- These giant pumpkin plants are ready to take off! The main vines are on the ground and ready to run. The vines will soon be growing 12+ inches per day. Definitely going to make bury vines and weeding a task that will be tough to keep up with. At least the hoop houses are weeded now. Won't be long until the plants are too big for their hoop houses.

plants are really starting to take off now dude
Looking back at pictures from last year, I think my plants are a few days ahead this year. Hopefully that is all I need to get over 2,000 lbs.
Looking great! I’ve had an early cucumber beetle arrival too. First striped and now spotted.
I haven’t seen any more since I sprayed that plant at my parents farm. Haven’t seen them at my house yet, but those plants are still fairly closed up in their hoop houses.
Looking great. My 1005 Clementz is starting to take off as well, about 3 to 4 feet now. It will be fun to watch your videos and compare our 1005's as the season goes along.
I look forward to hearing updates on how your season progresses.
How long do they get before you start to bury?
I actually just started burying some this morning, which you will see in my next video. I usually only wait until they are a couple inches long. I am just really struggling to find time right now. I typically do it every few days, if possible. If it is like last year, I will probably get up early on the weekends to get caught up with weeding and burying vines.
