True, but there are so many good games. Superhot VR remains one of the games I use to show off VR when people come over, everyone just GETS it immediately (along with Beat Saber).

This is easily the best-edited, smoothest Top 25 (or 20 ... or 15 ... or 2000 at the rate PSVR’s library is going) list yet! Reviews are quick and concise while still explaining why the games are great, the collaboration aspect brings a higher diversity of opinions and even a lot of the clips are new. Terrific job with this one!
Also, the fact that games like Moss and Superhot have to be relegated to honorable mentions at this point is just mind-blowing, and really speaks to how much PSVR’s library has grown over the past four and a half years.

When high quality must-play games like Moss and Superhot are pushed outside of a top 25 list, that's when you know PSVR finally has a deep catalog of excellent games.

Tbh I’m surprised creed rise to glory wasn’t on this list, that’s probably one of my favorite ps vr games out right now.

I realize there is a desire to get and discuss new games on a top 25 list. I also realize these are your opinions but if I was on your team I would not allow Moss to not be in the top 25. It is utterly magic and charming. Talk about presence! No PSVR should miss this one!
There's always a bit of recency bias when new games come along. But personally I don't cherish Moss in the same way everyone else does which is why I finally removed it from my list going into this debate. That said, make sure you're there the next time we debate the list (we do it LIVE every 3 months) and make your voce heard! :D

PSVR is still growing and the top 25 showcases the success that the PSVR has had. Much like the flat market, we are beginning to see multiple games that could be #1. Hopefully this momentum is carried on to the PSVR 2. Excellent commentary and presentation, very enjoyable to watch.

It blows my mind that you gentlemen are willing to have this debate so often. My lazy ass would do probably 1 maybe 2 a year, max.
Astro Bot completely blew me away and redefines what i expect/want from a platformer. It is PERFECT in every area that counts. Music is highly addicting and one of the best soundtracks i have heard in a while. Boss fights are clever and intuitive, (specially the last boss). This game completely stole my heart away and im glad i listened to my friend that wouldnt shut up about it lol

Gorn is super underrated, its a very fun fighting game witch has diffrent levels and you can unlock new wepons
Oooooh, really want Sariento, Skyrim, catch and release, Saints and sinners, and even though it’s not on the list, pixel ripped 1989
Sairento is amazing. The fact you have so many different ways of moving around plus how you can combine them, on top of all the weapons and attacks, makes for an exciting game. Once you get enough practice you’ll start chaining moves in way that create an exhilarating rhythm.
Even more so, once you are in that world (with some of the best music this side of Deus Ex) you’ll start discovering that if you wished you could pull a certain move in the game you probably can.

I bought the PS VR 2 days ago and been having a blast. Now I want Skyrim but...70 bucks?? They are making me pay full price for the same game I already bought for the same system? Jesus Bethesda...

When I saw Astro Bot : Rescue Mission, I thought that it would not be a great VR game as it’s not a first person game.
But when I experienced it, it was extremely enjoyable.
The music, the immersion, the details everything is just perfect. Definitely a must have for all psvr owners.

RE7 is still my personal favorite, but if any other game deserves a turn at the top of the list, it is absolutely Saints and Sinners!

Still jazzed about seeing Sairento get some attention this go-round ;) I'm almost through the first Hitman in VR and that's another one that's kind of in the "pretty good," not great. Skyrim VR is quite rough with all the harsh pop-in and LOD but now that NMS got a resolution bump I really want to try it when I FINALLY get my PS5 camera adapter, whenever that happens.
Really glad to see Catch and Release getting some love, one of my top played games by number of hours, second only to Ghost of Tsushima.... I'm still trying to catch that last fish though, just can't find it

Blood and truth is amazing
I've only played a single VR game, Superhot on an Occulas Quest and it was so fun I've decided to get one myself. I've got a PS5 and wondered if getting a PSVR or waiting on the PSVR 2 or getting an Occulas or Vive would be better. Either way just knowing that Superhot is just an honorable mention with PSVRs limited library of games means there's so many great games to play. I may just go with an Occulas for now so I can play Half Life Alyx until the PSVR 2 comes out next year.

Thanks to all of you for making these lists. I will share this on Reddit when people ask what game is worth gettings. My number one game remains "Rush of Blood" to this day. RE7 is a close second.
Agreed. Rush of Blood is one of those rare perfect 10 games for me. Does everything right. Really hope I am able to play it on PSVR 2, or that it gets a port.

I have not played No man sky and firewall zero hours yet. I wait ps5 to play nms and fiber optic for online gaming :))
Some great picks, but Hitman? I started with the first and got halfway through Hitman 2 and on the whole -- as someone who never played Hitman before -- to me it looks like the perfect example of a game that belongs on the flat-screen in 3rd-person and NOT in VR. I just don't see how VR adds anything to it as there isn't really anything gained by the up-close look and was really meant to be played more like a laid-back spectator. It's self-aware in its zaniness, but feels too jarring in lack of realism in first-person. I loved going through Hokkaido though in VR I have to admit. ;-)

@@JoshCzoski by hitman 3 here i include the whole hitman trilogy. You need hitman 3 to play the other in vr. All the three hitman games are on the first place of my top 25 psvr games;))

Anywayz I guess opinions vary a bit on this one! (I don't think they're outright bad, but not the greatest as far as VR games go).

Been playing RDR2 again This. Week. God that game needs PSVR. More than any other non driving title.
Try PC VR for RDR2. There is a new vr mod that was just released for RDR2 for PC VR. I played it on HP Reverb G2 and boy its beautiful.

You can't play PSVR games with Quest 2 unfortunately
Resident Evil 7 without a doubt was and is a terrifying game to play in vr (or non-vr). I honestly wish they would have done a fps vr mode for Resident Evil 2 Remake.
I just got the adaptor to play on ps5, makes a big difference from the base PS4. Great list guys!

@Redneck Hillbilly because the headset wasn’t the reason for all the games being blurry, the PS4 cpu and graphics card was. Play Hitman 3 on a PS4 pro or ps5 and you’ll see.

Yeah you're looking at a really expensive game to get the most out of it, but Dirt Rally IS amazing.
you should try it first if there is even a way to do that. That is the only game Ive ever gotten sick from playing in VR, and Ive played a lot, I never even knew what VR sickness was till I tried that game.

Can you play persistence with a dualsense?
Yes, it’s actually one of the rare games that is better with the Dualsense because of the way the simulated rumble works with the haptics.

Why did you not choose Driveclub or GT Sport VR ?
Dirt Rally makes shows up occasionally and Drive Club VR used to make an appearance on some of our earlier lists. But the answer to your question is that there are just too many good games so a LOT of our favorites don't make the cut. We make these lists live so you can always see how they're made! :D

WD saints and sinners is actually the best vr game I have ever played, so interactive and is almost like an open world experience after u finish the main story. Oh yeah I also like to pretend to be feeding zombies with a spoon and then stick it down their throat xd

I know hitman gets a lot of slack and I definitely understand why, but I still genuinely enjoy it. Never have I ever wanted to explore the level so much, and with a certain type of play you can mitigate the awkwardness and have a lot of fun :)
i once saw a vr game idk if it was ps or pc but the guy was in a car shooting mac 11 guns out of the window while getting chased by bad guys. anyone know what game? it looked so dope. he flipped the enemies car and it flipped over his head. i need that game lol

Great list. However is No Man’s Sky being judged by the way 95% of people are able to experience it right now or solely because it looks better on PS5?
Every game is being judged based on it being played in the best way possible. So the PS5 graphical upgrade absolutely shot NMS much higher up on this list than it was previously. :D

Saints and sinners looks so fun so im buying it
I noticed something interesting the other day. I always thought PSVR wasn't capable of perfect black on screen. I thought this because on games like RE7 and countless others, when you see a black screen, or completely unlit areas there was always a faint amount of static pixel noise accross the image. But the PSVR uses an OLED panel so it should be capable of perfect black, right?
I finally stumbled upon a game that shows this capability, Super Stardust VR loading screens are 100% black, zero pixel noise, and it's not like the screen is off, theres is a loading graphic in the center of the screen. Why is this the only game I've ever found on PSVR to fully push the contrast ratio of the OLED panel?! What gives??
