Well, gotta delete all of my footage now. Great video tho, would love to see more :) PS, The Science of War mission can be cheesed by ignoring the main two islands and going directly towards the enemy production and generators with Twinblades, completely removing any naval threats such as ACs and Hydrofoils. You can also cheese other missions in the upcoming Allied and Japanese campaigns such as, A Monument to Madness, Forever Sets the Sun, The Great Bear Trap, Graveyard of a Foolish Fleet, Barbarians at the Bay and The Last Red Blossom Trembled
Man I have played RA3, TW3 and KW religiously on the 360 and still do. I'm pretty damn good at TW3 & KW, but boy 😅 do I suck at RA3 😂 This video really drives home how much too 😊
25:14 you can also use the level 2 or 3 magnetic satellite to send Kenji MCV and Mecha Bay Core to space, it lasts just about the right time to get rid of both
That is a very interesting solution to the yuri sub problem, I just got a few stingrays to use their ability together to deal enough spike damage to kill them before they kamikaze. The prospector solution is so much easier and much less micro intensive.
As someone who has done this in my own free time with just AI, out of all the missions and expansion missions the only mission that is impossible to do without increasing the unit lost counter is base campaign Imperial 1. You have to use a final squadron on the generator at the start. I won't spoil anything else. Good luck.
You know what's a good way to cheese Yoshiro's Oni? Natasha's pilot snipe works on it. If you use her ability he'll just stop functioning. Can not be taken over, but can't fight back, either
On to tame a living god I always use Natasha to snipe the emperor mech. For some reason you're allowed to do that. It won't end the mission (despite presumably the emperor being dead) but the mech will be unable to fight back
You know that sickle that gets killed in Circus of Treachery's cutscene by tankbusters? Yeah, that unit CAN survive. It's very, very luck based. The tankbusters literally stopped shooting it for me when I was young on the DvD I have. The sickle had like 1/100 HP left, it's bar was gone, yet it still was alive. I healed it with the next crate. I found it pretty cool. But this never happened again. Tankbusters would always bust it before it got out of range. Because for me, it got out of range and the busters stopped trying to bust it. Meaning the sickle could escape and fell under my command. Very sure I wasn't dreaming, as DvD RA3 for me has occasional bugs occur. And as a kid I did as deathless as possible to preserve units. Sill do. Sometimes my camera bugs and I can zoom through the map which is hilarious. But these bugs are very, very rare. Like 1 in 1000 chance of happening. Been trying to get it to happen but no luck. It's RNG based I suppose.
About "No Traitors Tomorrow" mission. You could have just sent your engineer to capture MCV and then the whole base and army, except the bunker, would have been yours.
I noticed the subs suicide after taking damage I think the reason 2 suicide next to each other in front of the ore collector is because they're damaging each other in the splash damage whereas 1v1 the yari sub can't damage itself, only allies.
4:42 Best Quote in RA3... Even the lieutenant approves... or not. EDIT: 7:02 Ah, yes Zhana... the hottest Commander in RA franchise. 20:53 Too much casualty on what otherwise friendly purple unit. I placed a Kirov right above the VIP bunker before he turned against us. Once that's confirmed, bombs away and save the life of our Soviet comrades. You'll get all Krukov's forces unharmed. 26:06 Yes! Not one man nor one bear shall be left behind! 35:20 Yes! Our fallen comrades had been avenged!
You probably couldn’t do it without risking losing a unit, but when I played through in co op in the assassinate the emperor mission I changed my apocalypse tank to the harpoon form and pulled his king oni into it and just bombarded him with everything else I had. It was kind of entertaining. He runs towards the bottom of the map if you don’t so you can pretty much just end it right when he leaves his building.
For the Yari's sudoku tendency, iirc they are scripted to use the ability when they are at half health. So it triggered when they friendly fired each other shooting at the ore collector. maybe the subs cannot hit themselves with their attack so it doesn't work when alone.
Minor correction: in TibSun (where veterancy debuted, AFAIK) units had to destroy 10x their worth for a promotion, and in RA2 that number was 3x. But due to a bug, at least in RA2, the *first* veterancy-point isn't registered properly or at all (or so I'm being led to believe via a recent Phobos-feature ), thus units must kill more than 3x their worth by one dollar. Since RA2 and TibSun are the same engine, I'm guessing it too has that bug. The final soviet mission vs the empire is my favorite; if doing it just right, players can just steam-roll the enemy with Heavy tanks (I refuse to call double-barrelled tanks that can't target air-units Apocalypse/Mammoth Tanks). Dreadnoughts are fun too. RA3 should've ended like this: "The future is yours, commander. The future is yours." "For the foreseeable future... comrade chairman *I am* the future."
Awesome vid mate! One thing I learned by screwing around, in Mt. Fuji mission when you rush the twinblades over to Naomi's base, you can use a magnetic satellite to suck up the MCV before it unpacks which completely messes up Naomi's AI - she will try to get one replacement MCV but it just gets stuck, making her base unable to build anything. Combine that with destroying the nanocores early and you can effectively eliminate Naomi before she even has a chance to being being a threat.
It is weird that the war factories on easter island can build tesla tanks in place of hammer tanks for 2200 but they also promote super easily like 200 or 300$ for a single promotion
19:51 Surprised you didn't just cheese that with engineers and Natasha. I put her up the hill on the right side and just have her constantly call down a plane on top of The bunker and then sell the required buildings to instantly complete that objective the moment it pops

PS, The Science of War mission can be cheesed by ignoring the main two islands and going directly towards the enemy production and generators with Twinblades, completely removing any naval threats such as ACs and Hydrofoils.
I'm pretty damn good at TW3 & KW, but boy 😅 do I suck at RA3 😂
This video really drives home how much too 😊
Its really funny the amount of actors were in this game that were also in pirates of the carribean
25:14 you can also use the level 2 or 3 magnetic satellite to send Kenji MCV and Mecha Bay Core to space, it lasts just about the right time to get rid of both
OK I'm subscribing! I'm the one who requested this after all!
wow i thought the leech beam only stole the target weapons system, learned something today. Thx for your videos!
Let's GOOOOOOOOOOO!! This is my favorite command and conquer!
Ah truly showing the pride of the working class! PRAISE BE TO GLORIOUS ARMORED MINER COLLECTORS OF THE SOVIET UNION!
On to tame a living god I always use Natasha to snipe the emperor mech. For some reason you're allowed to do that. It won't end the mission (despite presumably the emperor being dead) but the mech will be unable to fight back
I have been waiting so long for this video
A lot of the missions were legitimately "Peak Imperial technology when Iron Curtain" moments
I love all the edits you do to these C&C cut scenes!
This is getting out of hand
Now there are two of them!
Honestly, despite being a decade old, this game still looks so good if you told me it was released recently I'd believe you.
16:30 foreshadowing
Good vid, as always !
I noticed the subs suicide after taking damage
I think the reason 2 suicide next to each other in front of the ore collector is because they're damaging each other in the splash damage
whereas 1v1 the yari sub can't damage itself, only allies.
I swear the orbital magnet and drop powers are BUSTED.
having rewatched this 10 months later just after mental omega I gotta say that Mental Omega Krukov is such a bigger chad than RA3 Krukov
Maybe the real challenge was the friends we dragged along the way
You probably couldn’t do it without risking losing a unit, but when I played through in co op in the assassinate the emperor mission I changed my apocalypse tank to the harpoon form and pulled his king oni into it and just bombarded him with everything else I had.
RA3 should've ended like this:
"The future is yours, commander. The future is yours."
"For the foreseeable future... comrade chairman *I am* the future."
cant wait for the RA3 uprising run, best dlc after kanes wrath
THE RETURN OF THE KING!!!
Quite the irony that the map for the final Allied mission is the tutorial for the Soviets.
babe wake up new vid dropped
Awesome vid mate! One thing I learned by screwing around, in Mt. Fuji mission when you rush the twinblades over to Naomi's base, you can use a magnetic satellite to suck up the MCV before it unpacks which completely messes up Naomi's AI - she will try to get one replacement MCV but it just gets stuck, making her base unable to build anything. Combine that with destroying the nanocores early and you can effectively eliminate Naomi before she even has a chance to being being a threat.
The vacum imploder can also be killed by a dreadnaughts "force attacking" the ground right below it.
In mission 6 you can actually leave an engineer standing by the construction yard of Kurkov when he is still friendly.
This game was my life at one point sadly finding people is now non existent.
Love these videos!
Good gods I forgot how awful those terror drone zaps are on the ol' eyeballs.
Also tesla tanks my beloved. Why, why were you a campaign only unit?!
*Establishing battlefield control, stand by*
*Welcome back, commander*
Holy shit, RA3 is 16 years old already? Feels like yesterday.
Been Waiting for This!! .. Let's Watch!! 🐼
Litty kitty always appreciate some c&c content
It is weird that the war factories on easter island can build tesla tanks in place of hammer tanks for 2200 but they also promote super easily like 200 or 300$ for a single promotion
I was having a bad day till I seen this new vid! Keep up the great work!
26:25 also natasha's snipe works on him but you need to finish the pilotless king oni to finish the mission
19:51 Surprised you didn't just cheese that with engineers and Natasha. I put her up the hill on the right side and just have her constantly call down a plane on top of The bunker and then sell the required buildings to instantly complete that objective the moment it pops
thank you for a new video. You are the best :)
