For any of you asking how to add textures, you open your files, grab the texture you want (an image) and drag it into whatever Unity folder. Then, drag it onto whatever you want to re-texture/add texture to.
Definitely going to make a very cool mod with this! I am planning on turning Baldi's schoolhouse into a fancy high-rise hotel with realistic working elevators in this mod! It's been 5 years since I last made a Baldi's Basics mod and it was absolute garbage. But I've been looking at other's mods and learning how to make a decompile, and I've now had some prior experience with modeling and placing models in Roblox Studio, and luckily Unity is very similar to Roblox Studio, so I now have a good idea of how I can make a great mod!
This helps but you forgot to mention about the secret ending because when I get all notebooks and get the secret ending I can't move but I figure it out by myself

Hey i did all the steps step by step and it was not working,, i was on the right version of unity-i made sure to not mess ANYTHING up but then it says-The refrenced script-Unknown on this behaviour is missing Also-the game doesn't load up the music will play but i wont be the player i will still be in freecam

Theres also a easier way, Extracting the decompile going in unity selecting "Add" "Add from disk" and then selecting the folder you just extracted

You can find a texture in the texture2d folder. Than just modify it using a software like paint.net

ive restarted multiple times btw, player just slides if i stop movin
So if the floors have a tag called floors or something like that make it that. Idk if it does, if not, just edit the player script.
