Wow! nice sunset from your backyard. I sow that you bought a lot of water, in Costa Rica you can drink agua from the pipe, ask anybody or ask google, here the water is drinkable. I happy to see that you like art supplies, here in Costa Rica the best place to buy art supplies is Art Depot in Escazú, I have watched your painting videos and you are a good artist, I like to paint too. Another thing is that the rainy season is coming and it is a little annoying if you are not used to it because it rains almost every day at evening, never go out without umbrella. Ask always for cheap places to buy groceries, Automercado, FreshMarket or Vindi, are de most expensive markets. God bless and have a good time.
Hi thanks so much for this comment! Sorry I'm now just getting back to you! I really appreciate all of the tips! And yes, rainy season has started and the rain here is WILD! All the best, pura vida!

Hello nice video & house. Are those Home Depot containers? Wife & I are moving in 2022 god willing. Those types of containers seem better than boxes that we were thinking of using. Keep the videos coming. Thanks Geo.😊
Hello from Los Angeles! Your house is beautiful 😻 my family and I are planning on moving to Costa Rica in the near future, but cannot wait anymore lol. It will take some time to get used to not flushing paper into the toilet, best of luck 🤣
BEAUTIFUL VIEW FROM YOUR NEW HOME ! Here are some tips from a Tica / Americana: (1) don't display too much WEALTH when outside your home (jewelry, expensive clothes, etc.) - it will make you a target for thieves; (2) someone should "house watch" when you are away (see #1 above); (3) buy fresh veggies & fruit at the local farmers' market, NOT the supermarket; (4) probably want to get a real pickup truck, instead of the go-cart / 4x4; and (5) Ticos usually expect a "propina" (tip) for delivery, even if just a cold beer !
Can not wait what ur mom is gonna do with the interior design. Those trees block the sunset, maybe trim them is a good idea. Great videos as always Zoe.
I'm looking forward to seeing what she does with the house as well! And yes, we are burring the power lines and trimming some of the trees! We will be replanting some fruit trees on the property in areas where they cant block the view :)
Hi! We are planning to move to CR in a few months and would like to know how you or your parents found information on shipping your things from the US down to CR? Thanks 🙏
Hey there! Congrats on the upcoming move! We used "Get it here jerry". I know my dad did a ton of research and used them. We had a good experience and he is very responsive:)
Haha! $50 is what you'd pay in US not in Costa Rica...$5-10 would have done the trick. Now we know why costs keep going up lol. Time to up your negtiation skillz, part of the routine there! Your vids are getting better, thanks so much, Im there next week can't wait!!! Btw. whats the make on that buggy, I need one too!
Living there is no the same like vacation because the adjustments. Please dont expect to have all the luxury you guys have before, if you guys make friends in Church or Participate in a Volunteer Community Service help you to understand Costa Rican culture and language more easy and better way.
Absolutely! We love the rustic parts of it here and embrace them! And yes, we are getting more involved with the community here to better understand the culture!

De acuerdo contigo no confiar mucho en toda la gente.

You need permissions to trim trees in Costa Rica, and it block my view is not a valid argument :p

Thanks Zoe!!!!
You are so welcome!
9:29 add a lemon, salt and a shot of cacique (costarican liquor) to the soda club and let us know then how was the experience 😅
LOLOL!
Pricesmart (like a Sam's club) or Walmart in Costa Rica also have a good selection of electrodomestics.. There are both in Liberia Guanacaste
Good to know! Thank you :)
Pricesmart is Costco

No entiendo porque compran agua en botellas. En Costa Rica el agua de la cañería es potable.

Thanks so much! We will see you around Nosara very soon!
🤙🏼 pura vida
Pura vida!
Is it just The Nosara area you cannot flush toilet paper? Everywhere I've been, toilet paper was okay to flush!!!! that is interesting
I think there are other places as well. If any of the toilets say "American Standard" on them, then they can flush toilet paper.
Gracias, with a C no S, both sometimes we pronounce the same in Spanish.
CI = SI CE = SE (s) , but,
CA, CO, or CU (K) For example, cocina=kitchen
Thank you for this!
like your videos hope you all having a nice time here
