- Abandoning a Follower can have some terrible consequences. Meet The Skinless, a Special Scar Personality in Shadow of War!
The Skinless, Raw-Head, or the Ever-Wounded, occurs when a Follower is abandoned in a rescue mission, either by walking away from the mission or not doing it at all.
Requirements:
- Abandon a follower who has the same voice as the one in the video (similar voices can also get it, but which ones has not been determined yet).

This guy (who can also get the title "The Ever-Wounded") is probably the special scar that involves the most RNG. First, you need to have a Captain with the right voice, as usual. Then this captain needs to be captured in a mission. Normally, a Captain can either win, die, flee or get captured. His level and the level of the captain he is going against can affect the outcome of a mission. Then, we have three outcomes for resolving a rescue mission: Your Captain escapes, your captain dies forever, or your captain dies but cheats death. Obviously, I worked with a lot of back up reloading here. Otherwise, it would take a long time of unlucky RNG for this to work.
An additional point: My first test subject was an archer, and he refused to get this personality every time. I am not entirely sure if it's because the class, but for the time being, just avoid trying it on archers.
This is the last special scar vid. Until DoM arrives, I possibly won't have more videos, unless some of the crazy stuff I am planning yields good results.

Nope, they can get captured while attempting a mission against another captain.

I know this type of uruk spawns way too often, but are you gonna do a video on "the Bitter"?
I wished that they would add a history of what ever you did to that orc captain. Cause sometimes I forget what I did to them.
I went back to minus morgal like 30 levels later and one of the orcs was like “I bet you don’t remember me, what you did to me? Do ya, it’s been so long.”
And I was like yep, who are you again?
I got this scar with a totally different voice, and a new dialogue. “Why didn’t you rescue you me? Did you know what they did to my flesh?? All the cutting and slicing. Let me show you!” I also got the Ever-Wounded with a whole new voice as well.
Let me correct my comment, yes I got the Skinless scar with a whole new different voice than the one in the video. But, the Ever-Wounded was the same voice in the video. Just had to correct that.
As in your original captain had a different voice? Regarding that, is not just the same voice that can get a special scar, others can as well, but I went for the same every time so I didn't have to figure out which voices could become each personality.
Uruk's Hollow yea my original captain had a whole different voice, and when he cheated death. And, yea i understand. Getting these scars are time consuming. Great video yet again, keep up the good work.

I wish we had another option besides just Kill or Shame, I mean, why don't we have an option like "Scar"? Where we can permanently Scar an orc to remove certain abilities or skills that an orc has, but having a consequence where you could accidentally kill them?

I wish Monolith would make a special Uruk just for you, maybe name him Uruks Hallow or something but he breaks the fourth wall! Yeah a fourth wall breaking Uruk who knows how the game works! My guy (“the Wyrm”) got this scar. Freaked the heck outta me when he ambushed me. I felt so bad that I rebranded him and promoted him to war chief. Unfortunately, while on a mission, I accidentally pressed the “shame” button instead of the “command” one, and now he squeals like a pig. I branded him again and promoted him, but now he honestly terrifies me.

Declan Jones initially, I was gonna go rescue him but forgot, which is how he got the scar. But later on, I just screwed up and hit the wrong button, driving him mad.

My favorite orc died today, but he killed my long time nemesis right before, shack the legendary killed shag the deathless before an enraged enemy olog killed him, shamed the prick till he got 1 shot by a single blade attack. Shack saved me accordingly 14 times and still said he is with the bright lord even when he was captured. Most loyal orc I've ever had...
Also there's a glitch with bodyguard where if you summon him and there's a delay, summon him again, he will betray you, but you will have a cloned version fighting him who will never betray you. So basically you get 2 of the exact same orc/olog fighting each other. Although the one on your side isn't permanently there, so if you leave him he will be gone forever, also he won't betray you even when you hit him.
Will you also make videos on showing us how to spawn in some of the rare orcs that don't require kills for example is there any known way to spawn in The Scorpion, The Tower, The Drunk, The Bard, The Poet, of the Spiders (Keep hitting Fire pits with the Spider ability worked for me) & Pain Seeker (A lot of brutal kills i think)

*Hey Uruk's Hollow. Have you tried importing the glitched up Ratbag in this game? It should be possible, if you can somehow make him your nemisis. Maybe you have to do the game again since you branded Ratbag. I'd love to see a video seeing what happened.*

Does anybody here have info on maniacs? Is there any way to increase the chance of making an orc into one, besides using the “Worse than death” skill? And are there any requirements an orc must meet to become a maniac (for example being at least lvl 20)?

Poison or Spiders. As long as the death involves poison damage, they can get that diseased and "melted" face as a cheated death scar.
I have a question about them returning. Can they return and become your nemesis after you 100% the game?
It is possible. Although seeing a captain cheat death so late into a game isn't very common.
Uruk's Hollow I experienced it earlier and some of my captains cheated death and betrayed me. Though none of my enemies have come back to take revenge.
I ask these questions while being a crazed sociopathic bastard who shows no mercy to anyone and wonders why I don't have a nemesis 😂

The Tower isn't a scar. It's just a rare spawn. Same for The Agonizer, The Gravewalker, etc.
What happens if you use forge to send Ratbag to SOW ( The one you face on after you kill or brand all orcs )
Ratbag is actually locked out of the Nemesis Forge, so it's not possible to bring him over to SoW.
Sorry for the late comment but I have a potentially great idea. I’m not sure if you can get your SoM follower into SoW anymore, but if you can, can you try to get ratbag as a follower, as you did before in a no nemesis run, and transfer him over? You could have your own ratbag clone since you work alongside og ratbag!!!

I got a cheated death + betrayal on a throwaway Uruk in online fight pits
I had a Follower die in an Online Conquest, but he cheated death, got the Iron Mask scar, and said this: "Just wanted to tell you that I'm alive, and I'm back to serve you. Thought you should know.". Then he left. He's still with me to this day.
On another profile though I'm thinking of trying to get the "Skinless" scar with one of my Followers since he's crap anyway so if he dies forever I don't care (the guy literally has 4 Mortal Weaknesses, 2 things that Terrify him, and 2 that instantly kill him). Getting the scar would probably make him much better than he is right now. That Captain's name is actually "Nakra The Weakest". He was a "freebie" I was given when that profile first conquered Nurnen and I had to choose an Overlord (I picked a different Captain as Overlord though, "Mug the Warlock" since he was a Necromancer).
gamester512 yesterday I saw this really unique ork I’ve never seen before called “(something) the spider” he was covered in webs and could summon spiders, unfortunately he wasn’t really great because of his weaknesses but I wanted him just cause he looked cool af, also spider summon was pretty helpful considering he would spam the attack and there’d be like 20 spiders running around.
I’ve actually noticed a lot of unique orks (like with cool scars and shit) and I’m wondering if it because I just hit level 80 or I’m just getting really lucky, either was it’s really cool to see some new orks.
Hey guys,
does anyone of you know a way to trigger a capture mission? You know, those missions where you Orc gets captured during a Nemesis Mission. He loses his helmet and gets a branding scar on his forehead. I want that on my favorite Orc, but I never seem to get one of these missions, no matter how many I send him on.

They need to be overlord and get captured after you lose a castle defense.
@@TheIronSnowMan8D Or send them to attack a Captain that is much higher level than them....though this can actually result in some "WTF?" moments, like how I saw a Level *1* Captain execute a Level 51 Captain.... *two times in a row* !!!! I even have screenshots on my PS4 to prove it.
