This came out great!!!! How come one was 30 volume and one was 10 volume. I would think the 10 volume wouldn't do much on level 2 hair. You should have gotten a huge tip. That is very hard to slice/weave. How will you touch it up in 8 weeks?
She probably wanted different dimensions for the highlights so she did 10 to give a slight lift and then did the 30 to get the higher lift. The higher the volume, the higher the lift.

However her hair is now way over processed, this can be seen by the stringy texture that looks like it will break easily when you were removing the foil. Her hair looks great! Ashier blondes actually compliment darker skin tones as opposed to a golden blonde. Golden hair washes out yellow under tones. Don't assume because someone's skin is darker that they can't have light hair, it's all about undertones!

Taylor Manning Speaking from a stylist's perspective, textured hair takes way longer to do. A stylist determines prices based on the time spent and products used. A stylist may charge more for long hair, very thick hair or extremely course hair because they have to use more time and product.

I bet her hair fell out later on...that was just too long for that chemical color stuff to sit on her hair like that. The key to healthy natural hair is water, moisture, and as less manipulation as possible! (It was gorgeous though and I'm totally jealous. That's the real issue here with me I'm afraid lol)
Her hair will be fine as long as she conditions it properly & does protein treatments. Also I saw someone mention their curls getting weak after bleaching their hair. You can use Ovation Cell Therapy products. They're expensive but it will make your curls look better than before. I've been coloring & bleaching hair for years (especially my own) and as long as you take care of it then there shouldn't be any breakage or sheading BUT there's always a possibility depending on the condition of the hair. Personally, I always tell people if their not up for the maintenance then bleaching their hair is not in their best interest.
