[159] Spin-out! The 1970s puzzle with an interesting solution...
mine is broken my 11 and 12 are basically swapped so i can't solve it. Does anyone know how this happened/how to solve this? (If you can)
You have to pull them out and swap them back. If there are two tiles that need to be swapped, it can't be solved without forcibly swapping them.
Thank you. Well done.
Well they need to add 5 more years now....
Way too much explanation here
Why can’t I push my key in after I double locked it please help(I’m not wearing the handcuffs)
If you pay attention, on the desk in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is a two-color black/white cube. About six months before watching this movie, I found one for something that occurred to me regarding a promotional ARG that I solved in 2009. The series was FlashForward. In playing with mine for just a few seconds, I saw it as a joke. You can’t alter it. Each 90 degree turn doesn’t change the pattern. “The Song Remains the Same.” The Beetlejuice Beetlejuice version has four white and five black cubes per side. I’m not a cube player/solver but isn’t a two color Rubik’s Cube unsolvable? It’s an egg that you can’t scramble or unscramble . Am I correct? If you are curious and ask, I’ll comment more on why I bought it. I was very intrigued to see it on Beetlejuice’s desk. Oh, mine had the colors reversed. Five white and four black.
I think I found my answer. The minimum number of different colors on a Rubik’s Cube is three. As far as why Beetlejuice would have a two color black and white cube, I think it would be connected to his striped (zebra) prison uniform. With him being called upon by saying (you know what), he is set free and he does say “The Juice is Loose.” Yes, it’s no coincidence that Jenna Ortega is in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. 😉 Also, it’s her character that releases him. Saying it three times. The classic Cube is a 3x3 or “three times” puzzle. If we have another sequel, it would of course be named BBB and that would be 3 times 3, adding up the three films. 🤔😱 Three “cubed” is 27. That would make him three dimensional, which is interesting to think about. Film (and comics) are really two-dimensional and not 3-D. They simulate 3-D, with us as 3-D viewers watching them. I have been studying Easter eggs in media that suggest that WE are being watched by 4-D intelligences. It’s Flatland, in a higher dimension.

Great explanation. I could have done without the repetitive music. There’s a reason why music isn’t played in many situations: - a teacher explaining something to his pupils - an interview in a talkshow - while talking to your GP Why on earth do RUclipsrs have the compulsion to ruin perfectly good videos with music?
This video can be used as a form of torture, I feel dumber having watched it, just get to the fucking point
Im guessing it retracts a bit to clear the sword but not losing sleep over it Bye
It worked for me. Thanks!
Very nice explanation, I enjoyed watching this. I also learned some interesting history that I was unaware of. Incidentally, my son previously held the Guinness World Record for solving 10 of these puzzles, which he did in something like 2 1/2 minutes. The record has since been broken but he had fun holding the record for a couple years.
Are the faces stickers, or tiles? It looks like stickers.
Yep, it's stickers.
How would i pick it? Provably using a similar principle to bump, or pickgun, by using a few small motors in a row, with a slightly off centre magnet on each shaft, and maybe some kind of odd gearing so the patterns that they oscillate with each other is elliptical, and a speed controller. Outside of that? Grinder.
I didn't have a problem removing the 1 way screw I just put strong downward force on it and jiggled it around and it eventually came loose due to the weak padlock material
Level 7/10 security according to master lock
Hi, thought I would comment to let you know that the site doesn’t work currently.
Thanks for the alert -- I'm sorting it out now.

There's always a hacksaw
Guys pls help me mine in flattened in a different way 😭
Sadly due to a fluke you missed the cool bit where you count the wheel clicks to get the 3 digit code
Can you do it a little bit faster next time?
Sure, although luckily RUclips has a feature that lets you speed the video up as you watch it...
Im trying what your doing but my pzzle is so tight it just binds up
It's actually just that you need to do the moves very, very carefully. It always feels tight, but if you find just the right angles, it will move smoothly. Don't give up!
Good
Is there any combination lock you DO recommend?
I had to do The search of shame!
wow your video is very good, especially the 5:05 part is very fast
some kid gave me a wood block version of this and it boggled my noodle. thanks for this.
Why did you stop uploading
Life got in the way... Plus I started another very different RUclips channel...
@LockPickingCuber what RUclips channel did you start
@Andrew-u9h9o It's called Scruffy Leadership -- it's aimed at software engineers that are transitioning into leadership / people management. Here it is, if you'd like to check it out: ruclips.net/channel/UCJsrWXOiRPDDcqQ0VDNZrBQ

Ok but can’t you just lower one piece and raise the other
Sadly, not. It wouldn't be much of a puzzle if you could, would it...? :-)
Ok but why can’t you do that
Wait nvm I see why. They’re slanted
We used to have this amazing lock in early 1990s when I was in school. It took 30 years to understand how it exactly works. Thanks a lot for explaining :-)
Pretty sure some couples are watching this too..
Clear, concise, informative, easy to follow. You are the best teacher! Thank you!!
watching this after seeing ths solution is so entertaining 😂 cool vid!
😃
Solved in seconds with this video - have battled with it off and on for days on my own 😅
Is it just me that can't hear what he says? Audio is barely audible.
OMG been driving myself crazy with this until I found your video
Magic sword slow motion
What a rip off of the LPL. Even the logo is similar. pathetic !
Nice video thank you! A star is born. 😂
These are genuinely awful locks… fiddly to dial numbers into.
Thank you for telling this trick 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
300th like let’s go!!
I feel like Master makes all their locks deliberately have a major weakness despite aggressively marketing all the really neat security features.
How much
THANK YOU
I actually managed to snag one for 70 on ebay, still sealed in its box. I almost died when you opened it, but you wanted to open it, and thats okay 👍 I was genuinely looking for it for the same reason. I don't collect rubiks cubes, but i do collect vintage and antique things, and some things from wednesday too if i can. Unfortunately the typewriter is impossible to find for cheap. So maybe when i get more money, ill prioritize getting it. Loved the video. Sorry i get side tracked and type unnecessary things (:
