um can anyone clarify to me what god means by not relying on your own efforts? like when im playing badminton, i will have this fighting spirit to win or when im competing i will have an excitement dojng it but isnt that like relying on my efforts?
God is the one who gave you the heart to play so passionately well. Not relying on your own efforts, in this instance, means that you give God the credit for blessing you when you win. And for just being able to play. In the other instance, it means that you choose to accept and receive that what Jesus paid for, you could not do on you own. He had to do it all, so that you can be totally free. Check out Psalm 32.8; and Galatians 3.13.it'll help you.
