@@JDCline1982 for sure! With a terrible organization and worse game planing… Commanders mishandled him bigtime and was still able to show some elite talent. Waiting for him to get his number assigned so I can get my Jersey ready for game day!
He didn't complain that their offense was one dimensional and thre 70% of the time with a weak offensive line. Good on him.
Their run game was God awfull, their O line was the worst.....and he still held it down.....he definitely has potential
My Son in Law was in the athletic dept at UNC while Sam was there. (Now he is at Gonzaga). He said Sam is a quiet dude but very talented.
Loved him in Washington, wish we kept him and gave him help. Wishing him and Seattle so much success- you guys got a really great dude!

He lead the league for a few weeks in passing yards I wish we didn’t let him go he never got a good shot no o line and the defense wasn’t great last year yall got a great guy he has a great chance at being a starter

Anyone playing fantasy knows this guy was slinging it....even without scary terry or a run game, he may just he the answer and John Schneider is a wizard
@@marked4death076yeah I had him on my dynasty team & he saved me lol. Lost Brady to retirement & Zach Wilson was trash so I was desperate at QB but he held me down. Got Howell @ pick 20.11 in our first draft & had him in the taxi slot his rookie year. He’s a beast
"Always compete..." love to hear a new hawk say those words. Sounds like humility, ownership, and confidence and he cost us somewhere between a 5th and a 7th round pick worth of draft capital. There's clearly no way Seattle was going to get a player of his caliber with a year's worth of NFL starting experience for a 5th round pick or his low salary with 2 years of team control. He should be a good backup with future starter potential. Seattle looks like they were hedging their bets on landing a desirable QB this draft and likely decided Sam Howell was better than what would be available to them by the time they were willing to spend a pick on a QB.
He played very well against us.

I think Sam is going to be great here in Seattle. He's passionate for the game and you have to find those players that truly love the game and want to win, he checks the boxes. Turning on the tape reminds me a little of Russ, big arm and slightly mobile.
I like this guy. Sounds like the 12's turned him into a Seahawks fan last year.

Excited for Sam! I can see him staring in few years after Geno. If Geno injured i think he will be a starter sooner than we all anticipate.

The key for Howell would be to get the turnover ratio under control. Understanding if the throw is not there do not go for a completion but improvise while protecting the football.

Sam Howell is legit good. I cant wait to see him spread his wings away from Ronald and EB.
Watched Sam at UNC and the good things he did with the Commanders. Sam plays hard nosed football, he is a baller and in your face competitor and wants to win. The Seahawks are the winner and the Commanders are the losers. You got one helluva QB at a cut rate price.
