That's exactly what I thought. After seeing this, I'm thinking Jamie might die in Brienne's arms. My guess would be in a battle against Cersei's army. Because I'm convinced Jamie is the one to kill Cersei, so I do think he'll make it through the battle of Winterfell. I like the idea of Arya using Jamie's face to kill Cersei, but I don't think that will happen unless Arya kills Jamie. Because I think she has to peel the faces herself for her to use them. But who knows when it comes to this show. The only predictions I've made and gotten right was Jon Snow coming back to life, agreeing that R+L=J, and that Jon would ride a dragon. I also thought Tyrion might be a Targaryen, but even if that ends up being the case in the books I don't think it will in the show now.
But yeah... Them saying they texted each other first about their final scenes gives me a lot to speculate on.

And now I get it. The whole show is ruined. They botchered Jaime´s and also Brienne´s whole arcs... Like it was nothing. I am soooo sorry for the actors, who put time and effort into it. Mostly I feel sorry for Gwendoline. I mean, this must have been torture for her! The script is an utter nightmare! Horrific! It is sooo bad, I wish it would have never aired.
This is the exact point I was going to comment here! I watched their interviews after ep. 5 and I kinda feel bad for the actors during Q&As. Also, I kinda picked up subtle hints on Jaime and Brienne's fate in these intervies, and you can see they dodge the questions about if they were satisfied about their characters.
@@JoyceCatolos Exactly. Pure disappointment. If you watch the interview before season 8, they are hinting at a possible romance. Nikolaj even said multiple times, he is sure, they love each other. And now we get this crap of a script just so they can shock the audience with stupidity.
Jamie died being in love with Brienne. He went back to Cersei because he didnt feel like he deserved Brienne and he wanted to save his sister. He didnt kiss Cersei at the end, he didnt come back to Cersei romantically. It would be out of character for him to be able to turn a blind eye to someone hes always cared so much about being killed. You can only really say that he chose Cersei over Brienne if Brienne was dying and he went to save Cersei instead, but that's not the case. Brienne was fine and and safe and he felt like he wasnt good enough for her and felt a duty to save his sister and twin.
In a previous interview, Gwendoline said she had read the script through completely when she received it, and it left her angry. She said a lot of things were left without getting the justice they deserved, and the ending left her mad as hell. Ever since that interview, she's just said how well it was written, like someone talked to her. I'm thinking her story's end is going to be sad and shocking and not at all what fans would want.

I think Jamie will kill Cersie and than kill himself because he said that he wanted to die in the arms of the woman he loves that has sadly been Cersie untill now, this also goes with the theory that she will be killed by her younger brother, and i think that way Jamie will redeem himself by freeing the rest of them of her, there was also the fact that i think Cersei said that they have been together since they were in the womb, and that adds up to them duying together. Ps. I am hoping Briene and Jamie end up together and live happily ever after, but knowing game of thrones this is more like it
