@@rashmigpt8361 Copper is a reactive metal, which means it can potentially leach into acidic foods, especially when heated. This can be a concern because excessive copper intake has been linked to health problems such as gastrointestinal issues, liver damage, and even copper toxicity. However, the risk of copper toxicity is extremely low unless you consume large amounts of acidic food cooked in unlined copper cookware. Most modern copper cookware is lined with non-reactive materials such as stainless steel or tin to prevent copper from leaching into food. These linings create a barrier between the food and the copper surface, making it safe for cooking. Additionally, it is important to note that the cooking temperature plays a significant role in determining the rate of copper leaching. High heat increases the reactivity of copper, while lower temperatures reduce the risk. Therefore, it is advisable to avoid using copper cookware for high-heat cooking methods or acidic foods for long periods of time. If you have concerns about copper leaching or have a known sensitivity or allergy to copper, it is best to opt for alternative cookware materials such as stainless steel or cast iron.
@@TrustisLife yeah i wrote copper by mistake, i corrected it now, i myself use brass and copper bottles at home but then again only for water, but cooking in the utensils is a whole another topic, indian dishes contain dahi, milk, lemon juice and other acidic ingredients which may react, this is something they should have been clear about in their packages, a regular consumer may use these utensils normally potentially harming their health, the way of cooking and how the utensils should be used should be made clear
