Whats unrealistic about water in blender that it has no bubbles, i mean usually when water hits water, you see bubbles forming around meanwhile in blender it does not generate bubbles.
This has really reminded me why I want to learn 3D. I had been stuck for a while not really sure what aspect I really wanted to do, and I realized how impactful sound was while watching this.
Using the physics engines, and lots of trial and error to make it look good. Putting together something simple (for fun) usually takes me an hour to put together and 2 days to make it look acceptable.
I think this may only be possible with a Adon called bullet constraints but it is not compatible with Versions 2.8 and newer. I Hope i am wrong though XD
