[159] Spin-out! The 1970s puzzle with an interesting solution...
Hi, have you heard of the Journal 29 puzzle books?
Also, what the hell is wrong with you all! There is nothing wrong with this video, you've just all fried your brains watching tictok videos and can't concentrate on anything over 2 minutes long, or doesnt contain somebody pulling stupid faces at the screen. Ugg.
The recurring rules is = odd number of discs: starting point is always the final destination position. Even number of discs: starting point is the tempoary pole. You use this rule with every single iteration and breakdown of each entire movement.
Slow the f**k down. Lol
Opss it explode
Great 3x3x17 is 17 more layers
Mine doesn't have three squares next to each other what to do?
Hmm... is it definitely the same puzzle? It might just be a similar one?
nice video 🥚
Can’t even get mine to be flat when spread out 💀
Took me 4 hours to figure it out by myself 😭😭
Hmm... I found a lock with a chain in the road, same as that small one you showed. I struggled for over an hour trying to feel the "bouncy" thing. Yeah some numbers feel different but I failed, they all had some bounce. I even shone a bright light at it to see if I could see anything between the wheels when pushing the rear button, yes some movement is observed but not really helpful. Is there another way to open it, else it's going in the bin.
Before that get to the point! Damn
Thank you! Your Hermes 3000 is a British keyboard version with the Pound symbol and the extra fractions. The US keyboard version has the number zero symbol and only the 1/2 & 1/4 fractions.
We used to do the 2nd trick in prison using the plastic circle from water bottle after chewing it to make it flat (we did this for comfort in transit vehicle)
how do i keep my Bag safe
I've recently watched several videos about the Yoshimoto cube. Some of them say that Naoki Yoshimoto designed 3 different cubes. The one you've featured is number 1, but the Geobender/Shishido cube seems to be Yoshimoto cube number 3. I haven't been able to find much about Yoshimoto cubes 2 and 3 outside of RUclips. Cube 1 is part of the collection at MoMA in New York, which seems to have made it the most well-known.
Oh, scrolling up the page past my list of recommended videos, I'm reminded that Naoki Yoshimoto has a RUclips channel where there's a video that demonstrates all 3 cubes.

I bought a used breakout box that uses a ML speed dial and just can't find a non destructive way to open it. Surprised by the security. Not too bad of a lock but a pain in the Bottom to defeat.
Propebly best video ever...but you allso speak too musch but maybe its takas it. Anyway, thank's mate, best video so far.
I have this on an app and absolutely despise this game, but only because I can’t figure it out. I’m on a level with 7 rings and have been trying forever.
Holy shit there is no reason this video needs to be 13 mins long.
been trying to open one here, 40 i think, no bounce to it, still trying. maybe they updated them.
Thanks for this, was just trying the tension method for 20 minutes without much luck, looked up your video and I had it open in 15 seconds! Bounce method :)
Where can I get this book from
It's not easy to find, unfortunately, but you could try eBay or AbeBooks, perhaps.
How have people found this so easy. A couple of wheels are bouncy on more than 2 numbers
At long last the star is one again 🙂
Is everyone here gonna skip over the fact I just heard "anti-clockwise" for the first time ever. Is this a common phrase?
In the UK it's the only way to describe the opposite of clockwise...
@@LockPickingCuber gotcha well thanks for the info. Was just new to me haha. Always down to learn
I’m sorry. I didn’t know how I ended up here and honestly I don’t get why this should be discussed by anyone. In addition to the uninteresting nature of the problem, the way the video is presented makes me sleepy. So disengaging. Sorry , but I had to share this. I cannot recover the minutes I spent here.
I think it's safe to say this video was not for you. Sorry you didn't enjoy it! :-)
Mere moron here. 😅... Why should numbers be bouncy?
screw you cube i get the last laugh
สวยมากครับ
Someone should make a graboid puzzle! 🤣
I would definitely buy one if they made it! :-)
THANK THE LORD!!! I'd been trying to solve mine for 2 hours before giving up and looking for tutorials. Yours was the only one that made sense!
Glad it helped! :-)
25:16 - the runes Nick couldn't remember spelled out "LOOK CAREFULLY".
16:11 into the video, and I'm already wondering if "A BRIDGE ACROSS CHAOS" in one of Nick's pictures is going to be explained. I thought it was either a literal instruction to somehow abridge the words "ACROSS CHAOS", or a reference to Paradise Lost (can't remember why now.)
Criminals : 😮😮😮
Mine was so stiff I thought certain bends would break it. Had to look up this video to solve it.
doesn't work
literally had to figure it out myself after the first three steps cs he barely explained how to move it 🤦🏻♀️
I love black panther😘😙
i don't know very good English but I'm ardestend evridin
Well, that isn't thrilling seeing as my workshop unit is locked with one of these outside.... 🙃 It's funny because the guy running the unit clearly bought two but lost the combination of his first one and had to buy a second one as there's one exactly the same just sat on the wall 😂
Excellent video, timed it before and after went from almost 10 minutes just trying randomly to just under 2 minutes
wow! Nice improvement! Glad the video helped! 🙂
I use dollar store key rings -- effectively not locking -- but it is more hassle to open than opening these locks
This is actually pretty smart.
For anyone wondering, Giiker customer support says *all* colors being currently sold are the V2 including the black & primary color ones!
Lets say I have the old version, would these new features also work on it too? Sorry if this is a silly question, but I thought maybe it already have these features but because it didn't include the manual people didn't know about em
I just got one of these and I can solve the first two rows but the last two rows stump me your explanation is amazing never have I seen it this good Amazing work
Even on x2 speed it’s like slow motion 😊
wow thiss bounce method very good managed to open after 20 secons after trying other ways rubbing my thumbs raw
how do you lock it up?
Just bought one of these its coming tomorrow 🙂
After a lot of research I found an easy tutorial. Absolutely easy
