IM AWARE U CANT “OPEN” PORES. A warm compress can help loosen sebum. I simplified it cause people seem to just understand better when u say “open pores.” I will state it in detail next time. Sorry for disappointing those who stated that I was spreading misinformation.

As a korean I'm shocked it costs anything in an spa because it's usually just a thrown in free kind of thing. Also mediheal doesn't want you to know this but modeling masks are much cheaper bought in bulk packing(1kg about 12dollars) so this all could have been about 10 cents Modeling masks also actually have no other benefits besides cooling and soothing so no need to pay extra for a fancy one.

Does Hot or Warm Water Open Your Pores? Because your pores can't open or close, this idea is a myth. However, there are benefits to using warm water in your skincare. Although pores can't change in size, they can become clogged and even stretched with things like oil, dead skin cells, and dirt.

pores do not open and close, be wary when consuming advice on the internet, especially health/skincare advice. do your own research and use terms like “soften” or “tighten” instead of open/close.

    Why not tap water?

Because she's wrong, tap water is actually way less regulated. Marketing made ppl think it's better but it's been proven to be way less safe and clean.

I'm pretty sure those masks are just alginate and you can get 1 pound pretty cheaply (that's dental grade to boot)
