, which seems to have made it the most well-known.
Oh, scrolling up the page past my list of recommended videos, I'm reminded that Naoki Yoshimoto has a RUclips channel where there's a video that demonstrates all 3 cubes.
I got a geo cube for Christmas and ordered two more took me a while to figure out how to get back into the cube but I worked it out from star to cube
As a dude with ADHD this is extremely satisfying! I already bought a geobender cube and I hope it’s gonna be very calming for me

"Makes a nice toy for a child"
Dude!!! I felt that one. Right in my guts...ooof!!
Me too: I felt it as soon as I said it! :-)
The one that looks like metal and gold actually holds together much better because it's not made out of some cardboard looking material
Those cubes are very cool, nicely done mate 👍

They have them in alluminium too.
I LIKED GEOBENDER
imo infinity cube is a yoshimoto cube with half the functionality and more durable joints
Fidget toy is for me. It requires little thinking
Edit: the first one you showed. The other ones spin my head
Very cool. Did you get a new camera?
Nope... same camera. (Pixel phone). I think the lens had got pretty mucky, so I cleaned it, so maybe that's what you noticed?
Where’d you get that geobender
I'm not entirely sure, but I think it came from Amazon. Doesn't look like they still sell it, but they do have other variants to choose from.
Ok thanks
pretty sure that is a Shishido cube
Ah yes, Shashibo cube is one of the names for the geobender cube.
Rubic made it first
