    ABOUT THIS VIDEO:
If you’re considering moving to Hollywood Hills, this video is a must-watch. Luxury agent, Tony Mariotti, explores everything from breathtaking views to local wildlife and architectural gems, giving you an inside look at what makes Hollywood Hills both an amazing and challenging place to live.
    1. Incredible Views
Hollywood Hills offers some of the best panoramic views in L.A. From downtown skylines to ocean vistas, the scenery is unmatched. However, with great views come the cons of weekend traffic and aircraft noise. We’ll show you some traffic choke points and share tips on navigating these issues.
    2. Nature and Trails
With easy access to Griffith Park and Runyon Canyon, nature lovers will thrive. Enjoy weekday hikes for a more serene experience, but beware of weekend crowds and "road biscuits" on certain trails.
    3. Lush Vegetation
The lush landscapes provide privacy and beauty, but they also bring dust and allergens. Learn how to manage these issues and comply with local brush clearance ordinances.
    4. Wildlife
Experience the thrill of spotting diverse wildlife, from coyotes to bobcats. However, remember to protect your pets from potential encounters with these animals.
    5. Centrally Located
The Hollywood Hills is centrally located, making it easy to access various parts of L.A. Yet, traffic congestion, especially around the Hollywood Bowl and 101 freeway on-ramps, can be a major downside.
    6. Architectural Diversity
From Mid-Century Modern to Spanish-style homes, the architectural variety is a huge plus. But be prepared for the maintenance and costs associated with older properties.

I loved living in the Hollywood Hills. Our house was in Nichols Canyon, not far from Runyon Canyon Park. Hiking was excellent and the views were fabulous. My only major gripe was that the power went out almost every time it rained or the wind kicked up very hard. The neighbors were friendly and fun to talk to. Access to both Hollywood and the Valley was great. I’d move back in a heartbeat. Leaving was a huge mistake.

I can relate to the power outages! Great timing of your comment, too. There are crews in Beachwood Canyon right now replacing power poles up and down Beachwood Drive. It's been a multi-week project. I'm chuckling to myself wondering if -- for all the infrastructure upgrades -- how ironic it would be for power go out during our first winter storm. Only time will tell...
