Schneider basically said 16 is not a place to get a better player than Howell. This is a tough guy who wants to win if he throws less ints its great. He is 23 with 18 NFL starts you cant ask for more than that

He was in a terrible situation with the Commenders! It would be difficult for any QB to thrive in a subpar organization! Seattle’s a top tier team, with great coaches! In Grubbs offense, I could see Yosemite Sam blossoming into a potential “franchise QB!” He can take a year behind Geno learning to offense. Then in ‘25 he could our starting quarterback! He’s young, tough, was a Captain, has 18 NFL starts, and has a cannon for an arm 💪 He can make all of the NFL throws. Can Seattle finally get a QB who can pick apart a offense? Especially with throws over the middle of the field…I fully expect JSN to get over 1,000 yards receiving! #LFG #12’s #GoHawks

As a commanders fan I love this kid problem was the ownership was changing when he got drafted so he was stuck in no man’s land and the team wasn’t willing to develop or protect him. Also EB was crazy throwing the ball a tun not giving Sam a run game to take some of the pressure off. I went to every home game this kid took a beating mentally and physically if you can build that back up you got a guy that has legit top 12 top 10 qb in the league potential

I can easily recall many of those interceptions were caused by his own players. Sad, but true. There are times when his receivers would simply fall down. Also, no team got behind two TDS as fast as Washington. Their defense was terrible so defenses had the advantage by making Sams offense one dimensional. His OC had no play calling experience.

John Schneider overpays for everything, he has a crazy tendency for overpaying blocking Tight ends. All an agent has to say to him is "other teams are looking at signing/drafting my client, and JS is ready and willing to believe them. To give up so much for a hack QB, when you could have had Fields for less. Sam Howell will never climb higher than number 2 QB on a depth chart. Fields at least has pro bowl potential. They both had really bad offensive lines, but Fields did not throw 21 picks.

Sam Howell is a straight baller! As a Commanders fan, Im not alone when I say that we made a huge mistake trading him. He played under the absolute worst imaginable circumstances last year but still managed to show elite talent in some games! There is definitely a bit of polishing that needs to be done but for the most part he has a huge upside. Arm talent, mobility, and toughness are what you wanna see in a franchise player. You guys are lucky to have got him cheap and I 100% will be watching his career with the Seahawks from D.C.! Who knows… if y’all give him a chance to start, I’ll probably be rockin his Seahawks jersey out here too!

The way Howell can throw on the run, run and throw across his body, his pocket presence, and escapability is remarkable very much similar to Mahomes.
Those playing flaws he’s has are very correctable with the better coaching staff he will have now.

Go see Sam in training camp! He will know the entire playbook before camp starts. You will see why this east coast fan is so mad at the Washington for letting him go! He's got all the tool's and a no quit mentality! Future all pro! Get ready for some QB competition! He is a team player if the decision goes Geno's way in the beginning but he will eventually be the starting QB and take this team to a winning season ! I have watched every game this kid has played in college and the pro's and I know that with a decent O-LINE and a coach who can make in game adjustments he can be one of the best to grace this league! He has already experienced the worse the NFL has to offer in conditions and coaching and survived! There is only one way to go, all the way up! Go Seattle!! POMO

The only comp with Cousins is they both were run out of junk organizations. Haven watched Cousins and Howell in practice it’s clear the differences. Sam is 4 years younger than Kirk was at this juncture. Kirk was in college for 5 years and it took 4 years in the NFL to become a starter. Kirk has a great arm but Sam's arm is elite. There are also a handful of traits Kirk doesn’t have. Kirk had an extremely talented team and great coaching. Sam had a bad team with no weapons and terrible coaching. His real comp is Brett Favre, slightly shorter with a chill personality. Both are strong as an ox, strong arms, and Dads were high school coaches. Seattle has a potential perennial pro bowl QB.

Kenny Pickett just got traded. In 2001, 2002 and 2003, the National Football League only could produce two legitimate franchise QBs named
Trevor Lawrence and CJ Stround in the 1st and 2nd rounds in the NFL Draft. That is excluding Anthony Richardson who got injured. By having
said that, this is absolutely ridiculous. The NFL is going nowhere like this. Patrick Mahomes can win 10 straight Super Bowl if this just continues.
Obviously, there is someone like Brock Purdy coming out of nowhere. And among these three years, there was always Sam Howell of the Washington
Commanders who was drafted in the 5th round. With Kenny Pickett and Desmond Ridd of the world, they have already decided that they will not
be part of it. Zach Wilson and Mac Jones of the world has collapsed. No one is interested in them now. But Sam Howell has a legitimate chance
to bounce back from last year and start the whole new career with the Seahawks. The sky is the limit for Sam Howell and I guarantee this.
