I have a ultrafire t6 flashlight advertised at 2000 lms I compared it to another flashlight and I think ryan willis is right it seems to be 500 lms but I like mine better than my Maglite my xml can cover a large 8ft in front of me on flood it is my favorite.

The best XML-T6 flashlight I have bought is from the brand Alonefire.It have dropped it many times and keeps on working fine.Beware of company's that sell cheap light aluminum flashlight.Alonefire also has many other flashlights for hunting,camping.

plastic tube is only for 18650 battery.
If you use 3 x AAA batteries you don't need insert the plastic tube.

just a heads up this flashlight is great however the chargers that come with this light isn't that great the battery falls out or moves around. best thing to charge the battery is just buy a intellicharger i2 charger it charges the battery fast and gives a complete full charge.

@@jamievanvliet8143 sounds like a single 18650...u dont need the cartridge when using it.. there should be a hollow plastic sleeve though that goes in the flashlite to keep the 1 battery from floopng around
Hey, I did not receive the same piece as you did for the batteries, I only got the tube. I've been sitting on these flashlights for a year or so because I cannot figure out the plastic tube! When I try to make it work, the tube sticks out the end and you cannot put the piece that keeps the batteries in place because of that tube being too long! Any suggestions? GREATLY APPRECIATED!

krzysiek524 mine unfortunately was a generic brand and lens was loose and now charger doesn't work. And the 18650 battery turned out to be a fake too !! It says 5000mah and I was told they only go as high as 3400mah. DO NOT BUY FROM VISTALIFE408 on eBay. I got ripped off !!!! I'm dealing straight with the Fenix site from now on. I like Fenix better anyway. PD35 ultimate.

What does that mean to just ship the rechargeable battery. I mean we have received only main torch and one white plastics cylinder.. no rechargeable battery.. instead i always wondered when the box had written rechargeable on ot.. i am always using batteries cells to use the torch.

Hola muy buenas,
La linterna la uso para todo, en condiciones de oscuridad total proporciona una gran iluminación en sitios cerrados o distancia cercana.
En cuanto a la distancia de foco, aunque tenga zoom lejano, en condiciones de oscuridad total, proporciona una iluminación decente hasta unos 100 metros.
El haz de luz sigue mas allá de esos 100 metros pero solo sirve para que te vean hacer señales o marcar objetos lejanos, no hay suficiente potencia como para percibir con detalle los objetos situados mas allá de unos 100 metros.
Te pongo ejemplos de uso donde me ha funcionado perfectamente:
- Ciclimo nocturno (pistas forestales, condiciones de oscuridad total).
- Senderismo nocturno (condiciones de oscuridad total),
como te decía en campo abierto el haz de luz puede llegar a mas de 500 metros pero solo proporciona iluminación efectiva los primeros 100 metros.
- Excursiones en interior de cuevas (condiciones de oscuridad total).
- Iluminación extra para reparaciones de dispositivos electronicos.
La lámpara alumbra a un radio de 250 metros o mas
Charging time
I wish light manufacturers would stop grossly overstating the lumen output of their lights. A Cree XM-L T6 LED is good tor 910 lumens at maximum drive. That 910 lumens is the measurement from the bare LED, and those zooming lights are very inefficient, so a good 40-60% of that light is just lost in the optics, so assuming that the emitter is actually getting the full 3 amps of drive it needs, you still will get only ~500 lumens, one FOURTH of the advertised output. Don't believe me? look up Cree's datasheet.

When I put my light meter on the spot beam, it actually showed 1,968 Lumen on the digital read out. Also, I measured the current at 3.8 volts showing just over 3 amps. That's about 12 watts. I wonder how this equate to Lumen?
***** I've never seen a spot light meter that reads in lumens, they always read in lux which aren't quite the same. Lumens are a measure of the total quantity of light emitted and don't take into consideration angles or distance: A light bulb that puts out light in a wide arc might have the same total lumens as a spotlight, but since it's not concentrated the lux will be lower. A lux is one lumen per square meter, which means the farther the light is from the tester, the lower it will read even though the flashlight is putting out the exact same quantity of lumens.

Doesn't matter the white tube. You don't need it, it's works fine without it.
I have an accessory for riding a bike. There are not problems with shakes, movements or whatever. It's very stable, rigid, strong... it's perfect for a bike.

@@lzkams battery should work fine without the tube but it will be a loose fit..i didnt have a tube either so i cut a section of thin cardboard and rolled it around the circumference of the battery ,making a thin cardboard sleeve, it works fine and does same job

But if 14500 have the same size that simple AAA, it probably works.

this ultrafire is a fake i have one and it has the r with a circle around it next to the e on ultrafire and also my ultrafire takes four AAA batteries, but the fake is not bad either.
i buy this in ebay for 4$ lol if had 500 lumens works fine for me!! prefer pay 4$ for 500 instead of 30$ for 2000
I bought other one in AliExpress for 9$, inlcude 18650 battery, charger and bicycle holder. New video soon.
This is not the genuine article, it's a copy, you can tell by the light, it should throw a square shape not a circular one. See other videos on the XML-T6. I also bought one and the shape and quality of it is better than this one.

It works very well but it charge over 4.2 Volt.

Ese cilindro mantiene ajustada la pila tipo 18650. El diametro de la linterna es mayor que el de la pila y para evitar movimientos internos se le pone ese plastico.
Pero en la práctica no sirve para nada, la linterna funciona igual sin ese cilindro.
Gracias, no sabia. Oye una mas... Estas linternas despues de un tiempo se deterioran y queda con luz baja el Led o es la bateria la que se deteriora primero? Tengo una semejante pero como no tengo el cargador de la bateria 18650 no se si falla la bateria o el LED!

sinceramente, yo no he notado ningun deterioro en la luz que proporcina. Ten en cuenta que es un led, y aunque sea un led chino tiene una vida util mucho mayor que cualquier bombilla tradicional.
Lo que si te puedo asegurar es que usando la linterna con la batería 18650 obtengo mejor iluminacion que utilizando tres pilas tipo AAA.

El cilindro de plastico no influye para nada en la carga de la batería ni en el cargador. No tiene nada que ver. Ponerlo o no ponerlo es lo mismo.
Si no tiene el plastico y agitas la linterna, oiras como la pila se mueve en su interior, esa es la unica diferencia, nada mas. La linterna seguirá funcionando siempre, con o sin tubo de plastico.

Should have went outside. Not much of showing what the light can do when you're 3 feet from the wall.
These torches are ok, but probably better to buy a Maglite they cost more but are far better quality. and worth the extra.
I have mag-lites , mag is out dated and not as good. Mag use to be the great flashlight , but I can buy the big one for $29.99 at Dicks and it can be found cheaper. But still a good flashlight. Cops use to carry them as self defense cause they are heavy and solid.

as long it works, I tested 272 lumens i did a comparison. mini maglite 272 lumens vs led lenser p5.2r 270 lumens. My goss not what I expected to be hit....
If you did this comparison yourself real life your gonna be flip that led lenser p5.2r is gonna time way to bright then mini maglite and the focus lense is more way more creamier focusable beam very tight compare to the maglite that pretty hard to make it tight beam and worst when you try to adjust to beam it loses some lights cause of the reflector design while the p5 cause of the lens design it will collect more light once you zoom in.
