A: Go to the main menu scene, and play story mode. after you start playing story mode, stop the scene and go back to the school scene. it will be fixed when you play the school scene! Q: Help! the movement is broken in the school scene A: Do the same as the last question Q: The items are broken! A: Download the two newest patches through the toolbox, 2.2.3 and 2.2.3 2. you may have to download basic again for this to fix. Q: The items are still broken even after downloading basic again and downloading the patches! A: Sorry, but if theyre still broken, that means that they really cant be fixed, if you want you can try another decompile, such as simplified open source, or other decompiles. Basic is being replaced with a brand new (and better) decompile called KOTLIN by catshee. Q: It says theres some glitch in the game controller about some achievement controller, how do i fix that? A: Simply delete line 624 and line 56 in the game controller script, delete any other lines if it still gives an error. Q: Help! the game keeps debugging some item for some reason! A: Search for "Debug.Log(ItemEditorAPI.FindItem(BASICItem.PrincipalKeys));" In the player script, than the delete that line. Q: The game wont compile a build! A: if it has something to do with a minimap folder, delete the minimap folder in Assets/_BASIC/BasicAddons
Dude! I was using a different decompile which weren't bad at all but certainly harder to use, this one was WAYYYYY Easier! Can you do an updated tutorial on how to use the ItemEditor and and MapEditor? Because I tried but's it's just a script
go to the main menu (scene>scenes>main menu) and start the scene, than play normal mode. than stop the scene and go to the school scene again, itll be fixed
@@carsclipsforcrashblox2 its not "illegal" to mod baldis basics plus, its illegal to distribute bb+ decompiles, plus bb+ mods have only the changed files anyway
@@chipzeydude The art of baldi basic classic modding is a lost art. Oh master of baldis basics modifications. Teach me your ways of how to open the so called "basic" file (in short how do i open the basic unity file)

just try to open the decompile in unity hub and install the version that it prompts you to install

What is the unity version?
Also its hard to open cuz it takes forever to login
unity will prompt you to download the version when you try to open the decompile
